Common sense book, nothing new, full of banalities.
Illustrations of not important things.
Half of the book are useless citations.

I received this book as a birthday present from the friend I will soon be backpacking with!

I thought this little book was extremely informative, whilst also being entertaining and funny in places! As someone who has never been on a backpacking holiday before, I definitely have questions and concerns about this kind of trip that were all answered in this book. :)

I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who is a first-time or repeat backpacker, the book is split into 'Before You Go' and 'On The Road' sections that are jam-packed with useful information. The book is clearly well researched; with logistical information and 'insider' tips that clearly come from personal experience.

After reading this short book most of my concerns have been quelled and I am looking forward to my trip even more! (Bonus, this book is small enough to fit comfortably inside a backpack for 'On The Road' support!)
