When her dreams of becoming a ballerina were quashed by early-onset klutziness, Diana Duncan took up the safer vocation of writing. Her first thrilling masterpiece—written in orange crayon—was titled “Perky the Kitten,” and became an instant bestseller with her grandparents.

Her childhood growing up as a military brat gave her ability to leap into a conversation with anyone, anywhere, anytime…and she always discovers a new friend in the process. This gift of gab perfectly equipped her for a career that involves making stuff up.

Di is famous for using seven words when one will do. She wields smart-assery like a samurai sword, and will be the first to volunteer in a catastrophe. Of course, she was probably the one who caused the catastrophe.

She’s fiercely loyal to her friends and family…but in the event of the upcoming zombie apocalypse, she won’t hesitate to use them as human shields.

She loves her job as an author, and claims writing is the most fun she’s ever had while wearing her sock monkey pajamas. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, and adopting abandoned curbside furniture to refurbish into treasures.

Di loves to hear from her readers. Write to her at writedianaduncan@msn.com Join her on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/dianaduncan1 and feel free to stop by and ogle her kilted hunks on her website http://www.dianaduncan.com

Lethal Attraction is Grady's story, he's the youngest, former army and SWAT and a paramedic. He was the one affected deeply by his father's death and carries a lot of baggage from it which keep him running and giving into the feelings he has for his childhood buddy Sabrina.

Sabrina has loved Grady forever, they were partners in mischief when they were younger but Grady changed after his father was murdered and joined the army.
And ever since his father's murderer was indicted he has been AWOL, but he comes to her place right before she is about to be shot by two men demanding that she turn in what her now dead senator grandfather sent her. He tries to protect her but Sabrina tells him to leave, if he is going to go running again.

Grady as she finds out has been working for some organization these past few months, trying to out-run his demons and trying to prove that he is fearless(and no longer the kid who puked when he saw what was left of his father). Sabrina doesn't understand why Grady runs away from what thet could be but he does open up later and Sabrina makes him realize that not everything in life can be controlled and that he is not God.

I enjoyed the book, the family moments, the shared history between these two and how Sabrina turned up the heat and Grady tried to fight it. The suspense element was enjoyable as well.

At first, Grady is so headstrong that I want to hit him. How can he let Sabrina waits for him so long but keep on leaving her! As the story continues, the hero and heroine's relationship touched me so much, and I get emotional esp when Sabrina infected with the virus, Grady would rather die with her than stay alive. I love this book!

What a ride this series has been.. every harrowing scenario imaginable was thrown at at the O'Rourke brothers and their strong women. I truly hope the author writes some of the secondary characters stories one day.

So Sabrina and Grady are interesting. I confess that I spent the whole book wanting Sabrina to have some pride because Grady was treating her like an asshole. That said she's a really strong character. She takes Grady's crap but in the end she doesn't stand for it. I appreciated that about her. She is brave even as she is terrified. She knows that something shady is going on but she doesn't know what. Things become even shadier when Grady shows up just in time to save her life. She's rightly suspicious of this.

Grady is a major tortured soul who refuses to have a conversation about his feelings and keeps giving in to the temptation that is Sabrina while acting like an ass when he rejects her. She's like family to him and his family embraces her as such. This story includes a lot of emotional family processing of emotions which I loved.

This book was my intro to Diana Duncan and I will be reading future books by her.

There was a ton of swearing and sexual content in the book. I put it down.

My favorite O'Rourke!

Diana Duncan has been a must read author for years because she makes her readers invested in her characters. Survive the Storm is a shining example of her writing skills. I have loved each one of the O'Rourkes as they found their HEAs. Grady and Sabrina are hands down my favorite couple and that's an accomplishment. Sabrina never gave up on Grady while he worked through his stuff. I don't want to give up too much information because I don't want to spoil the journey of discovery for others. My advice to anyone who wants a terrific experience is start with the first book and fall in love with the entire family.

Really liked the premise and the book was pretty good. I did get annoyed that the H had the "I can't love anybody or they will get hurt" cliche going on. Some of the action seemed pretty outrageous too. I really loved the conversation the H had with his brother about his fears and this book had some great dialogue. Overall, I would recommend it.

While the premise of this one was a bit more farfetched, I do adore Duncan's writing and she managed to make almost all of it believable. Powerful emotions from h/h as well as all the secondary characters. Nice to revisit the O'Rourkes again in the last installment.

I Was Hoping This Wasn't The End!

This series is definitely the most heartwrenching, heartstopping, and heartwarming! I am so glad that everything worked out!

Can't wait to read the rest! Thanks Diana!

Entertaining and full of suspense. The romance is in the background most of the story, giving it a well-rounded suspense storyline. A quick read with an intriguing Irish family in the center of it.
