I have always loved Lori's doodle quilting, watching her at her blog for several years, and this book of hers is fabulous. I really love having a printed resource of very well-presented instructions for her designs, accompanied with tons of photos to make everything clear so that we can also get in on the fun of mostly free-form pictorial quilting. The spiral binding is perfect. I'm looking forward to trying a lot of these out! Great for domestic and longarm quilting.

I got a new sewing machine last year that is supposed to machine quilt wonderfully. Having hand quilted for decades, jumping into home machine quilting has been daunting, but this book explains everything well and has lots and lots of designs to try. It will be my jumping off point, and I plan to work through all the designs in it as I learn to machine quilt with my home machine. If it works out as well as I hope, I'll up the number of stars. :)
