*****Standalone Romantic Comedy with a happily ever after.
Allie Able is a romance writer, who tries to juggle her time between being a mother and a author. Allie was raised in a small town in Mississippi and now resides in Florida. Reading and writing romance has always been her first love. She decided to pursue her dreams of becoming a writer full-time, when the characters dancing around in her head wouldn't stop demanding her attention. Now she can be found sitting at her desk, feeding her coffee addiction, as she creates heartbreaking romance with spicy ever afters.
This story requires perseverance. The authors should have structured the story differently. I think many readers probably give up about 40% of the way through and I don’t blame them.
The majority of us who do not end up DNF’ing, find a rare gem. This was a very funny story.
Cass is sick of dating losers and decides to make a list. The first half of the story is outlined by this list. Each chapter Cass introduces us to her requirements. During this list we meet the hero, but we don’t realize it until later. After she goes through the majority of the list, the story really starts (IMO). We finally get the romance and funny chemistry between Cass and Jase.
I didn’t enjoy the ending and the outline could use some work, but I’m glad that I endured.
OMG! I have to say authors Allie and Becca are quite a power duo. Woot!!! Beautifully written, unique ideas but what I love most about this book is the authors’ sense of humor – I imagine they are two good friends just having a ball writing this book and it definitely came through to the readers.
The first part of of the book was about a list of “must” qualities that Cass wants in a man learning from her past dating experiences. Cass was giving us an insight into her dating history and it was freaking hilarious. Some was funny and others were straight up disastrous. I laughed so hard I cried. I think what Cass went through is probably not far from real life – I kissed quite a few frogs to find my prince and some of the guys the author described fit the description :). The second part of the book was about Cass meeting the man of her dreams. It’s true when people say you most likely will find the one when you least expect it – and let me tell you Jase is SWOONY and perfect in every sense of the word. I LOVE Jase. He so sweet, considerate, sexy and super dreamy. The things that he says and does for the woman he loves??? Gahhhh!!! Panty dropping worthy… I want this man for my own I also adore Cass. She is beautiful, smart, and so quirky. She suffers from a case of diarrhea mouth but that makes her honest - she makes me laugh so hard. Cass has an endearing quality and I think that is what Jase loves most about her. I think the authors did an amazing job with the chemistry between two characters – sexy, steamy but also innocent and sweet. They are truly likable, adorable characters. LOVED IT!
This is one charming second chance/rom com/childhood crush romance filled with humor and sexy moments - you do not want to miss it. A perfect read for a relaxing day, curled up, with dessert and tea. At least that was my experience. Totally devoured it. I am super excited to read about Emma next.

This book was amazing I love everything about it , it had me die laughing , have flashbacks from my past relationships , connect with the characters really well especially the heroine , made me want to write a must fit list , and fall hard for the hero I was a little jealous ok a lot jealous of Cass lucky girl . Cass was a dream h she was funny , had a back bone , and she was quirky , I also loved her little dog what she calls him had me busting a gut every time the dog was mentioned made me silly grin who am I kidding I had a goofy grin through this entire book . The hero was just fine with a capital F was pleasantly surprised to see who it turned out to be he hits all her buttons I mean check marks on the the list he's funny , smart , good with his hands , and a dirty talker that will have you grabbing you're favorite toy or lover or both he also has a surprise that had me drooling and blushing . The chemistry between the two is off the charts hot they had witty banter , a lot in common , and you can fell the electric pool that they have from first meeting and lets not forget the super hot sex . I'm such a huge fan of Becca Taylor have to read all her books this would be my first read from Allie Able and now I must read all her books like right now . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero = 10+ heroine = 10+ secondary characters = 10+ chemistry = 10+ steam = 10+ character development = 10 pacing = 10 enjoyment =10+ writing style =10+ storyline =10+ romance =10+ darkness level =2 humor =10+ pov= semi dual but mostly heroine ending =HEA cover =10+ stars = 5+ authors = 10 + 10+ would I recommend this book =yes would I re read this book = yes would I read future books by this authors = yes
The first part of this book is Cass's "List" OMG this woman has experienced dating hell but it is hilarious to read. Each item on her list is a story within the story. You really need this background to understand where Cass is by the time Jase enters the picture. Jase is the perfect boyfriend but does he fit the list?
I love a spunky heroine that sometimes experiences diarrhea of the mouth. This is one of those books that you can't help but cheer her on. I love that we get in Jase's head too. This story flowed beautifully and held my attention the whole way through.
Must Fit The List was... an interesting read. I'm not sure I can even accurately put into words what it's about without ruining the entire storyline, haha. This was a rom-com with a happy-ever-after.
We meet our FMC Cass whom is tired of dating duds. Tired of starting over and wasting her time. [ I can relate, starting over and dating in your 30s SUCKS. ]. She decides she's done wasting time, and she makes a list of what her 'dream man' must be. If he doesn't match the list, he's out. Simple, right? Well, not as simple as you'd think! Cass' stories about her dating history were hilarious. And I'm sure most of us can relate to those complete disaster type of a date where you regret leaving the house.
You know that saying, you'll meet the right one when you least expect it? That's how it works when she finally meets Jase. One can only hope we will meet someone as romantic and sweet as Jase.
Oh WOW! Allie and Becca have done an amazing job with this book! I love it!
Where do you even start with a book that makes you laugh so hard you cry, but also has you swooning with hearts in your eyes. Must Fit the List is amazing and the Able and Taylor duo is now the Amazing Dynamic Duo of Romance. This isn’t only a romance but it should also be a handbook for girls on what not to do and a guideline on how you must kiss a lot of frogs to finally understand what you need in your Prince. Cass is tired of meeting Mr. Wrong so after another horrible date she decides to make a list. She goes all the way back to her first boyfriend in kindergarten and starts listing what all went wrong with each boyfriend. She compiles her list of what she doesn’t want and what she needs. Boy, does she have some crazy adventures in dating – from “junkie car boy” to “gassy hot dude”. But she makes it through each experience a little bit wiser. So, in the end maybe she will meet this Prince. In the meanwhile, she has a spunky best friend, Emma, that keeps her company. These two can conjure up mischief where every they go. I hope this makes every reader want to run out and read this book because you have no idea how much fun this book is and I’ll give you a small hint about the end – They live happily ever after!
If you are needing a huge rolling in the floor laughing fit you need to read this book!! Why? Because my ribs are hurting so bad right now from all the laughing I have done while reading this fabulous book. You get a full blown love story along with the huge belly laughs, silent open your mouth can't believe it laugh, and the panty melting moments that have you needing/wanting to bring out your BOB! Cass reminds me so much of best friend and Emma is so me! I could relate to this book from page one! Becca and Allie did not disappoint for sure. There writing together made this book come to life just like I was sitting in the scene with the characters. Razor is my favorite and the reference to the blue whale!! Please so not hesitate to one click this book!! It will keep you laughing and panting from cover to cover!!
Okay, did not think I was gonna like this book when I started. Turns out I LOVED it!!!
Taking a walk through Cass' disastrous dating past was absolutely hilarious (and totally relatable for me). The chemistry between Jase & Cass warmed my heart.
This book was full of laughs from start to finish, thoroughly enjoyed the friendship between Cass and Emily, and Cass's list was a hoot, I have to admit that I was happy when the "perfect" man was eventually found and the list ended, great read, recommend to anyone
Let me start by saying I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!! It was absolutely hilarious. I was reading it at work and was laughing so hard that tears were coming. Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy, but I could care less. I absolutely could not put it down. The second half is where it gets more serious and seriously sexy!
Cass has had her fair share of the worst dates possible. One guy after the other has something so completely and utterly wrong with him. It could be disgusting or just plain weird, but these guys were duds. So, she starts a journal of everything she needs in a man. Then one day, that perfect man comes along and EVERYTHING changes.
I don't want to tell you the male characters name because I don't want to give any clues as to the mystery man is, but rest assured, he is PERFECT. I fell in love with him from the start. He is the ultimate alpha male that is sexy as sin and knows his way around a woman.
These two characters hit it off so perfectly. The sexual chemistry was sinfully delicious. This book was just all.around perfect. I'm honored to have been able to review this and will now have this author a one click with no questions asked.
Must fit the list a must read five-star read. Must fit the list by Alli Able and Becca Taylor is a funny and compelling five star read. It had me laughing so hard at points I nearly peed on my man, which when you read the book you will get the joke. Grab the wine and chocolate ladies and gents as you will need it, this book is like curing up with an old friend. Cassandra Quinn or Cass to friends, and Pirate Cass for one awful summer in sixth grade when her first boyfriend threw sand in her eye, (her dating life went downhill from there). Has been unlucky in love, the only male in her life that she can rely on is Razor Quinn, the little man in her life. He’s so reliable as he comes with an inbuilt rotten guy detector and walks on four legs (He barks at rotten men; he doesn’t think are up to Cass’s level). Despite Cass’s best friend Emmaleigh Lewis Emma for short telling her she just needs to wait as the right one will come around eventually, Cass doesn’t believe her so she writes a list, and her new man must fit the list, or else it’s a no go. Emma has been her best friend since sixth grade, around the Pirate Cass time, she has always known how to help Cass, but maybe it’s time she helped herself, maybe the list will help Cass find the right man, or will history repeat itself and will she keep finding duds?
First of all, you can just tell by reading this that these authors are hilarious and love to have fun. The tales of Cass's dating life in the first half of the book are so funny, and so relateable.
Cass is a poster child for how to lose a girl in 10 minutes- the guys she is with would have me running in 5 though. No wonder she has a list because her dating history is not only hilarious, but it is completely sad. Refreshing to read bad dates, horrible experiences from the girl's point of view as most of the time it's poor guys, the girls are all horrible.
When Cass's "man" arrives in the second part he is just so perfect for Cass. I don't want to say his name and ruin anything because that little twist was precious! HE was an amazing man (character I know) and when he not only meets, but exceeds all Cass's expectations on her list she is truly and deservedly smitten. When HE makes his own list- well let's just say I love books like this- you nailed it ladies! Swoon worthy moments galore, just how a romance should be.
Besides the hot and steamy romance, I loved the humor and cringe worthy moments! Great read!
I'm going to just start out by saying that these two authors make an awesome writing duo! The writing flowed together so perfectly I couldn't tell one author's writing apart from the other. That really makes for an enjoyable read when you aren't having to adjust from one style to another constantly in the same book. On to the story now. I finished reading this book in one sitting. It was absolutely hilarious. I lost count of the number of times I laughed at loud at some of the ridiculous dating situations that Cassie found herself in. I felt so bad for her at times. I can't really say that I blame her for creating a "list". That's the thing though. Sure, we all have our own idea of what our perfect man will be like. Nobody is perfect, but you WILL find the person that is perfect for you. I really loved the twist of who Cassie's guy ends up being. He was so swoony and really was the perfect guy for Cassie.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a honest review.
Honestly I don't know what to say about this book other then it was absolutely fantastic. It was a nice, light hearted, fun read from start to finish. Cass has dated loads, but she still hasn't found the perfect guy for her. After yet another disastrous date she decides to write in her journal a list of what she wants in a man. Each chapter is titled as one item on her list and the chapter then tells the reader about a bad experience which has made her want that.
The book had me laughing from start to finish and I instantly fell in love with Cass, as well as little Razor the micro teacup poodle. You will see exactly why I love Razor when you read the book yourself.
Must Fit the List is just pure genius from both Allie Able and Becca Taylor, and a must read!
I loved this book! Becca Taylor and Allie Able are a great team. They covered every emotion with their characters. I never laughed so hard in the first part. Reminded me of my dating history. But, when Cass meets Jase, the chemistry was explosive. Treat yourself this Valentine's Day and get this book.
I'm not going to lie.... I started this book and I wasn't quite sure where it was going. I liked the stories and I thought some of them were down right hilarious. But I was missing a story. Turns out I just had to be patient!! Once I got to where I wanted to I dove right in just like I do any other book!!!
Don't get me wrong, I like the concept, in fact I love it! I always have a list of what I do and don't want in a guy. I think everyone does. And I died laughing reading some of the disasters. It was fun and I was doing a whole lot of LOLing as I was reading. But what I liked most was when Cass met her man. I won't mention his name because you'll understand why. I just know that Cass may have not had the best luck dating but she gets exactly what she wants in the end. Perfection!!
And I'm going to go a little further and say I learned exactly what Cass did. There is no such thing as a perfect man, just a man that no matter what is perfect for you. And Cade's man? He was perfect in every sense of the word. 4.5 stars all the way for this quirky but hilarious girl and her man that "must fit the list!"
This is one of those books that will have you laughing and sadly recognizing half if not most of the don'ts in the list. I decided since i had a friend who had read this to take this book with me when i was at an appointment wrong move i laughed so hard and got such looks and didn't care because it was that good. As soon as i got home i devoured the rest of this book as the humor and characters of this book wont let you put them down and i was having so much fun reading it i didn't really care. Cass starts off by showing us some of the don'ts in dating life and continues on to show that you never know what the future will bring and love can be right around the corner. there's no such thing as a perfect man just a man the will love you above anyone and anything else and in the end that's the perfect do in life. A definite great read. Cant wait to have emma's story come out.
“If he doesn’t fit my list, he’s out. Grab a glass of wine, some chocolate, and maybe even some chips, ladies, because we're taking a trip down memory lane.”
After a horrible first date Cass decides to make of list. The list includes all the things she wants a man to have. Which I’m pretty sure every woman has a list that like, either in her mind or written down. Cass goes back in time to tell you why that character/quality is on the list. So, Cass tells about every bad date or bad experience she has had with a guy.
I didn’t like this book, and about half way through I started skimming though to see what happened. What annoyed me about this book was the list, which was the whole point of the book. Some of the things on the list were totally unrealized and were a double standard. For example, must be able to carry me, knows how to dance, abs, enjoy reading. Not every guy needs to have huge muscles, or a six pack of abs, for him to be a good guy. Also, most guys don’t know how to dance, and HATE to read. So, some of the things on the list just didn’t make sense to me. Another thing is that were way too many character names for me to follow, and they weren’t the main characters that we would have to remember!
I don't know where to start with this review if I'm honest. Guess I better start but saying IT WAS AWESOME!
In,sighed pretty much the whole way through this book. The first part is going on past experiences and using these to make sure you don't repeat history. Some of those stories were hilarious and had me giggling at my kindle.
The second part is where I gets really juicy! We meet Jase. Oh boy oh boy. Alpha, protective, sexy to name but a few words to describe this man. Not only were the sexy scenes totally believable and hot, the other part of this book (like time of the month) were so completely sweet.
These two authors have done a fantastic job writing this book together and I am so hoping we get another book from them, maybe even Emma's book *hint hint*
A well deserved 5 stars from me, would highly recommend this book for people looking for a good, fun read!

Must fit the list. I really don't know how to write this review, so that the book, gets the justice it deserves, and rightly so, because this is a must read book. Absolutely brilliant read, really well written and so comical at times, that I literally laughed out loud. Brilliant piece of writing that pulled out all the stops,to make this so enjoyable. Fantastic book. Loved it.
Holy great things of comedy hilariousness! I have read everything both Allie Able and Becca Taylor have out separately and together they have created something incredible! I won't give too much away, so here I go. The first half of the book details every past failed relationship Cass has and let me tell ya, some will leave you in stitches. The second half flows into finding the man who will fit that list and it still has the same amount of humor the first part held. The flow of the book was incredible and it was difficult to tell the two authors apart, it was a wonderful surprise because both have a different style of writing but come together so well. I look forward to see what their future writing will be like together. Keep up the humor ladies, I loved it!
I absolutely loved this book. It's fun getting glimpses of Cass's past in funny little stories similar to flashbacks. I laughed a lot and even cried a few happy tears. I can't say much more without giving anything away. I'll just end with Cass and Jase being one of my favorite couples now and I'm looking forward to Emma's story.
This has to be the funniest book I've ever read. I know I've never laughed as much as I did throughout this book. I laughed so much I cried at times. Must Fit the List just set the bar high for all other RomComs!
Cass our leading lady, has had really bad luck in the men department and decided to make a list of things that make up the perfect man. Jase is a male from Cass' past who happens to collide with her present and future. The incidents that have occurred to Cass while in a date or in a relationship is absolutely hilarious! The ending to this book was perfection.
If you are looking for a book that will have you laughing constantly this is definitely your choice.
Brilliantly written!! An absolute must read!! Becca Taylor captured my attention right from page one!! I felt good reading this and it made me laugh and cry and everything in between!!! I loved Must Fit The List!! Everyone deserves their HEA with what is perfect to them!! Truly enjoyed this book!!
