King has returned to Black Force, the special-ops division that shaped him into a one-man army.

Million-copy bestseller Matt Rogers is a prolific thriller author intent on blurring the lines between hard-hitting action and mind-bending philosophy. An avid runner and mountain trekker, he leans on real world experience to craft edge-of-your-seat thrill rides with staggering plot twists. His breakout novel, BE SOMEBODY, was lauded by IndieReader industry professionals, who praised the "impeccable writing" and "air-tight plot construction." Another exciting story about Jason King, who was working to stop 300 pounds of simtex going off in and around the pyramids in Egypt and taking care of Nasser, who had set the fuses, and Walcott, a billionaire who was masser's partner, because a billion wasn't enough for him.
No romance and the F-bomb was used 18 times.
As for the narration: As always, Roger Wayne did a great job.
Very James Bond style story and action. There was high octane adrenaline pumping action on every page. To be honest there was little story and the action scenes at places felt like page fillers but overall the book delivers what it claims in the blurb. Jason King is back from his premature retirement after the events of previous book. This one was a pure black ops thriller. King is in Egypt to investigate the disappearance of two Black Force operative, finds himself caught between an American businessman and a fanatic terrorist. After the last 2 books which were a let down. I'm hoping the series to pickup from here. Will surely grab the next one soon.
Jason is coming out of his sudden retirement and back to work for Black Force. He's tasked to go to Cairo and find two missing black force agents and resolve the latest threat the agency has uncovered, concerning a man named Nasar. What he finds is an ambush from the men he had been sent to find. The threat involving Nasar is real and all hell breaks loose. Cairo and Egypt will never be the same. Jason King is on the hunt and is also being hunted by the terrorist team. Hang on, this is a bumpy ride. Thanks for another great read.
Jason King ain't Jack Teacher, but, he could hangout with him !.
I read the first Three Jason King novels consecutively, and waited for this fourth installment. I'm a Big Fan of these ' lone wolf' Special Forces type characters, like Mitch Rapp, Jack Teacher, Gabriel All on, and such. It's heartening to know that America has Real Agents who are very like these fictional ones. If You enjoy reading about any of the Characters I've mentioned above, then You too will Love Jason King and his adventures. Now, I'm off to read Book Five in this Series.
MR. has. penned the fourth novel in the Jason King series, which contains, OK going back to work for BF. His first assignment is to determine what two other operatives have done to cause a global catastrophe. OK determined what is going on and plan s for his mission change four days before the time is set. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
The great thing about the Jason King books is they are short and you do not need to over think the storyline and plot. This book was a little disappointing as Jason was not running away from the US, but working for them. A few too many unnecessary killings and storylines that were very thin and did not have time to develop. So you will get what you expect for this book: short, action packed, many killings and not a great plot. But still an enjoyable short read.
I'm halfway through Matt Rogers books now. They are great 'holiday reads' a thrill on every page. None of it believable, but who cares, they're an exciting read. My only criticism is that I wish the author didn't repeatedly remind us of past training skills. Once is enough! But that said, they're racey and pacey. But cause sleep deprivation as you want to know what happens next!
This one book seems like it was written by a ghost author as the whole flow of the book didn’t fit with all his previous books. I for one was somewhat disappointed..
Jason King has returned to Black Force and soon finds himself back in action in Egypt. Leaving a trail of destruction, he hunts for missing agents and what a terrorist and financial billionaire are plotting. Good, fast moving book as usual, as King does things his way!!
This is a continuation of the novel that takes place in Cairo and Giza where I have been and I am thankful that I was not there when all of this happened.
Enjoyed it but not as much as the previous installment. There were some good moments, Cairo Tower being spectacular here but on the whole it was middle of the road for me. I do like Rogers though and will read more of his books.
In book 4 of this series, Jason King has returned to Black Force, the special ops division which carved him into a one-man army. As soon as he reports in, two fellow operatives disappear in Zamalek, the most affluent district in Cairo. He's back into the dark underworld to find the missing men. But what he discovers is more sinister than ever expected. A real one-man force ... a hero who never gives up, never caves in. This story is full of twists, and as the other three novels, is dynamic. Highly recommend.
Jason King scores again with another non-stop action thriller. I can't wait for the next installment. Keep up the good work. Jason King is a fantastic character to follow. Thanks.
A lot of twists and turns in this book. The two missing Black Force operatives threw me for a loop, never expected their traitorous actions. Hoping Slater shows up in another story. Isla is not as scary as I first thought. Jason is so beat up, he needs some down time which would be a good place to walk in on some terrorists planning something no good. Thanks, Amarillo Turtle
A true rock them sock them tale of exploits of an unbelievable character with all the characteristic soul-searching mental anguish in the middle of the mayhem. Good read for adrenaline thriller without much need to analyze the truth of the tale.
Matt Rogers has created a hero well worth indulging into. Jason King is a tough, lethal one man army and the perfect killing machine. This latest of the series is full of surprises, non stop action and an epic satisfying ending. I read it in two days only because I had to come up for breathe and go to work, feed the husband, stuff like that. I can't wait for more from Mr. Rogers!!
