I have now finished book two and I am really enjoying this series. I was a little disappointed to find several errors, but nothing major that took away from the story. I look forward to reading book three.

So, I don't remember noticing any errors in the first book. The second book had some errors but it wasn't bad. Now I am into the third book and the errors are starting to drive me crazy. The errors that I have noticed in the second and third books are strange. Like the author changed the sentence and forgot to remove a word that belonged in the original sentence, but doesn't fit in the final sentence. For example "He nodded and looked away, breaking whatever he'd spell he put on me." :(

I loved this set and can't wait to read the next book.

I read Point of Return a while back and gave it 4 stars. I had the next in the series in my wishlist but never got around to reading it. When a box set became available of the first three in the series, I one-clicked it, but still didn’t read it until this weekend. I have no idea why it took me so long to dive into these books since I enjoyed the first one. Neither the second or third book was as good as the first, but I still ended up invested in the Nordic Lords MC and am glad I finally read them. These are gritty with lots of triggers that some will find unacceptable so if you only want “safe” reads, you should probably skip this series.

Point of Return:

I read this in May of last year. Here is what I had to say about it, with some added little tidbits.

It’s not the usual MC Princess leaves MC then has to come back formula. Liv was the princess of the Nordic Lords, her dad being Club President. Tragedy and feelings of betrayal by those she considered family caused her to run for 5 long years. Circumstances forced her back to town, but not back into the arms of her MC. In fact, by choosing to date a cop, even if he was an old friend, she basically put a steel wall between her and her family. I liked Liv, but sometimes her decisions made me want to throw my ipod at her make-believe head.

Daemon wasn’t your typical MC hero. Although a club kid like Liv, he did not want to grow up and become a member. That very same tragedy that derailed Liv’s life, derailed his too. Choices had to be made that ended up with Daemon not only a club member, but VP of the club. Daemon’s number one goal, in fact the goal of the entire MC, was to get their club princess back.

There were some twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and a few I did, but they were good ones. There was a lot going on, but it didn’t take away from the enjoyment. One heartbreaking thing happened that could be a major trigger for someone: View Spoiler ». Be careful, it’s a twist in the story, so only look if you have some serious trigger issues.

The Nordic Lords was full of characters that I am eager to get to know better, with lots of fodder for future books. Hopefully, we’ll get each members story, and the cliff hangerish fate of one of the characters (not Liv or Daemon, their story is complete), better be next up. My final thoughts on the book: Even though there were some issues that left me shaking my head, I really enjoyed Point of Return.

Spice’s Rating: 4 Stars

Point of Redemption:

Faith, another club kid raised with Daemon and Liv, had been living in some pretty horrific circumstances for five long years. At the end of Point of Return, she was in an even worse mess and her fate was hanging in the balance.

Redemption backtracks a bit so we can get some of Faith and Ryker’s past history and even their POV on some of the things that happened in POR. I’m not a fan of backtracking like this, much less the timeline back and forth it had going on, but I understood the need in this instance.

Ryker, Daemon’s brother and Faith’s former fiancee, is another whose life went off the rails the night of the tragedy 5 years before. Wrongly thinking the worst of Faith, he unknowingly left her to a brutal and horrific future that most would not want for even their worst enemy, much less someone they loved. Once he learns the truth of what he left her to, he is bound and determined to save her.

I had issues with this book which was disappointing since the plot could have been one I would have been all in on. Once I realized how Faith ended up where she did, and why she stayed I called bullshit. The person she was trying to protect didn’t deserve it AT ALL, and Faith was crazy and freaking stupid to stay. Ryker had the guilt complex to end all guilt complexes going on. Yes he screwed up majorly that day (with Faith, the other was an accident and he wasn’t at fault really), but then he ran and left everyone else holding the bag. In fact, he just kept taking on guilt that wasn’t his. Basically, I didn’t care for either MC which put a serious damper on the book for me.

The overall plot of the series advanced, I ‘m still invested in the Nordic Lords family, and aside from the MC’s, I still like the grittiness of the book and the writing.

Spice’s Rating: 3 Stars

Point of Freedom:

Jules and Jaden aren’t past lovers like the MC’s in Return and Redemption. Jules was actually Jaden’s late brother Scatch’s woman. Scratch died in a motorcycle accident that Jaden squarely blamed on Jules because of a misinterpretation of something he saw. Turning the MC against her, refusing to talk to her no matter how hard she tried, like Ryker did with Faith, he left her swinging, not realizing she was pregnant with Scratch’s baby.

Fast forward 3 years, Jules is back in town not only to help Liz while she recuperates, but as a single parent, she needs a support system and this is where her family is so she’s staying. Needless to say, Jaden doesn’t take this well.

At first Jaden is one serious douchewaffle to her. The things he says to her, much less some of his actions because of his misguided hate are pretty horrific. So horrific I wondered at her need to unite him with her daughter, the only living family Jaden has left. Obviously in order for this book to work, he gets over himself, but I couldn’t believe she forgave him for his prior treatment.

I did like Jules. Up until the time I didn’t. She did something pretty freaking stupid. I found the tables turned, wondering why Jaden forgave her. Before this, she was kind, a great mom, and loyal. It pretty much sucked that she screwed up enough to get herself on my dumbass h list. Jaden, once he got his head out of his behind, ended up being pretty sweet beneath all that prickly badass biker exterior.

Once again this was a gritty read, with lots of action. A bad choice of Jule’s catches up with her, and the Sporelli’s, a crime family, targets the MC. I do wish that we could have gotten a play by play of the resolution to the Sporelli issue instead of being told about it. It would have made a great jumping off point for another book. I thought this one was better that the second book, but again didn’t live up to the promise of the first. I am still invested in these characters and I look forward to reading Finn’s book next. I just hope third times charm and Finn’s book finally fulfills the promise of book 1.

I got this bundle awhile ago and so glad I was skimming through my kindle and saw it again. All three of these books were great. What the women went through will pull at your heart but my goodness were they strong. The men were just as strong to help the women they loved. I can't wait to read the forth book "Finn's story" .

Teenage melodrama

Really, Really hated both characters. He was a selfish pig that screwed around with a teenager that Liv used to babysit. She was pregnant with another man's baby and Whined about Everything...I couldn't finish it. I don't like poor pitiful me books.

Something about this author's writing style does not work for me. I wasn't engaged by the characters or the plot. This was a DNF for me and probably my last foray into Lynn's writing world.

Well written with editing issues like missing words, misplaced words and some grammar issues, but not so many that it's distracting. Each story is a complete story about a couple, but there are storylines that are continuous between the books, so I wouldn't recommend reading them out of order.

Book 1: 4 Stars
Book 2: 3.5 Stars
Book 3: 4.5 Stars

This series has a very complex plot line that juggles the internal politics of an MC club trying to keep their town clean, characters who are conflicted about their roles in the Club, violence, mayhem, and hot biker sex. The storyline may seem similar to Sons of Anarchy, but the individual characters seemed unique and distinct from the show.

The characters are mostly in their twenties, so the series reads a little YA-angsty, but the MC storyline keeps it from getting overwrought.

Book one is a solid read, but I was frustrated with book two because the author rehashed a fair amount of book one with the POVs of the new couple for about the first third of the book. After that point, the story became it's own and the book improved significantly.

The best of bunch is book three with it's dark, broody alpha male and some of the most sizzling scenes of the three books. I'm definitely looking forward to book four.

Strongly recommended to fans of MC Biker stories.

I have read this series from the beginning and it is the only reason why I gave MC books another chance. It is well written and the characters are well written also.

I love that this series has everything an MC book should have, with blood, guts and guns...but it also has everything a steamy sexy romance should have as well.

I fell in love with this series during Daemon and Olivia's story and I craved more of the Nordic Lords. I will be honest and say I was deeply disappointed that Jaden and Jules' story wasn't right after, because the tension those two had hooked me right away. But I also needed to know what happened with Ryker and Faith. I just needed to know how that would play out so I patiently waited for Jaden and Jules and OH MY NORDIC LORDS it was SO worth the wait!!

So, after being completely satisfied with how all three of those couples relationships played out the only one left for me to need more of was FINN. I want to know his story...well more of his story. I want to know what woman is going to bring him to his knees. I want to fall in love with him and the woman that will change everything for him.

I just love this series. If you are into MC and romance then this series is for you and for 99 pennies you should not pass it up!!!

3.9*

I have to be honest. The characters and storyline were great, but book two is really badly edited and made it for hard reading. now, I generally never rate or comment my review based on edits but with it being so hard to read, I had no choice. book one was fantastic and that in itself got 5 stars. I love Damaeon, even in his possessive and controlling demeanour. Olivia is the sweet, girl next door type of person, but she strong willed considering everything she went through.
I loved Ryker, though is attitude stunk at times he was still sexy and full time alpha and a hero in sense. Faith was the girl who had it the roughest. she was a whore, but not by choice. yet she survived, she's my favourite female lead in the series.
I didn't particularly like Jaden or even Jules in book 3. I hated both their attitudes and characters. I hate stubborn people who don't give life a chance, so I guess these two are a match made in heaven.
I did love the series, it lacked in some emotional ways but didn't stop me from being engrossed and captured by the storyline.
I do look forward to Finn's book, with his sexy aussie accent. And can't wait to find out why he's so broody and mysterious!

Aimed at audiences of 18+ with sexual content.

Overall Rating:
5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!

My rating for Book #1 is:

5 Crazy Ass Stars!!!!!

I didn't normally read MC Romance but there are a few authors out there that have completely changed my opinion on them and Stacey Lynn has most denitely joined in what I like to call, "Bring Daisy to the Motorcycle Side of Crazy"! And let me tell you, it's working! I couldn't get enough of Daemon. Holy Shiznits, is he freaking HOT! His and Olivia's story is an intense and emotional journey that is so well-written and believable. I can't wait to read Book #2!

Book #2

I really enjoyed Ryker and Faith's story. I was on the edge of my seat, swiping pages fast so I could find out what happens. This series is definitely keeping me on the "Motorcycle Side of Crazy".

Book #3

This has got to be the most emotional book of the series do far. I bawled my eyes with every book but this one had me crying ugly. Jaden and Jules' story is my favorite in the series

This series is a Crazy Ass Must Read!!! Stacey Lynn, you most definitely have a new fan and I can't wait to read Book #4!

GRAB THIS WHILE YOU CAN!! NO seriously...it was only 99 cents when I got it... the price of one book and way less than all 3 combined...and contains three of some of the best biker romances I have read.
I read the first two a while ago and then was so blown away with how good they were I had to buy the third one...and now the author has graciously released them all in a box set for an unbelievably low price.
Daemon and Olivia (Book 1), Ryker and Faith (Book 2), Jaden and Jules (with a side of Scratch in Book 3) are the main focus of their own books but make standout appearances in the others as well. All the stories are filled with rich and well developed characters who will dig into your heart and keep you invested in their stories.
An awesome box set of the first three books in the series and they will only make you want for more!

***** 5 ***** "biker romances that will make you fall in love" stars

soo good, great series

This series never lets up. You are reading like a maniac, trying to remember every detail, getting hot and bothered by hot dirty bikers, trying to fit mystery pieces together, or and loving it all. This series has dark material, typical crime and outlaw behavior, second chance love stories, whodunnit mystery, strong women overcoming crazy hardships in their personal lives, tear jerking moments, stupid joker grin happy moments, and more.

There is something for everyone and each new story adds another layer to the overall story you love. Great writing and character development to boot.

Great MC series

Loved this new series! I found it and couldn't stop reading. I'm loving the Nordic Lords and a huge fan of this author. I love that it is a MC series about guys who love the life and freedom of the road but don't go into drugs and all kinds of nefarious side jobs. It's hard for me to get behind a lead that is peddling women and drugs. Quality characters and quality writing. I want to offer up my services as an editor because there were several stupid errors but nothing to prevent me from loving the books and snapping up the next. I'm anxiously awaiting each new installment.

I wasn't sure about this set, but it caught my eye, and it was on offer so I thought I would give it a try. I am glad I did. This kept me occupied for hours on my recent coach trip. I liked the back and forth dialogue between the characters and the fast pace of the action. The sexy bedroom scenes didn't hurt either. I also liked that this were not always straightforward with the characters and that there were some surprising revelations along the way. It was also good how each book would give you little updates on the other characters as they all spent time together. I would read more of these.

Enjoyed

I really did like this series I would have given 5 stars but each book repeated the story from a little different perspective. There was a LOT of repeating and the stories could have had more depth of not for that. It was the time reading and I did enjoy it. It could have had more grit and more surprise overall it was kind of predictable but enjoyable even with all that.

Loved this! This was my first introduction to Stacy Lynn and the Nordic Lords MC. I loved all the stories. They are filled with humor, romance, grief, love and forgiveness. They are also very intriguing and sexy. With lots of Alpha males and strong women that love them and can keep them on their toes. I just purchased the fourth book in the series to see what happens next. You gotta read this if you like biker, alpha type men!

Love the Nordic Lords

What an excellent box set. The Nordic Lords are Hot Alpha Bikers. But the reality of this set really centers around three women who have grown up in Jasper Mills and these bikers. There is suspense, anger, tears laughter, throw your kindle moments and love. An excellent read

Box set

The first and third books were great. The second book was kind of boring. Love the sinister darkness of the MC. Love even more books that show that big tough bikers are also loyal, loving and concerned family men also. Thank you Stacey Lynn for writing a series of books that are stand alone but better as a series.

Really Liked This Series!

After reading all 3 books I couldn't pick a favorite, I liked all of them! I just knew the author had to be from Minnesota as only Minnesotans say the Cities when referring to St. Paul and Minneapolis. Great books and I can't wait for Finn's story.
