Sent this book to a facility that doesn't have a very good library for its residents. It has been read by at least 6 people and there is a list of those that want to read it because of how much the first reader enjoyed it! It was very much enjoyed and will now be a permanent part of the ever evolving library! They hope this author continues to create amazing reads!

I read the first Laura Del book about Samantha and was thrilled to see a sequel. This starts with the humor of last time, which is needed after the opening scene. The mystery takes over and the story and the talents of Samantha are downplayed.
The author’s storytelling is still very good. The writing feels smoother too. I still look forward to more from this author.

This is my second Samantha Davidson book that I've read and this is an amazing story to follow. Unforgettable characters, funny and witty main character... Oh yeah, add in some hot guys too! I loved it. Laura Del's got a fan for life, for sure.

A psychic PI's latest case may make her a serial killer's next victim.

Samantha Davidson is a tough cookie with a surprisingly tender center. Her abilities as a medium give her access to the ultimate eyewitnesses--actual murder victims. Unfortunately, ghostly testimony is not admissible in court. Samantha and her partner, Det Lance MacDowell, invest a lot of old-fashioned police work to connect the otherworldly dots.

This time around the killings are especially gristly, and Samantha finds herself with an uncomfortable link to the killer's consciousness. What results is a scary game of cat and mouse, with the murderer getting way too close to Samantha for comfort.

The author does a great job with the ongoing development of her series characters--no small feat considering the brevity of the novella form. We get an even more emotionally complex heroine and a fully fleshed out supporting cast. There's also a wonderful balance of paranormal and mystery elements. The ghostly help is just enough to keep Samantha on track without doing her job for her. There are some "oh my God" twists that had my heart beating like crazy.

I enjoyed GHOSTLY MURDERS and am excited for a third Samantha Davidson spook-fest.

The characters in this series are phenomenal. Sam is fantastic. She's a little like Kinsey Milhone with the sarcasm and the male friends, but she's also completely unique. She's dealing with a lot, but she's handling it. Lance, Mark, and Frannie are great side characters. This was the perfect follow up to Ghosts Among Men.

The mystery kept me jumping from person to person as I tried to figure it out before ultimately being surprised. The ghosts were vengeful and well written.

The pacing is great! The humor and character building are solid. The backstory is intriguing without being too heavy.

This is the perfect book for fans of Ilona Andrews and Patricia Briggs. You won't be able to put it down!

Another cute mystery

Samantha is back at crime solving and helping ghosts find their piece. This tale brought a serial killer into the mix. It was great to see the characters again and read about what's been going on since the first one. Mark and Samantha's relationship is great and I like how it moves along throughout the story yet stays the same.
Lance her partner gets a bigger part in this novella. It was great to learn more about him and his wife Betty. Especially since they are like family to Samantha.
Overall it was another fun read by this author. I did like the first more than this one but still enjoyed the cute read.
