A four man unit brushes up against Mason and his 'Keepers' unit. Sparks fly from the beginning as not one of the men are looking for romance. But there's no choice - cupid has a soft spot for SEALS and he's lined his sights up on Devlin next. :)

The right place at the right time… or the very wrong place…

As part of a group helping to training Afghan soldiers, Devin is doing additional training on how to use the latest drones. But when a murder is committed on the base and suspicion is thrown on the drone’s designer, he can’t stop himself from helping her. When they return stateside, another employee in the same company is murdered. Once again suspicion falls on the designer. And as tension climbs, Devin wonders who will be next…

Bristol didn’t want to take her latest drone models to Afghanistan, but she was behind schedule and her bosses were pushing.

Then disaster strikes, and she’s the one everyone blames. She loses her research and her best friend, and now she’s determined to find out who did this… no matter how dangerous it is.

The killer isn’t done. He got what he wanted but there’s more that he needs… and he’ll kill to get it. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time…

This was a great addition to the both of the SEAL series that Dale Mayer is currently writing. While technically it is part of the SEALs of Honor series since Devlin is still an active duty SEAL, it had plenty of cross over from the characters in the SEALs for Hire series featuring retired SEALs. Either way, it was a very enjoyable story. The book features characters from previous series entries, but it can be read on it's own.
Even though Devlin is certain he doesn't want to be like one of his friends and get involved with a long term relationship, it doesn't take long for him to change his mind after meeting Bristol. Protecting and then rescuing Bristol turns into so much more than just a job. Strong characters and a steady plot made this a book that you won't want to put down.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

**ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW**

Absolutely loved this addition! So far Tesla was my favorite female lead but Bristol is definitely giving her a run for her money. Just as smart as Tesla, maybe a bit more. Witty, strong and a no nonsense attitude, I loved her character!

This was engaging from the very first chapter though I will admit these damn criminals just plain suck at kidnappings! I mean I'm glad all the good guys make it, but damn it wouldn't kill these criminals to pull off a kidnapping that lasts more than twenty minutes! That's fucking hilarious! They're not criminals....they get caught!

Overall this was definitely a page turner, we get to see old characters make reappearances and get to meet new ones! That's always a plus! The great thing about this series are the women, yeah they tend to get kidnapped, quite often, but they are not wallflowers! They are super intelligent women, possibly smarter than their men, and they don't cower, no matter how scared they are! Now if they all can learn how to kick ass, like Ice, this series would be fucking perfect!!

You would think 12 books in they would run out of things to write but SEALS of Honor: Devlin is just as good as the other books in the series. Okay this isn't the height of literature but it delivers exactly what it promises. We have our happy endings. We have cute guys running around being heroes. We have the added bonus that the damsel in distress is super smart and saves herself most of the time. We have some action and the bad guys getting their just desserts. So it doesn't have twists or surprises but when you have have had a long week and you want to escape to another world where there are good guys, that seem to be hens teeth in this world, are running around every where then this book is perfect.

The story starts off with Bristol in Afghanistan there to teach some soldiers how to use her new drones. Of course this is where she meets her SEAL: Devlin. He like most soldiers has sworn off romance and is only thinking about going stateside and starting a new life.

Devlin is hooked right from the start though he doesn't seem to mind so much. He is just a good guy that helps out a pretty girl that has just lost a friend. I love that he doesn't take advantage of this and is just there as a friend. I think that is when I fell in love with him.

Bristol is super smart. An engineer she can't stop upgrading and inventing things. In the end she even manages to save herself though she likes to lean on Devlin when she can. I like that she is an independent woman and yet she wants Devlin. She doesn't need him to rescue her but she likes it when he does. This is the kind of woman I want to read about.

SEALs of Honor - Devlin

This is another amazing adventure of the Keeper SEALs of Honor when Revlon finds his true love Bristol while in Afghanistan who had done a drone demonstration. Her tent and assistant Colleen went up in flames after the show and her life was now in danger. She was the engineer who designed these amazing drones and she had to fulfill a contract for fifty drones with the deadline fast approaching and she was under the gun for completion. If she did not honor this contract it would bankrupt her and people were out to make her fall. Revlon was by her side protecting her and the rest of his DEAL unit were taking there leave to help her out once they got back to the States which Mason his unit's leader arranged for them. Once they got back to her estate their goal was to complete the requirements of this contract and stay alive at the same time people were hacking her system and kidnapped her and her father. They were able to locate them using her drone and the trackers that they had embedded in their arms plus Tesla, Mason's wife and the SEALs saving them. Revlon and Bristol fell in love and now he was a member of the Keeper SEALs and happy as can be. With them all working together, the SEALs, the security company Levi formed with Ice and Tesla they met her contract deadline. This was such a romantic suspenseful story and I am looking forward to the next release.

*voluntarily and honestly reviewed the ARC I received from Maxwell Author Services*

Loooove! I didn't think I'd love another installment more after Brett (the last one) but wow! It feels like I'm falling in love with this series all over again. The writing really clicked with me, and the whole experience of Bristol's home and the work she literally brought home was exciting. The Seals are used to their fair share of extremely intelligent and successful women, but with Bristol, they're dealing with a designer of all the fun toys they only wish they had.

Devlin was adorable. Scarily cool with his military self and efficient but still somehow manages to be cute with the way he kinda just gravitates towards her. Bristol was cool, too. I loved how much of a workaholic she was because she honestly was passionate about it. Though it was work with a lot of pressure to get certain things done, she still worked long hours because there was always more things to improve on. I love that kind of mentality and seeing all the guys come to help her out just made things cooler. It's a must-read recommend if you love military romances (though the romance was a little more subtle but still nice) with action and suspense and a bit of mystery solving on your part. Totally amazing.

Espionage, underhandedness and betrayal are just a few of the things happening in this book. It starts with a training practice on some new drones in Afghanistan, but the builder of said drones is up against the clock trying to get a big order ready but for some reason things keep cropping up that put her further behind. What follows is full of suspense and mystery, a roller-coaster ride of events to keep you glued to the pages not wanting to miss a moment. As always these guys step up to not only help but go above and beyond the call of duty, not just that but others are also drafted in to help. Devlin is the first to step up, he is protective and caring of Bristol supporting her throughout. The attraction builds but is mostly kept at bay because of everything else that's going on, but small touches and kisses on the temple, hugs gradually build. It was great reading and getting all the various groups working together is definitely a bonus, all their various skills come in very handy. Fantastic read as always.

Nothing like a fire to disturb a Military encampment. One that has a body.

Devlin and 2 others from his team as well as Mason four of his men are here for training on some new drones. Devlin is particularly interested in talking to the engineer who designed them.

Bristol is on a deadline, one that has been seriously impacted by this training. The company buying her drones insisted on this exercise and refused her the time off, so she was working on the project as well.

Devlin has been by her side since she identified the body as that of her friend and assistant Colleen. Mason also gets involved since she is one of Tesla's best friends.

I love how so many SEALs come together to help Bristol.

Devlin is now finding the meaning of Mason's 'Keepers' and he only had a brief encounter with that team.

Plenty of tension as their investigation turns up more and more issues, lots of suspense and intrigue as well. Bristol and Devlin manage some romance and the heat definitely flames up in more ways than one.

I love this book and this series. I am starting the next book now.

You know how you think after so many books in a series it has to start being same old same old ... definitely not in this series !!
Bristol is smart and driven however under attack by someone who wants her to fail unfortunately for them Devlin has decided to take a liking to her and not only he, but also some others from his Team as well as the Hero's for Hire will make sure she gets her job done and stays safe ... well hopefully!
This book was choc full of a great full story as well as characters you really connected with and some very thrilling and intense times. There was no breather while reading, you just kept turning the page to see what would happen next. The whole technology side to the book also added even more to the story as well.

I can't wait for the next book!

I was given a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review for The Assassin's reading reviewing group.

Devlin is in Afghanistan helping to train the Afghan soldiers and is doing some additional training on the latest drones but when a murder is committed on the base and suspicion is thrown on the drone's designer he can't stop himself from helping her. When they return Stateside another company employee is murdered and again the designer is accused of committing it. Thing is Bristol never wanted to take time off her schedule to take the latest models to Afghanistan she finds herself without her notes, her best friend and now is being unfairly accused. Can Devlin keep Bristol alive, her business alive and her reputation intact?

This was a sweet story showing how the Seal family pull together to help each other (and those they love) to thwart the bad guys and let the truth speak for itself. I loved the way the relationship between Devlin and Bristol built up to something far more meaningful. Well written and very enjoyable, this had a lovely HEA at the end.

Devlin is not looking for love but it certainly finds him but of course not at the most opportune time! He is assisting in the training of Afgan troops when he meets a beautiful drone designer named Bristol. Her work has been sabataged and now someone is dead. She is made to look guilty but with Devlin and his teammates on her side, the truth will come out.

She and Tesla are good friends and between she and Devlin reinforcements are called in to help her complete the job. They are faced with kidnapping and other problems. Ice makes an appearance in this book as well as two others from Levi's security agency.

This was a fast read full of action and hot Navy Seals. Bristol is one smart lady and it's easy to see why she and Tesla are good friends.

This was a great story and I look forward to reading the rest and watch them fall one by one. "The Keepers" are aptly named for sure!

Devlin and the rest of his team are in Afghanistan getting ready to train on some drones and they are all pumped up for their training session. That is when Devlin met Bristol and her assistant Colleen training the men on the drones. Then all of a sudden "Fire!" And it was the tent that Colleen was, working on the drones, that her and Bristol shared. The tent was burnt, Collen was killed, and Devlin went to Bristol's aide, he just couldn't leave her alone. And so it began. This is one of the best ones that I have read by Dale Mayer, and the series only gets better. You have excitement, action, thrills and love. What more can you ask for. I could not put the book down and read it in one sitting. Bravo Dale! I give it Five Huge Stars.

>Book review - Devlin

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 12th book in the Seals of Honor series and ends with an HEA. Devlin is a Navy Seal in Afganistan for a drone presentation. The drone's inventor, Bristol, is a genius. The descriptions of the things her drones can do and the high tech advancements were incredible to read about.

>Once someone starts to sabotage and attack Bristol, Devlin steps in to help. Most of the Seal gang is back and helping Bristol and Devlin deal with the unknown attacks. There is a lot of action, mayhem, kidnappings and shootings. All of the action and the romance make this book a fast, exciting read.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the story 5 stars. This series keeps staying solid and fun to read.

I have loved every book in the 'SEALs of Honor' series. 'Devlin' was no exception. The storyline was fast paced, full of action and kept me glued to the pages. The way it played out was awesome. Devlin was another Seal that refused to believe he would ever be a Keeper, but that didn't work out the way he thought. The characters are bad-ass and hot as hell Seals, non military types and all around great people. Bristol was a fierce, headstrong, independent powerhouse that turned bad-ass when needed. I loved her personality. The way she said what was on her mind and took charge was amazing. I can't wait to read more. A definite must read.

The hero in this one was feeling left out, but he was ok with it as well. He and another small group attend some training. The session starts and he is drawn to one of the instructors only to find she's the developer as well. There was an accident/murder but no one knows who did it. The other problem was the delay in what's destroyed and getting everything done on time. Our hero doesn't want the heroine to fail, so he sends out a help message a few times but can she get everything done on time?

The heroine has major problems with control. However the chemisry was pretty good and the story kept good pace. The story has some surprises which is well. I can't wait to rea the rest.

Bristol builds drones. She is in Afghanistan to give a demonstration. She doesn't have time for this since she has a contract to fulfill. Devlin is in Afghanistan to help train soldiers. In the meantime, there will be a demonstration on drones and he can't wait.
This contract is everything for Bristol and there has been nothing but problems from the start. Someone is sabatoging her work. Now her friend is dead. A vital piece of her equipment is missing and all the extra parts she had for the demonstration are burnt. Devlin asks Mason to arrange transport back.
Devlin has called in some favors. Hopefully with everyone's help, she can fulfill the contract.

I love this series and it keeps getting better and better. It has been nice to see Devin grow up so to speak through out this series and to have his own story was great.

The book features some past characters which was nice to see again.

After meeting Bristol it doesn't take too long for Devin to come around like his brothers and want a long term relationship. She didn't want to even come to the training to begin with. From rescuing her and protecting he falls hard. There are some twist to keep the reader on their toes.

Devlin

WOW! Another exciting story. Devlin said he never wanted to fall in love. Along comes Bristol and things changed drastically for Devlin. Bristol is a genius in her own right but when the company she has a contract with for her drones starts sabotaging her work, Devlin, along with his team and other friends come to help Bristol, she can't help but be grateful. It's sad about her dad to dementia hits hard, Bristol throws herself into her work. I love Bristol's toys. I am happy these two found their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Dale! I would recommend this book.

I've read many of Dale's books and I keep saying it's my favorite but everyone she's written is my favorite I don't know she does it but she's done it again with the action and romance of Devlin and Bristol story you can't go wrong when you read one of her books. Devlin is a member of the seal team and sent to Afghanistan and is on the base doing some training with some new high tech drones and never thought he'd meet the woman who'll steal his heart. It's another must read.

Devlin is in Afghanistan with his team doing a training with drones. Bristol is the owner of the drones and one of her coworkers has been murdered. Someone has compromised her software and sabotaged her drones. With a contract for the drones looming can Devlin and his team help her fulfill her contract while keeping her safe and find who is trying to ruin her new company.

I read this book in a box set. This is an amazing series. Devlin's and Bristol's story keeps you on the edge of your seat. Love reading books with a heroine that just needs a helpful hand but knows what she wants when she finds her mate. Love the brotherhood in this book. Always nice to see other Seals of Honor and what they are up to. Can't wait for the next instalment of Seals of Honor.

Topic with the drone and their function was interesting. Having the other Seals and others like Testa and Ice join in, was an added bonus to the story. The middle part fixing of the drone and hacking into her service got to be
too long, repetitive it seemed. Overall good Series

Editing?

Was this book edited by someone who has kept up with the series? Swede is engaged to Hawk's sister. But her name is Eve, not Mina. Eve's best friend; who is engaged to her brother Hawk, name is Mia.
