Horsfall marries real-life collage with bold expressive images and cheery verse to portray the beguiling life of bull terrier, Max - or as he believes he is called, NoMax! This is a delightful and funny look at the way perception can colour our lives, not just a dog's. Max's lovable naivety fills this story with delicious irony and heart.

This is the story of a happy dog named NOMAX! He cares for his owner and does all sorts of things to make his day better: rip open his newspaper, clean his plates, fluff up his pillows so all the feathers are right there. This is a fun read for pet owners and enthusiasts alike.

NoMax! is the story of a lovable dog that enjoys every moment of his day. Whether it’s fetching slippers or working in the garden, this well-intentioned pup is just trying to help. So why is his master always calling him NoMax?

Written for children aged 3+, this was an instant favorite in our household.
