Keeping Secrets

After her father was killed in the line of duty, Gwen Delaney finds herself in a new state with a mother she has not seen in years. All she wants to do in blend into the walls, but sometimes that is easier said than done.


When twins Mitchell and Rilla Radcliff decide to befriend the new girl, they also figure out about her previously unknown magical abilities, but they have secrets of their own. Mitchell wants nothing more than to push Gwen away despite being drawn to her.


Everybody has secrets. Some secrets are safe. Some secrets are deadly.


As Gwen’s trying to get a grasp on her new life and her new friends, dark forces are trying to destroy Gwen and everything she holds dear.


Can they make it through their journey alive?

Alicia J. Chumney has her B.A. in English Literature from the University of TN at Martin (2008). Since middle school she has been scribbling in notebooks, on scrap paper, even in a restaurant ticket book one time (she still has the ticket book).

She lives in Tennessee with her cat, Molly, and a stack of books that she doubts she will finish reading in her lifetime. This is mostly because she spends a fair amount of time rereading her favorite books: Anne of Green Gables and Pride and Prejudice.
