Very simple, yet inspiring and, the most important - actionable. No beating around the bush, everything is to the point, no neccessary information just to fill in more pages. Loved it and highly recommend for everyone who has even the smallest dream that you’ve been postponing.

This is a Self-help book, where author is sharing through his personal story tips on how you can start making changes in your life, if you are not satisfied with your current situation. This book contains a lot of great content, and everyone who is looking to start making changes in their lives, should buy and read this book.

This book delivers a great content, and I don’t regret spending my time reading it. I especially like that author is bringing to us steps on how we can improve our selves through his personal story.

I like to read and take tips from that people, who experienced on their skin how working hard on improving ourselves and our lives in the end always payout.

And that solutions to our problems we need to look inside ourselves, and that proceed to work on resolving them.

As for the getting out of my comfort zone and try to make a change in my life, I’ve already have experience in that. I did it multiple times, and I’ve had some success, and failures multiple times, but that didn’t bring me down. This blog is one of my journeys to a new life. For the past three years I’m searching a new ways to improve my life, to get to the point where I’m going to be able doing things that I like.

But, nevertheless, I still like to read self-help blogs and book which can help me to gain more knowledge and confidence to continue on my journey. And if you are someone like me, that this book will be great material to read, and especially for those who are just looking a way to start working on their “new future”. I encourage everyone to go ahead and read it, the book is not long, I’ve completed reading it, with pauses, during one day.

Passion, Perseverance and Planning

Doing It Scared have me great insight about how fearful I have been through my entire life. I equated procrastination with laziness but it is actually is rooted in fear. After reading this book I was inspired to change from within. The "what if I" portion inspired me to dream big and ignited my passion to take action to accomplish small goals that will help me achieve my dream. "You drive forward in what you love, and push hard to master it." I will be committed to my passion. I will take the necessary steps and make investments in myself to reach and exceed my goal and fulfill my purpose. Kudos Scott Allan. This book is amazing on so many levels.

This book was fine. I thought he referenced a lot of other books to read which was good if you're looking for more than what he was writing. He also provides tangible steps to go through if that is what you need for follow through. Downside was I found it repetitive and the writing was written in a way that I found myself glossing over words without reading them fully, but I didn't feel like I missed anything he said. I started this book when I thought I needed motivation, ended up putting it down before I could get into it. Then picked it up again just to finish it and see if there was something more. I think the premise of doing things even when we're uncomfortable is a solid one.

Basic strategies to get unstuck.

If you have never read a self help book this is a good place to start. It reads like a college kid’s notes from one of those weekend long self help seminars. There are lots of practical activities for urging a reader in the right direction. If a reader picked just one and implemented it fully they would benefit greatly. Combine a few and they could change their life.

If you've never read a Scott Allan book then you're in for a journey to face yourself, perhaps for the first time. If you're read his other books, then you know that you too will face yourself head-on, this time it's facing your fears!

"Do It Scared" takes on the task of getting each of us to face our fears, that are holding us back in work, relationships, health, dreams and more! This isn't a clinical analysis of fear with its tests, experiments, focus groups and other sterile approaches. No, this is a book that meets the reader in the trenches of very real and sometimes debilitating fears that we all face and fight against! Count on the fact that you'll be wrestling in the muck of your fears and you'll be in a very real life and death struggle to rid yourself of the control that fear has in your life! You're not alone, as Scott Allan is with you, giving you the strategies to win this battle and guidance in pursuing your dreams once you've won!

Mr. Allan doesn't just give examples of others, although there are plenty of those throughout the book. He also takes you into his own fears and shows how he overcame them, using the techniques in the book. He takes you high over the forest on a zip-line that he's tethered to, despite being scared of heights. He takes you through his fear of writing his first book and more! Written in a conversational tone that we readers need when we're dealing with raw and emotional baggage and struggles.

The book includes actionable steps at the end of each chapter that the reader can put into practice immediately, to work on the strategies shared in that chapter. If you put into practice just the steps of the first few chapters you're going to notice immediate changes, but when you do it for all the chapters you're going to find your life completely turned upside down in amazing ways!

I wish I'd had this book long before I wrote my first book, just two years ago, since I would have started so much sooner! Reading this book has pushed me to continue to reach for my dreams, like writing online courses, increasing my business reach and starting a coaching business!

I don't care what your dream is, if you're not pursuing it, then you're likely scared! That's normal, but most people never get past that part. With the strategies in "Do It Scared" you can now have the courage and strategies to finally go after that dream with power and confidence!

Get this book now and get started on the new and amazing you!

We all have fears. How we handle those fears is what separates the doers from the non-doers. In this book, Scott Allan shows us how to take our deepest fears and turn them into positive results.

There are times when we feel we are more scared to try things than other people who seem to show no signs of being afraid. “Do It Scared” shows us that as a successful author, Scott Allan also has fears. In this insightful book, he shows us how to work on our attitude and learn how to accept these fears and turn them in our favor.

This is a short book that packs a lot of powerful information.

I really love all of Scott Allan's books, but this one truly resonated with me. Fear stops most people from doing and becoming all that they want to do/become. Mr. Allan gives insight as to why we allow fear to overcome us, as well as tips and tools to stop that process. Mr. Allan has a writing style that is clear and easy to read. He infuses his book with a vulnerability and honesty that is rare in today's world. Great read - everyone can find something of value to take away from this book.

Ugh. Everything even vaguely helpful was from another book. Everything that was original to this book was nonsense platitudes or downright unhelpful. One chapter is about "Failing at What You Love to Do Best" & he cites Michael Jordan. Then he says Michael Jordan was never scared of failing at basketball. Okay. So then maybe he's a terrible example for this chapter.

It's a nice self help book, but if you have read one, you probably have read them all. It is interesting because basically it doesn't tell you that you will overcome your fear, but that you have to act in spite of it. It trumps the what but thin on the how, similar to other self-healing books.
