It was a really good book about messing up but turning things around. I was upset about one thing. 2 people who caused a lot of problems( and 1 clearly broke the law) never saw justice in the book. I waited to see what would happen to them and it never went back to them. Grrr.. I like seeing bad guys get punished.

What a beautiful love story! Stuart screws up badly in many areas of his life. Ends up in prison, hurting his wife, his parents and even his kids. After going through a lot in the system, he finally comes to accept the Lord. He truly becomes a different person, but after getting out, his wife, Leah has moved on with her life. I won’t rehash the last few chapters, but just perfectly written.

I really enjoy this series by Gilbert Morris. Each story has adventure, drama, humor, and romance. I really want to rate this 4 1/2 stars.

Good Christian theme throughout the book. We all have sins but we can be forgiven and our load lightened if we turn ourselves over to Jesus Christ. He died to pay the price for all our sins. Stuart's sinning life landed him in prison but when his cellmate helped him to come unto Jesus, then Stuart's life really changed. Getting out of prison was not easy. He then wanted to go around and ask everyone for forgiveness. Some people had a hard time giving him that forgiveness. It took Stuart serving them for them to see he had really changed and they then asked Stuart for forgiveness because they had not been kind to him since he had been home. Stuart and Leah ended up with a much stronger marriage after all the events happened which made a fairy book ending to the book :)

Again,never to disappoint,wonderful story that God never gives up on us,but sometimes we give up on him!! When we do find out way back to God he takes us back,no questions asked!! Family is the same way and sometimes you get distracted in this world but try to always find your way back and they take you back,that's what s called "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE"

This series by Gilbert Morris is one of my absolute favorites. Each book follows at least one member of a generation in the Winslow family tree and the member(s) gets saved and finds true love. There's also some commentary on the social conditions of the time frame. Truly interesting.

This is a good book about a married couple finding out if they want to stay married after Leah's husband gets out of jail and becomes a Christian while in in prison.
