The book contains suggestions about how to run an induction day, a club fair, a student advocate scheme or a guidance committee. There are also ideas for students on topics such as planning, study skills and examination techniques. Several chapters provide information to share with teenage students or their parents. The author, Brian Lennon, has worked both as a guidance counsellor and psychologist. He is a fellow of the Irish Institute of Guidance Counsellors and of the William Glasser Institute Ireland.
