Desired by the Bear Complete Trilogy

Rate this book
This is the complete Trilogy of Desired by the Bear and includes the following books:
Book 1 - Join the epic family saga of the Ouellette werebear clan in Safe Harbor, Canada. Four women take you on an adventure of true mate love, danger, and intrigue in the trilogy Desired by the Bear.
Nadia’s life as a model is practically picture perfect until the day werebear hunters send her running. She lands in Safe Harbor with the Ouellette clan, but Nadia knows better than to call yet another place home, and she settles in to do the one thing she knows best, fight.
Izzy’s rescue from drowning set her on a course for a fresh start as a woman capable of love and compassion. Her savior and clan alpha, Jean Luc Ouellette sealed their true mate bond to break the bi-polar curse, but when Izzy finds out she’s pregnant and experiences mood swings that are reminiscent of her past, she fears for her children.
Kelsey moves to Safe Harbor for an internship at the most prestigious boat-building company on the East Coast, Ouellette Yachts. She finds more than the start of a brilliant career when she falls for Val and discovers a family secret that opens up a whole new world. But as the truth comes out a disastrous mistake threatens to take it all away.
Tally spends her days tending to the needs of the Ouellette clan as their medicine woman, and she enjoys the perks of hunky werebear coming to visit her daily. Especially one named Marcel. But an evil force has plans for Tally that make her chance at love a near impossibility.

Book 2 - Tally's trip through the portal revealed a shocking truth and put her in jeopardy. When Tally is pulled once again she accidentally takes Nadia with her. Having just found her true mate, Nadia was hopeful she'd finally realize a peaceful destiny. Being sucked into another dimension threatens to take away the man she loves and her chance at happiness.

While Izzy works alongside Jean Luc to keep the clan safe from the hunters that loom on the horizon and deal with the aftermath of the discovery that Kelsey is Henri's daughter, Kelsey falls deeper in love with Val. But as Kelsey prepares for a life as a werebear, evil forces step in with the intent to alter her fate and destroy the Ouellette clan.

Book 3 - The Eradicators’ abduction of Kelsey, long lost daughter of the Ouellette second-in-command, is a diversion tactic that has Jean Luc and his team wondering what the hunters have planned. When Tally calls up an evil from the past, she discovers a coven of black magic witches are working with the hunters, and they pose a much greater danger to the clan than she’d realized. The tiny witch must risk her life for the clan and the future of all werebear in the Northeast Kingdom, and she needs the hope of a life with Marcel and the strength of her fellow witches and Izzy to defeat them. But is it enough, or will the hunters finally gain the upper hand in their quest to eliminate werebear once and for all?

Canadian Bears!

Another well written saga. Although, I do not care for witches and witchcraft in my books, I read this series in order to finish Nadia's journey.

The excitement was palpable. Vaughn's descriptive writing puts the reader in the scene.

Because I've read the other series, it felt as if the writing has become somewhat formulaic whereas it felt fresh and new when reading Called by the Bear. That's an unfortunate downfall and concludes my reading of this author's works.

I do love the way that Vaughn uses female villains. I love a good female mastermind. The ever present but never seen Cassandra fills the role in this series as Patricia Veilleux did in the prior two series.

If you like a great deal of magic combined in your shifter series, you will enjoy this set.

A fantastic trilogy

Desired by the Bear would be best read after the Called by the Bear trilogy. It is a continuing storyline from the previous trilogy, but it is not necessary to read it in order to understand this trilogy, although I highly suggest it. Both trilogies are fantastic, have great characters, lots of humor, mystery, and suspenseful twists that will keep you intrigued until the very end.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and terrific author.

V. Vaughn has been a one click author for me up until now.

This was one of the worst ever books. Wrong words such as is not in. Weird formatting such as sudden underlined words. At 51% I was still considering dnf'ing.

Four points of view that all read exactly the same is bad. Confusing as hell.

I'll be thinking long and hard before buying another of this author's books.

Out of all of V. Vaughn books this trilogy was my favorite. Amazing heroines. Such strong, compassionate females. I loved the plot. Very fast paced and suspenseful. This trilogy is one that is good enough to read multiple times.

What...

What an intriguing way to continue a series! I love knowing what happens after the fated mates find each other, and the involvement of additional characters and mates leading to the possibility of more stories coming.

Wait what?? I was thrown for so many loops on this series. I loved each woman's story, and how they all still intertwine with each other and the other clans. The Ouellette clan seem so down to earth! I couldn't put this series down. It was a great ending to a very good series of books starting at Called by the bear!!

I love these series of books

I love V. Vaughn books. They are hot, sexy, sexy stories of finding your true mate. The way the characters interact with family, friends & other people who come into lives is important to the plot & stories. I can't say enough good things about these books & the author. Violet Vaughn hits a homerun every times she writes & publishes a book or series of books.
