Precognitive, telekinetic, and precocious, Noah Griffith faces the world and all the dangers it presents to a small boy with unusual powers.
When a stormy little girl, Julie, moves in down the street, Noah finds for the first time that he is not alone in his abilities, and they become fast friends. They discover that their powers, when combined, can work a wondrous and unique magic. But is this magic a blessing, or a curse? Noah and Julie grapple with the question just because you can, should you?
With Julie’s mother dying of cancer and dangerous men out to exploit them, the two children discover just what they can--and more importantly, cannot--control.
I couldn't put it down, and those books are few and far between. I loved it. The concept was intriguing, the characters believable, and the ending quite satisfying. I'm sitting here, smiling and tearing up a little because it's over. I kept watching the progress bar on my Kindle get closer and closer to the end, and wishing it wasn't.
I wanted more when it was over. Just one more chapter, Mom, please?
“This is the perfect summer mystery. Enthralling and engaging, it will keep you guessing even until the end. The premise isn't one I've previously read, either, which is intriguing. Worth the $3 investment.😊”
