Danele Rotharmel grew up with a love of the literary word, and by age five, she knew she wanted to be a writer. However, her life took an unexpected turn when a mysterious illness brought her close to death. Eventually, she learned that a low-level carbon monoxide leak from a faulty furnace in her home was slowly poisoning her. This poisoning triggered severe chemical sensitivity and partial amnesia.

During this time, the hardest thing she faced was a crisis of faith. She had to quit her job and stop going to church. She couldn’t write, couldn’t drive, and could barely remember who she was. To say she was upset with the Lord was an understatement. She began reexamining her faith in light of her illness, and eventually, she came to the firm conclusion that God is real, God is good, God is interested and involved, and God is trustworthy regardless of tragedy.

When her illness became even more severe, she was put into quarantine and could only talk to friends and extended family through the glass of a window. This quarantine lasted for seven years. During this time, she wrote the first three books in "The Time Counselor Chronicles." The first book in the series, "Time Tsunami," was published by Prism Book Group in January 2016. The second book, "Time Trap," was published by Prism in June 2016. The third book, "Time Search," was published by Prism in January 2017. Danele's books may be purchased through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, and the iBook store.

Danele currently lives in Colorado where she continues to write. Although her journey back to health was long and difficult, it provided her with the opportunity to grow closer to God and to write her books. For that, she is forever thankful.

Time Search was another awesome read from Danele Rotharmel! This book has everything you could want in a great read: heart stopping suspense, thrilling action, sigh worthy romance, hilarious moments that will have you literally laughing out loud, and great messages of faith woven seamlessly all throughout. When I picked up this book and started reading it, I felt like I was visiting old friends. I love this series so much and can't wait for the next one!

Having read and thoroughly enjoyed Time Trap, I was thrilled to get my hands on this third book in The Time Counselor Chronicles. It picks up where the previous stopped, and with a few reminders of that part of the story, I immediately plunged into the continuing tale with almost no interruption in the action.

Though we are dealing with the same storyline, the characters who are primarily telling the story have changed; because the ones from the previous book are in hiding, those holding down headquarters take over. One of my favorite parts of this series, however, is that we still get to revisit those in earlier books, they just aren’t the focus anymore.

I absolutely loved the character development in this installment. Both Marc and Crystal undergo significant changes throughout the course of events, and because it isn’t all related to the trauma of the attacks in the previous book, it feels realistic. Life doesn’t stop because our own world goes off kilter—even when we might want it to. We continue to live, and these characters do as well. As a reader, these lighter moments help ease some of the continuous tension that the mystery keeps at a high pitch.

There are more dark elements in this book, perhaps because we view more of the action through the antagonist, who is revealed in Time Trap. Knowing motivation makes the actions realistic, even when disturbing, which it often is because this is a truly evil character. For that reason I recommend this book for adult readership; while the author draws the curtain on violence before what I would consider graphic content, it is nonetheless uncomfortable at some points.

I really appreciate the spiritual warfare component here. The Holy Spirit actively prompts actions at various points and the character's response, sometimes obedient and other times not, directly influences the course of events. Beautifully woven together, the characters may not understand the direction until much later—a faithful portrait to which I certainly could relate.

For a book where "the end” is something of a known quantity, it is about time travel after all, Rotharmel does a great job of keeping the reader guessing. Each part intertwines with the other story elements but we can’t often see how it relates until the end of the novel, and not everything is tied up neatly, either, but don’t let that bother you. There are more books to come!

This book is part of a true series—each book builds on the previous ones. Because this is the third book, I would highly recommend reading the first two before starting this installment. While the primary characters are different, a lot of the action will seem disjointed if the reader doesn’t have the back story in place. But this series is certainly ones fans of time travel stories should not miss!

I received a free copy of this book from the author but no compensation for this review. I was not required to write a favorable one and the opinions expressed are both honest and my own.

Danger Lurks Around Every Corner
A villain calling himself Drake attacks members of TEMCO and tortures them. Crystal, Marc and Zeke try to solve the mystery and learn that Drake was once a member of TEMCO under a different name. They suspect he’s out for revenge, but for what? And exactly on whom? His cruel actions bring together members as they cling to one another for support and to help each other. The danger doesn’t alter the characters’ unique personalities. In a couple instances it draws them even closer together and romance blossoms. This time travel suspense story will keep readers turning pages as they delight in the characters and search for a way to stop the evil threatening them.

Thank you to Pelican Book Group for providing a complimentary review copy. These views are 100% my own and my review is voluntary.

I feel so terrible to leave a bad review, but I had to force myself to finish this book. It definitely doesn't stand alone from the series, and it's the first one I read. There are a TON of characters, which makes it hard to keep up. (Maybe the first book introduced them more slowly?) They all tend to overreact and behave like teenagers in my opinion, though they are in their late twenties and thirties. Also, the story bounces between characters and scenes a lot. Some things were very unbelievable ...a woman who is literally a genius (spouting off absurd and obscure facts like she has the encyclopedia memorized) blames numerous happenings on her own sleep walking instead of the villain even after seeing him outside her home. Really? (I won't give more examples to avoid spoilers.) The book and movie references were way too frequent and way too varied. Almost every character participated in some of these references ranging from old classics, to contemporary to sci-fi ...I just don't see every single person being such a book and movie buff. :/ I didn't even know a lot of them, so they only served to disconnect me from the story and characters.

I can compliment the author on portraying a mentally-disturbed villain very well. He totally creeped me out. The editing was also very well done. I can't stand when there are typos or basic grammatical flaws, and I don't remember any. It was cute and clean, but I won't be reading anymore of this series.

This is as series I don't like to have to put down at all. This book opens up and quickly we are into action. A man is shredding a woman's house, she is missing. The TV is on in the house, and the newscaster is talking about a missing Dr. Ember, and his mysterious burned patient he was guarding. Looks like this is a clue to the person this man wanted dead. Who is this guy and why does he want TEMCO destroyed so badly? Was he someone he thinks they should have helped and didn't? Does he just hate good and love evil? It it really so simple as he is angry because his girlfriend is missing and he is sure they "rescued" her?

Many of the characters from the last book are in hiding, because of the super evil guy who is stalking and leaving a trail of death in his path. The new ones are all good ones to get to know, some of them were more minor characters in the last book. This series, like real life if you walked into a large work place, and the world at large, has many, many people. I really like that in this case.

This book has it all, which is hard to do! Action, Sci-Fi, romance, hate, love, forgiveness, grief, anger, the entire gambit of emotions, along with time travel, a Christian background, a clean read, a well crafted villain, and there isn't anything not to like in this book as far as I'm concerned! I love the premise of going back to be able to help people, although it would change the timeline, the way this series works it's awesome. The movie and music references are fun and it makes it like a conversation with family or friends. This series makes me wish I worked at TEMCO!

I'm happy to give this book 5 huge happy stars, and to wait for the next books in this series to become available.

Richly written, faith-filled, highly creative, suspenseful, and at times laugh out loud funny! Time Search, the newest in the Time Counselor Chronicles series by Danele J. Rotharmel is a well-paced and riveting story that grabbed me from page one and refused to let me go!

Rotharmel carefully crafts deep connections between the characters and provides the reader with a real sense of knowing each one. A clear and well-defined faith message fits seamlessly and naturally into the plot and the development of each character.

The wealth of culturally literate and fascinatingly diverse literary references offer a depth and richness to these unique and thought-provoking tales. Like a lovely tapestry, the myriad intricate details woven together in these stories will draw you in and give you food for thought long after you’ve finished the last page.

Although some of the puzzle pieces provided in books one and two are coming together in book three, we’re still left with a cliff-hanger ending and anxiously anticipating the next in the series!

Time search by Danele Rotharmel

Time search is the third book in the Time Counselor Chronicles by Danele Rotharmel

This book was very entertaining and kept me laughing. Don't worry there was still plenty of intrigue and action and yes a little love.

I fell in love with Crystal in Time Tsunami and again in Time Trap. Time Search puts Crystal and Mark as partners. Dear Crystal can sure get herself into some fixes in spite of her high IQ. They usually turn out quite humorous. Poor Mark is not sure what to think. He can't imagine how Crystal could survive in the field. In the book their search to discover who Drake might be, they learn a lot about each other and Drake.

All the Time Counselor leaders remain in hiding. We learn love and happiness can and should still be celebrated in times of turmoil.

Miss Rotharmel still has me wanting to read more. So glad she plans at least eight books. Now where’s book four?

I give Time Search five entertaining stars.

Ms. Rotharmel has cleverly woven together multiple subplots and used the viewpoints of several characters in her latest book, the third in her Time Counselor Chronicle series. She has created a tale of suspense that continued to haunt me after I reached the end. Ms. Rotharmel threads in the ongoing lives of the characters from Time Tsunami and Time Trap, but for the most part Crystal takes center stage and she is a delight. In working closely with her, Marc comes to understand and appreciate her genius. However, they are working to find the identity of the villain, a man of pure evil, and he is always at least one step ahead of the good guys. I highly recommend Time Search. It's fantastic.

Another winner by Rotharmel

The suspense builds! Will the time travelers of TEMCO be able to stop a madman before he erases their very existence?
I absolutely love this series! Danele Rotharmel makes time travel seem like taking a trip to the... well, bank. Did I mention that I love this book?
You have to read it now. If you haven't read the first two books in the series, pick them up first to catch up. It will help bring you up to speed first, but don't worry. You'll love them too.
Never a dull moment at TEMCO...

You don’t have to be a time-travel fan to love and enjoy Danele Rotharmel’s Time Counselor series. In the latest installment, Time Search, she’s got something for every type of reader. Action, good vs. evil, humor, romance, wisdom, suspense and a story and characters that will keep you engaged throughout each chapter. To multiply your reading enjoyment, I recommend you start the series from the beginning, but each book stands alone as a great read. Don’t miss this unique and satisfying story!!

Another great book by Danele J. Rotharmel. Time Search is book 3 in The Time Counselor Chronicles. There has been so much violence going on at TEMCO that it has forced a lot of the employees to go into hiding for protection of their lives. Only a select few have been left at TEMCO to find out the true identity of this mysterious nemesis. This person is determined to kill them all and take down TEMCO. Will they find out in time? Will this be the end of TEMCO? Wow what a awesome series I sure hope there is a book 4.

Only Zeke, Crystal, and Marc remain at Temco Labs, everyone has gone to safe houses. Evil stalk the city trying to find who it can destroy. Who will survive?
Danele Rotharmel's Time Search is an exquisite read that will keep you on the edge of your seat and cause you to lose sleep trying to find out what comes next. The plot grabs your attention and won't let go. I have come to love the characters and cannot wait to see what they do next. The settings are among the most unique places in the world. I found myself using Google images so that I could actually get a visual of the places. And the way Danele weaves the Gospel through the story! Wow! Anyone that loves adventure, time travel, thrillers all with a dose of romance thrown in will certainly enjoy The Time Counselor Chronicles! I do advise reading them in order. Happy reading!

Wow, this book had me at the end of my chair the entire time. It was so exciting, mysterious, and yes a bit creepy - but that's what makes a good thriller! Drake's character is so dark and twisted, but also very calculated and intriguing. I was on the hunt for his real identity just as the others were. Danele did such a wonderful job in writing this dark horse. You could see into his mind at times and almost understand where his thinking was coming from.

Let me just say that the first scene between Drake and Gerald had my hairs standing up! I couldn't read the sentences fast enough, and this pace continued as I read the entire story. I loved the little clues here and there that the team found - they were presented in a way to keep your attention, but not drag them out too slowly. And the ending! Well, I can't give any spoilers away, but it certainly left me thirsting for more! I cannot wait for the next book to come out.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not required to write a complimentary review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This series is a non-stop thrill to read. I managed the character line-up without trying to remember who-was-who and how they’re connected. Kudos to Ms. Rotharmel for getting into the interwoven complexity of the killer’s mind, for keeping the spiritual thread strong, and for the character list and glossary at the end. I was intrigued by the way a crazed serial killer disrupted so many people’s lives. (And he still hasn’t been stopped.)

This is the third novel in an exciting action-packed time-travel series. If you haven’t read the first two after reading Time Search you’ll want to and when you finish you will be anxious for the fourth. The author has created one of the most frightening and disturbing villains I have ever come across in a story, but fortunately the cast of heroes and heroines is well crafted and all are positive role-models you can’t help but cheer for. The complex plot and suspense kept me on my toes and left me wanting more. I would have to say this author has created her own special niche, if not her own genre – Christian romantic suspense sci-fi. Wow!

This third book in the Time Counselor Chronicles is outstanding. Events set in motion already from the first book swing like Poe’s “Pit and the Pendulum” across Time Search. A case of counseling ripples gone badly wrong take the time counselors by unfortunate surprise. One foe from the past vows revenge as he patiently and coldheartedly works his way through time to set himself up in prime positive to exact his brand of punishment on those who separated him from his girlfriend. We’re not given much more to go on, and the author takes us on a thrill ride as her villain stalks the TEMCO agents, taunts federal agents, and leaves death and the nearly dead in his wake.

The thread of forgiveness, faith, love and hope runs through all of the stories, and is shown with precious clarity in several of the storylines. One huge question for thought is, if you know something bad will happen to someone and you have the power to prevent it but at great cost to others, what would you do? Likewise, if you knew someone could have prevented an outrageous attack but didn’t, what would it take for you to forgive? I love those great juicy chunks of food for thought.

At first I was going to write that readers can pick up a Time Counselor book in any order, but the cliffhanger at the end of Time Search made me change my mind. This is also the first book that I felt at home in, and where the characters felt familiar. Therefore I do recommend reading the books in order to learn about the setting. You cannot be a stickler for complexities of time travel or any “rules” of physics, however—suspend your disbelief to have a jolly good time. The cast is large and complex, but distinct. Pair a quirk with a name and you’ll do fine.

Told in multiple viewpoints and often in very short segments, readers who like contemporary stories of thrill, crimes, romance, forgiveness and faith in a series like Steven James’s Bower Files, but with more biblical reference and funky characters, will like these books.

All I can say is, “WOW!” The author’s premise of being able to time-travel “to intervene in the lives of troubled individuals before they commit suicide or embark on a career of crime” makes this a fascinating book! Not only did I thoroughly enjoy this book, but it made me feel like I have visited and learned about so many new places, besides also learning so many new things like types of rabbits, fictional words, Moroccan food & customs, and unusual phobias, just to name a few. And then there’s the wonderful, wonderful nuggets of wisdom like: “When we allow bitterness & unforgiveness to have a foothold in our spirits, it destroys us.” And: “The fast-forward button was a Christian’s greatest friend.” And, my favorite: “You can control your waking thoughts & once you get them under control, your sleeping thoughts will fall into line, too.” These are just a few of these wonderfully wise jewels which helps make this book so incredible! Along with these is the comforting theme of realizing how valuable & infinitely precious we are to God, even in the midst of what might seem to us as horrible tragedies & wrongs. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this book to ANYONE!

Temco is in trouble! A sadistic and vengeful killer is stalking its members. The counsellors have gone into seclusion, leaving a bare bones lab crew of Zeke, Marc, and Crystal to unravel the mystery of Drake's identity and identify his primary target. Ms Rotharmel weaves such intricate plots and layers of action that she leaves our minds spinning. Yet she steals our hearts with her marvellous characters. My favourite is Crystal who takes centre stage in this episode of the Chronicles. Crystal is the super-smart, super klutzy lab tech whose escapades play havoc with her social life but endear her to the reader. Crystal and the lab crew race against time to save Temo and its counsellors. I can't wait for the next in the series!

If you enjoy reading suspense, you will LOVE this book! I've spent the last few nights reading it for longer than I should have; I simply couldn't put it down. As the third in the series, Time Search perfectly continues the story in a way that allows you to follow it with ease even if you haven't read the first two. I especially enjoyed the dynamic of Crystal and Marc's relationship and can't wait to see where it leads! The only thing that might turn an occasional reader off is the sometimes idealistic (almost too virtuous to be true) morals of the men in the story. While I personally found this angle refreshing and much-needed in today's society, others may consider some of the romance scenes unrealistic. Even so, that doesn't take away from the story at all. I highly recommend it!

Once again Ms. Rotharmel has hit the mark and beyond with the third in her Time Counselor Series. This action packed novel with layer upon layer of glimpses into the lives of the TEMCO staff all blending into a splendid time travel fantasy.

While the founder and core of the TEMCO staff is sequester away with other key members, three young operatives are piecing together clues to catch Drake who has vowed to kill them.

The story, beginning in the first novel in the series, builds during this current episode into a surprising ending.

I’m waiting for the next one – hope it’s soon.

Wow, this was exciting book, 3rd in the series and you will want to read the whole series. They are some on the hideout and some trying to figure out the bad guy Drake , his true identity and why he is doing all the bad things. A lot of characters but my favorite is Crystal, at times I felt so bad for her but so proud of her, she is so smart and forgiving. I am loving this series and cannot wait until the next book in the series.

This is the third book in the series that Danele has written. She has that wonderful ability to mix science fiction, mystery, and romance into a wonderful story that just keeps going. I had not necessarily been a fan of this genre until I read her first book, but now I want every single book she writes. I think the woman is a genius, and I have told her as much.

This series follows a group of scientists as they try to find a murderer. This evil and demented man used to be part of the time traveling group, which makes him more of a threat. He is seeking everyone in the group to kill, but not before he tortures each and every one.

I just love how new characters are brought in to each book and the following books go into detail about the relationships that are built.

When I first began to read this, I was confident that it was a stand alone book. I believe that it would have been much easier to track the characters if I had read the first two books in the series. The author was kind by including a five page glossary in the back of the book. However, it really seemed to be more of a romance book than a time travel book. I am wondering if the books prior to this had more instances of time travel in them. If I remember correctly, two of the characters appear together in time as their younger selves and their older selves. This is not possible according to the physics related to time travel. That was one of the reasons I only rated it two stars.
Another thing that disturbed me was the unmarried couples who stayed together in compromising situations and declared that their Christian convictions would keep them from sexual temptations. Christians who feel strongly about staying pure would not put themselves into these type of situations.
If you do not care to read a book which leaves a number of aspects unresolved unless you purchase the next book, this book is not for you.
This is not to say that I think the author did not do a good job. There were many "clues" in the book in trying to discover who Drake is. They were really intriguing.
I also thought the author's explanation of forgiveness was quite good. Kudos on this part of the book!
I would like to go back and read the first two books to see how much my opinion may be influenced.

This is a new author for me. I enjoyed the story a great deal, but because it is part of a series, I was often confused as to the dynamics of character relationships (of which there are many). And while it ends with a satisfying discovery, it was NOT the end of the story, which sort of bummed me out.

It took me several chapters to get into the story, probably because of jumping in mid-stream of the series. I highly recommend getting the first two books before trying to delve into this one.

If you like sci-fi/fantasy/time travel stories, I do recommend this series (though I've only read the one book). It is clean and well-written.

~I received this book from the author/publisher for the purpose of review, which was not required or compensated in any other way. The above is my honest opinion.

This is one of the stories you finish and all you can say is WOW! This is the third book the Time Counselor Chronicles Series, and although it can be read as a standalone I certainly would recommend reading the first two books which set the stage for this one and are really good ones too. The author has included just about everything in this book from edge of he seat suspense, romance, some humor and faith and written another one that you won't want to put down. It was really a delight following the relationship between Crystal and Marc develop throughout the story. I wasn't ready for the story to end, and the author has certainly left me wanting more. This book as well as the first two books in the series are definitely worth moving to the top of anyone's to be read pile.
