Sybil Shae has entered the time-travel romance genre with a lovely story about Keela, a young photographer,who is gifted a leather bound volume of photographs by her grandmother shortly before her grandmother's (Moira) death. Keela reviews the volume several months later is transcended back into post-war New York and as Kelly and becomes friends with a young Moira, her grandmother. The story continues, and Kelly meets other friends of Moira's and enjoys some amazing discoveries. All-in-all, a well-developed, well-written time travel romance that offers the reader a story rich with description with well-developed characters. A great read, recommend highly. Hope it is a series because after all, Timing is Everything!

Boring

By 20% which is 1/5th of the book, it remained boring and not attracting my attention nor curiosity, I just gave up. The authors wanting to get a readership should have some hook or development grabbing reader's attention not pussyfooting about. I'm done.

This is a love story spanning generations. It tells of what love might have been, what love is, and what it will always be. The story is written in flashback scenes through the eyes of present day Keela’s interpretation of her grandma’s journal she gives to her just before she passed away. The diary contains her grandma’s secret love to another man, in another place, and another time. Throughout the book, Keela is reliving snippets of her grandma’s life with the man she loved until her dying day. The scenes are touching and heart-warming, a feel good story. I look forward to the next installment in the story.

I wasn't sure what this story was when I started reading the first few pages, was it a fiction book? But I was intrigued enough to keep going and I am so glad I did!

I loved this story! It involved time travel, which when done as well as this one was handled, makes for an excellent read. Kelly is our main character meets a man in the past and a man in her present day. The story ties up really nicely, and the in-between bit is captivating. I just enjoyed everything about it, the characters, the romance and the twists and intrigue along the way!

This was a story to capture your heart and stay in your head for a long time afterwards.
