Pour éviter à Aya Nakanishi le sort tragique qu'elle a connu lors de la première année 1988, Satoru essaie de se rapprocher de la fillette, ce qui se révèle plus compliqué que prévu ! Heureusement, l'intervention inopinée de Kazu lui fait forte impression et permet de se diriger vers un nouvel avenir.
Hélas, c'est au tour de Misato de se retrouver isolée... Le jeune garçon décide donc de la suivre au gymnase, mais voilà qu'elle disparaît en plein match ! Satoru demande alors à M. Yashiro, son instituteur, de l'aider à la retrouver.

This volume mostly set up the scenario for the next one, the grand finale. Many pages of it were about Satoru remembering things about his past, so there was a lot of repetition of events from previous volumes. But that's fine, I still really liked it!

Vale que sea un tomo de transición para el grand finale, pero es que Sanbe tiene una idea o dos de cómo llevar la emoción de cada escena. Ese capítulo que comienza con una retahíla de pensamientos preciosa de Sachiko para después revelar el pastel con Nishizono es una genialidad que convierte la belleza en crueldad y, para qué negarlo, estoy a bordo de este puto barco de maldad. Cierto es que, la mayor parte del tiempo, la historia se siente algo aletargada, pero me parece que sabe crear el build-up del siguiente tomo con bastante gracia y que se adentra correctamente en la psique de Satoru. Además, aquí es donde la adaptación animada comienza a diferir más y me cuesta poco preferir una versión en la que la rehabilitación dura dos tomos, mucho esfuerzo e incluso una nueva recaída. Sanbe no parece abotargar su obra con tensión y drama baratos, sino que va directamente a la pausa y la reflexión mientras crea un lento crescendo. Aunque Airi nunca me ha interesado especialmente, puedo ver lo mucho que ha ayudado a Satoru y que, por tanto, exista esa amistad que tanto busca recordar el segundo. Por lo general, los momentos emocionales siguen funcionando bien incluso si personajes como Kumi parecen a medio cocer. Quizá no explote todo su potencial, pero este tomo funciona para lo que pretende y continúa con el genial storytelling de anteriores tomos.

Uno de los tomos más tranquilos con respecto a la acción, pero uno de los más emotivos hasta ahora.
A lo largo de los tomos le fui tomando cariño a la madre de Satoru, pero en este tomo? Para mi es una de las mejores mujeres que tuve el placer de leer y una madre ejemplar. Una persona en la que todos deberíamos aspirar a ser algún día.
Y, además de ese ambiente emotivo, ya se empieza a sentir esa atmósfera de tensión que nos va preparando para el gran final que se avesina.

2,5 stars but I gave three stars because it does set up the next, obviously big and exciting, things. But it was kinda boring volume compared to the earlier books. It's okay Satoru took some time to recover from his coma but the things the characters talked and thought about during the volume felt repetitive (in a dull way).

Satoru's mom is still the best mom you could ask for and Kumi was surprisingly nice character. But yeah, very little happened story- or character-wise. A lull in the flow.

To jest niesamowite, że każdy tom tej mangi jest tak dobry! Oczywiście się gorsze i lepsze, ale one wciąż są po prostu dobre. To chyba pierwsza seria mangowa, którą skończę bo został mi jeden tom (z tego co wiem 9 to jakis dodatek). Opinie o całej historii napiszę w recenzji 8 tomu i tam na 100% się rozpiszę. Oby finał mnie nie zawiódł.

The book gives you a bittersweet feeling. Its sweet since it shows the preciousness of day to day life and the bonds we have with family and friends. The connections that we make while being alive defines us and determines the path we take. Hopefully this will end with the same tone of bittersweet sensation, as I believe that is what life is all about.

I was really hoping and wishing for a good ending but "This is the beginning of a new season" is not what I expected, I really needed some justice for my peace of mind , Any way it's one of the most intriguing manga I have ever read since the Death Note, Thank you Kei Sanbe for that.

This is it, the second to the last volume.

It’s such a long journey joining Satoru Fujinuma’s adventure as he travels back in time to save the unfortunate souls murdered back in his day. Yet here we are, on a new season as they would say.

But in his case, it means reliving his past memories once again. As we all know, this is not a piece of cake, even for someone who has the power to revive a certain incident when he leasts expects it.

With that in mind, it’s up to him to figure this out on his own, and maybe even with some help from his beloved and trusted friend, Kenya as he was the one who got himself in this situation to begin with, anyway.

The scene that follows reminds me of something personal, in which my father had a similar experience regarding Satoru’s would be issues for this volume. I could at least say it was somehow accurate from how it was handled on the manga if we’re to compare it in real life, so there’s that.

I’m suddenly eager to find out how the last volume ends as this one takes another rather suspenseful turn for us (readers) to be hooked for this series.

Yashiro ini keren juga penyamarannya. Bisa jadi anggota dewan, bisa jadi rakyat biasa dan nggak dikenali siapa-siapa XD. Pasang jenggotnya itu gimana deh ^^'. Beneran psycho nih orang.

Ternyata kunci untuk membuka ingatan Satoru itu Airi, ya. Bagaimana pun di tahun 2006 kan yang dekat sama Satoru dan percaya sama dia cuma Airi aja ^3^.

Agak kaget juga pas buka segel vol. ini ternyata ada 4 halaman yang bagian bawahnya jelek >_<

Cadeau de mon grand frère, et il a tapé juste !
On est loin de la new romance mais vraiment, je pense avoir adoré au moins 6 tomes sur 8. J’ai quand même eu du mal avec les retours en arrière (je ne suis pas très fan). À part ça, beaucoup d’actions, d’intrigue, le personnage principal est attachant et a de belles valeurs. C’était un plaisir de le suivre dans sa quête de vérité. Il y a eu du suspense du début à la fin, on est sur une Happy End :)

OMG, qué loco todo lo que va pasando, encima siento que se nos viene con todo el final, y eso espero también porque, después de lo agitado que estuvo el tomo 5, como que los siguientes se me van haciendo menos entretenidos.

Por cierto, la mamá de Satoru es todo lo que está bien en la vida ♥

These characters are lovely! Kumi Kitamaru is so sweet!

This was well done! This story is maybe my favorite, if not favorite of mangas, but the drawing style is sadly as good as the story.

This was still boring sometimes, there was not happening a lot and there repeated a lot of already said things. The two last volumes are gonna be interesting!

Oh, wow. This is where the manga is completely different from the anime. I actually am really loving it! I wonder, if it will end the same way as the last episode. I guess, I'll find out.

I'm really loving the progression of the manga. I love it a little more than the anime actually! The anime is really amazing though.

I'm excited to read more to see what happens.

Le prochain tome promet d'être grandiose ! J'ai aimé la manière dont Satoru a décidé de laisser Airi (j'ai un doute sur le prénom ?) faire partie de son passé pour la préserver des événements, c'est intéressant qu'il ne suive pas un dessein purement égocentré à absolument vouloir renouer dans une réalité où ils ne se connaissent pas.

Schade, dass nichts aus diesem Band in den Anime gekommen ist. Sowohl auf der Ermittlerseite, als auch der Reha des Protogonisten oder aber der Entwicklung des Täters geben dem ganzen Plot so viel mehr Tiefe.

This volume is more relaxing, the suspense is almost none, there's still that feeling that something bad will happen, but other than that it's more like a bridge to the final battle between Satoru and the killer. Overall it's still a great read.

Un peu déçu de ce tome, la fin annonce un prochain tome intéressant mais j'ai trouvé que dans ce tome on faisait juste se rappeler les évènements des tomes précédents. Y a quand même eu les pensées de la mère et la lettre de Yuri qui ont été des moments touchants.
