On February 14, 269AD Valentine was beheaded by Emperor Claudius because he would not deny his Christian faith. This short, (5-10 minute read) tells about the man, the times and culture he lived in, and the progression to our modern day celebration.

Very informed this author is now one of my favorite.I love reading true stories.Some of the facts he told, I never knew or heard of thank you for writing this so wonderful book.
This book seems a bit under- researched although I am not in a position to say how much material is out there to research from. If does however give you a good idea of the legend of St. Valentine
