Single mom and journalist, Olivia Cisneros, gets a little help from her friends when she decides it’s time to get off the couch and start dating again. Navigating the bumpy terrain of modern romance is aided by weekly “cake therapy” sessions, and soon Olivia finds herself rediscovering the woman she was before becoming Mom to adorable princess-in-the-making, Pia. With the help of a few slices of cake and some not-so-gentle nudging from friends, Olivia finds herself in a romance she never saw coming. All it took was a little Cake Therapy.
Fun story to grab and read while sitting by the pool! I really enjoyed the story line and it had me wanting more! I will not go into detail, being a novella and all! Enjoy chick lit? You'll love Cake Therapy!
Writing not great, storyline meh, can't even be called a novella because there were barely any plot twists and the ending was unsurprising and barely satisfying.
One one of the cutest and sweetest romantic novella's I read. The most important reason behind me, reading this book is, it was full of cakes. I love cakes as much as I love reading. Olivia the Protagonist of the story, a single mum, with a beautiful daughter Pia. She enjoys her work life, while her boss Tami becomes her closest friend. When Henry joins the office, Olivia thinks that it is the end of life. But ends up in falling in love with Henry. All this on happens with a little bit of cake therapy. Loved the novella very much. Got the book from Amazon Kindle store for free. Loved all the details, and specifically the cakes. A cute Romantic novella, well written.
This was a quick, sweet, clean read. If you can get past the spaces before and after each apostrophe and the frequent words without spaces between them, it’s an enjoyable read.
This book was great . I felt i Like I couldn't put it down. The only thing I can think of to make it better is a longer story. The connection between Henry and Olivia was magical and he was so sweet to her daughter. The only thing I was surprised about was the friendly relationship between the ex husband and olivia but overall one of my favorite.
