Zombie Lock up Series, A New Twist on the Zpoc
In book one we were introduced to the men of Pod C , Warden Gorgon, key Guards and the prison’s Doctor Shipley. In this book we have the men of Pod C and the Women of Pod D the woman’s cell block. Claudia Franchino is the “Momma” or leader of the D pod and she was approached just like Jack Turk was in C pod to keep the other inmates in check as things get tighter in Warsaw Prison, with the promise of food for the pod for a job well done. The problem is Claudia doesn’t see herself as a leader.
In book 2 We get a peek into just how off Warden Gorgon is. He places higher demands on Dr. Shipley and his two nurses Samantha & Dixie. Dr Shipley is having a hard time with the moral implication of what he as been asked to do. He and his staff are beginning to feel unsafe in the lab and with being over worked and very little sleep he fears a catastrophic incident is looming over head.
We find Pod C working together for the most part and they had a plan, however it did not work out the way they thought it would. If there was any doubt as to how far the staff and Warden were willing to go and just where the inmates rank in the food chain in the prison it was made painfully clear where they rank.
There are experiments taking place that are bone chilling. Even Muncie is unaware of, but would be delighted if he was in the know. He fakes out Doc Shipley and tells the Doc he is to report to Muncie as well as Warden Gorgon.
At the end of the book we are introduced to Sullivan a lone National Guardsman, who may be the last survivor of his Unit.
This book had more action in than the first one, and we get to know all involved a little better. We begin to see the desperate situation these men and women are in, and it is only going to get worse. Pick up your copy to find out more.
Both book one and two are short and could have easily been one book. From what I understand this is going to be a 10 book Novella series. I can hardly wait to see where book 3 takes us.
Mr.Buda has a chance at a unique story and has created a plausible reality in what the Zpoc may look like in a prison setting; he has also introduced a unique twist with the experiments that are taking place. I am interested to see where this story goes.

The laughably stereotypical characters introduced in this installment help add to the dynamic this story presented in the first book. The story takes turns and ends in a way that excites me for Book 3. At some points, I found there to be unnecessary cursing and sexual fantasies in the minds of the characters, but both give a good insight to the people you're reading about. A step in the right direction from Book 1 and setting the stage for what I hope to be an exciting series.

This book is definitely kinda weird, and definitely not appropriate for children, but it was also entertaining! Very obvious cliffhanger at the end that will make you want to read more of this very short story.

Not really my kind of book but I loved the story line and results.
