I worked with Derrick in Round Rock and UT. Some of his stories made me chuckle and sometimes I was sad when some stories reminded me of my own less than positive experiences in minor league baseball. The book could probably use a little more editing but overall, I enjoyed learning more about my friend and his life. Recommended to people who have worked in the baseball world.

I read it awhile back, I’m new to this website. Derrick is a great guy with a good heart. I learned a lot from this book, not just about Derrick and his life lessons, but also about historical events that happened throughout his life. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in working in the sports industry
