In my reading I felt the author touched on some major points ie..did you know that critical thinking can help you be objective? After you have listened to and had the opportunity to process what you hear then your conclusion is normally one that is reasonable and objective. I can understand that as we often are quick to speak. The author takes the time to break down information such as being able to identify hindrances to critical thinking as well as the make up of a skilled critical thinker.

Ok Book.

From the point of view of a 44 yr old, semi-optimistic male in trades (I feel like reader background can also be relevant, to any review): I was let down by this book. It had some good points, but I was looking for a list of specific actions to help improve, or exercise my critical thinking skills. I feel that this book could've been shorter, for the amount of info that it contained.

I can't say that I gained much knowledge from reading this book. It would have been better if the author would have used more illustrations to show how to use critical thinking in problem solving.

I was hoping for a few more examples rather than just one or two near the conclusion of the book. It lists the benefits and general explanation of being a critical thinker but does not provide specific information on how to do so.
