Irish Heat: Claiming His Heart

Rate this book
I’m tired, Olivia. I’m tired of playing the game and never really getting the full reward while you can only play it for so long before your true nature shines through. I wonder if you’re mad because you finally know the truth about me, or is it because I’m leaving you,” mumbled Forrester.

Forced into a marriage when they were teens, Olivia never really grew up. Even now, she was still a reflection of the back biting, pompous, girl that was more focused on her social life than her family. In spite of Forrester being strong armed into marrying her years ago, he had always secretly desired Olivia whom pursued him for her own self motives. Now older, Forrester is at his breaking point. He’s willing to trade his one true love for peace and the willing arms of a more appealing, younger woman.

When dangers at home forces the couple back to Ireland, the place where it all started, and the people Olivia hurt by leaving behind, will it be enough to bring about a change in her? Can they rekindle the flames of passion? Or will their love be lost forever. With the help from their sons, Pike and Brick this love story promises to set the pages ablaze from so much… Irish Heat!

Olivia and Forrester's story. This story was a bit on the wild side, once I got over what Forrester did to get Olivia's attention regarding the state of their marriage, then the story was an enjoyable read. All the stories by this author are intertwined some how. You need to read all the couples story to understand the family.

Wow! What a ride!

This was such an unexpected twist but this sexy, grown up story was sweet as hell. Loved every minute of it. Forester and Olivia just crack me up but I'm glad they regained their fire and are now truly the couple they were always meant to be.

Yes Gray!

Can she write or can she write? I am always thrilled when reading one of her books. It never fails to make me want to read it in one setting.

Wasn't her best.

This wasn't what I was expecting. Yes Daddy Forrester is fine and the sex scenes were HOT, hence the 3 stars, but the book didn't draw me in like Ms. Gray's other work has. I felt it was also unfinished, like what actually happened that the sister's husband was suddenly on a warpath and they had to leave America for their homeland? Why didn't Olivia's father show up to the festivities and at least try to rekindle a relationship with his daughter? I did love revisiting Pike, Brick and their wives.

Love never dies

Olivia and Forrester have been having trouble in their marriage for years. Forrester has finally gotten to the point that a critical decision has to be made about their marriage. Forrester does things to force the issue Ford Olivia to understand that she is the cause of severe anguish, not just to the family but to everyone around het. It was not until Livy went home to Ireland, a place she vowed never to return to, that misunderstood the the depths of her shallow bitchiness. We see Olivia, for the first time in her marriage fighting to save her marriage. Forrester happily sees the woman her fell in love with return and is just as eager to start all over again.

This was a n easy read love story featuring an older couple. for a change. We see Olivia and Forrester struggle through the ups and downs just like a younger couple. The story of a mature couple can n
be just as interesting and enjoyable.

NEVER TOO OLD

I'm glad I got to read the story of Brick and Pike's parents. It was a roller coaster ride of all times. Their story shows it's never too late to find your soul mate all over again.

Good read

This was a really good read....well written and brings you into the Irish world. It wasn't along the lines of action, drama packed but it was well worth the read. There were a lot of funny parts in the story that had me crying. My favorite part being when Olivia went to stake her claim and Forrester trying to get back his wife.... I haven't read all the book but this author, only a few...but I get to realize that all of them are connected in some way or the other...so I would recommend for a clear picture of what's going on the the connections to read them...if you want to go indepth. However it is also not necessary. Good read...had a lot of laughs.

Interesting story

I deducted a star because of the editing changes remaining in the book. Why didn't a clean copy get uploaded? The ending definitely got my attention. I love Fran and the Lin Chens. Even though Forrester and Olivia found their way to each other, I still have a dislike of her.

What the heck is this

OK so this book is interesting in a sense where it’s like you think you know what the book is about and then when you start reading it you realize it’s not anything like what you were thinking that’s what happened to me so I gave it three stars because ultimately it was a good book but based on the description I was expecting something else and it is what I got

Wow

I do loved the inside view of Olivia’s marriage. I wondered what could Gabe gone wrong with them because it was easy to tell Forrester loved her.
