This was my first read by Avery Flynn and i really enjoyed it. Lots of romance as well as suspense. Some of the instant attraction was a bit over the top, but at least it those scenes didn't go on for too long that there was enough suspense thrown in to keep it moving. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

The Laytons
This very enjoyable series involves a middle class family that runs into different dilemmas. There strong female characters who reason their way out of these problems and meet their HEAs at the same time. Just waiting for the king story for brother Chris to complete this story line.

I absolutely loved this trilogy. Each story unique in itself. Each hero and heroine different then the one before. All strong and determined. All three of these books had great story lines, hot sex scenes, intrigue and HEA. I highly recommend you read the entire collection!

This is a well written series with very relatable characters. I just wish that Chris's story had been included. We know he's the most easy going, but surely he has a story....

What can I say: OUTstanding. Stupendous. Fantastic. Phenomenal! It has everything, it has romance, it has mystery. Avery Flynn has done it again!
Dangerous Kiss
Claire is the owner of the restaurant Harvest Bistro. She takes her job as owner very seriously. She even empties the garbage. While doing so this night, she finds a dead body in her garbage dumpster. Totally freaked, she calls her brother Hank, who also happens to be the sheriff for help.
Jake and his father own Absolute Securities Jake is the investigator hired by the girl's father to look into the girl's death. When Claire sees him for the first time, she thinks "trouble" is written all over him. He is the kind of man that "made women of all ages yearn for a nearby bed". He is a pretty boy just like her ex, a self-centered jerk that looks like Apollo. She learned her lesson the hard way, she will not make that mistake again…..Or will she?
Claire learned throughout the story that Jake is not like her ex. Jake is a dependable person a truly caring person, and starts falling for him.
Ms. Avery did a wonderful job writing this book. It is a wonderful "who done it", as well as a romance book. She does a phenomenal job on the character development.
This book is part of a series and I am glad because I cannot get enough of these characters.
I am really enjoying this series. I cannot wait to read Dangerous Flirt, and Dangerous Tease.
Dangerous flirt by Avery Flynn
This is the story of Hank and Beth Hank is the local sheriff Beth is an estate attorney.
Beth lost her parents in a car accident when she a child due to a drunk driver. She has always blamed herself for the accident because she asked to make a stop on the way home. Thus, making them get home later than originally planned. Because of the time delay, they were involved in the accident.
Beth has always had a thing for Hank, however, after having a conversation with Claire, Hanks sister, about how Hank wants a family someday, Claire tells Hank she is not interested in their relationship going any further. Oh, but she really is! I am not going to describe any more of the story. You really need to read it for yourself.
This is a wonderfully heartwarming story of two people in love, it will make you laugh it will make you cry, it is a very emotional roller coaster. Ms. Flynn did a wonderful job when writing this book.

Have you ever been upset when finished a book? Well, I am right now! I finished the Layton Series: Dangerous Kiss, Dangerous Flirt, and just now Dangerous Tease.
This book, this series, to somebody from the past is Dy-no-mite! Sorry, I am showing my age. OK, I am getting back to the important item, Dangerous Tease.
I absolutely loved, loved, loved the story of Josie and Sam. Sam is a professor at Cather College in Dry Creek, Nebraska. Josie is a server at a casino in Las Vegas. They meet while Sam and his brothers Chris and Hank are visiting Las Vegas on a gambling trip. The first time they see each other there is an instant attraction, which is highly irregular for Sam. Sam is a straight arrow, staid, college professor some may say boring. "Some" would be very wrong. Due to a tragedy in Sam's past, he has become all of the above, but Josie will make him see the light.
Ms. Flynn did a stupendous job writhing/rewriting this book. She really makes you see and feel all of the emotions that the characters are feeling. I loved the hesitancy Sam goes thru when Josie mentions the treasure. Absolutely positive that is why Josie is attracted to him. But, he is wrong, definitely wrong.
I wonder…… Sam has another brother, Chris… hmmmmmmm

I LOVED this series fast paced action romance and strong women & men! I enjoy how they all connect someway or another . If you dont like intense instant attraction you might not enjoy but if you do and believe it can happen these are for you for sure !! I feel bad for not writing more but I think you will enjoy these books and would recommend give them a shot .Claire and Jake work great together .Her brother Hank falls for Beth ....or she falls for Him again :D .Josie and Sam wow what a ride !

This is the 1st books I read by Avery Flynn. The beginning had my interest then the story seem to focus on the sexual attraction between the characters. If this story have focused more on plot then worked into the chemistry I would read the other too books.
