Hot. Damn.
I mean, hot damn, people. Now this is what I call erotica. While it's full of ridiculously hot smut (all of the smut!), there's still a romance at the heart of it. And for a quickie read that I devoured (while fidgeting uncomfortably because MY OVARIES!), it was very satisfying. It's like a decadent morsel of dessert. You don't need much to make it fulfilling because it's so rich and delicious. Do you know what I mean or do you KNOW WHAT I MEAN?!
This is one sizzling hot MFM romance that will hit the spot just right. I love the premise of this series, with girlfriends forming a pact to buy each other their dream trip on their 25th birthdays. First up? Olivia. Still not over her ex boyfriend that broke her heart, she finds herself at a beautiful vinery in the middle of Italy on her trip. But while the scenery is gorgeous, there's not a hot man in sight....until she sees one that rocks her world. The twist? Her ex boyfriend happens to be the son of the owners of the vinery she's staying at. He walked away from her because he thought his desires were too depraved for a good girl like Olivia. But what he doesn't know is that she craves exactly what he's been holding back on with her. And when they find out their desires happen to be shared? ALL OF THE OVARY EXPLOSIONS. My only quibble is that I would have loved for an epilogue to really tie everything together, but I guess you can't have it all

This one took me by surprise....I am not short story reader, neither I am three-some erotic drama reader but this one was unexpected. I guess what worked the most in the book was execution of the story. If any of the events or revelations happen before or after then their designated time, it would have been chaotic and messy with full of misunderstanding...but being a short book, there is no space for that type of drama and anguish which I appreciated. While I enjoyed this one...I am not sure I'd be reading next one.

'Private Reserve ' by Cathryn Fox is the story of Olivia and Gio. This is a Novella with around 90 pages or so. This is a short and hot read that gives a second chance at love. Olivia is still dealing with a sore heart after Gio up and left her. But she is on a Birthday Trip given to her by her friend in a birthday pack they made with each other to give each a exciting 25th birthday adventure where they are to have 'epic sex'. But Olivia ends up meeting Gio where she is staying...and finds that his family owes Villa she is staying at. Gio is hiding a secret that he doesn't think Olivia would understand or want to be a part of. In addition, he thinks she won't understand his feelings for Luca. Can these two work things out? Can they get past this deal they made and more forward to something stronger and more permanent.

Even though this is a short read it is a scorching hot read! But beware if you’re not into a MMF or MM loving then this is not the book for you. But those that are into that, prepare yourself for a heck of a ride!! Gio was Olivia’s first love and best friend. She saw a future with him but he thought leaving her was the best decision- well it wasn’t for either. When she runs into him in Italy and the feelings she had for him come back to life Gio realizes that this situation could be a win, win for him. There isn’t much drama and but like I said earlier, it’s a fast read and I felt we could have gotten a bit more meat on this story. Get ready for the heat Cathryn Fox brings us. Kara- 4 Stars

Having read the Hands On trilogy by Fox before, I was really excited to read her new series. Private Reserve is the first book in the Dossier series and although I've only read Hands On before, this book completely took me by surprise. Without giving too much away, (since this story is a novella), we get to meet Olivia entering a new stage of her life. After her boyfriend broke up with her she has struggled to move on, but since it is her twenty-fifth birthday she is determined to make the most of it, especially when one of her friends is supposed to be planning her the trip of a lifetime. Needless to say that when Olivia arrives to Italy she wasn't expecting to bump into her ex boyfriend Gio. Now she has to see him during her stay and as the two start to get along again, feelings start to resurface between them that neither one can control. It is then that secrets also start to reveal themselves, secrets that could tear them apart once again.
I really enjoyed reading this story, it was quick and steamy! The chemistry between the characters is undeniable and it is because of that that had me reading until the very end. There were things that I wished the author could have elaborated more in the story, and the end was a bit abrupt, but it all works out in the end. If you like steamy novellas than I would definitely recommend reading Private Reserve.

there are sin things you should always be warned about , rape, abuse , cliffhangers and m/m or m/m/f ménage ,especially when the description only ever mentions two MC's and they are one man and one woman, the description only mentions Gio holding back because he has a dark side, not a man in the side.... m/m isn't something you should be blindsided ,especially when the story is sold to as one revolving around just one couple... m/m is hot and popular a lot of women,but it's not for every one ,soo if your proud enough to write it, why not be proud enough to at least hint about it in the desc.....
Not the lack of character development ,in a story that just flies ,and is over before it starts good w/TSTL h who is supposedly still madly in love w/the H but when she sees him w/the other man doesn't recognize his body or his voice just because she doesn't see his face, now two years is a bit of a while but I can't imagine forgetting ANYTHING about a man I loved that deeply especially his voice or at the very least having a very weird feeling and some very nagging doubts ,that I'd be trying to live in denial from.... but , but a couple of days later when she can PLAINLY SEE just close they are and how different Gio acts, with his voice , his body , his everything , and the other man is putting the moves on me ,the one I SAW having sex the other day and and is saying 'there is NOTHING he doesn't know m nothing that they dint share '? Aaaaaaaaaaaa, ding,ding,ding , we have a winner ?!?!? Only a complete idiot wouldn't getting a clue.... well I called her a TSTL fir a reason.... I won't say how long but it's a 100% longer then it should...

This super hot quick read will be one I look forward to re-reading again and again. The premise behind the Dossier series is a group of friends are to so something on their bucket list for their twenty-fifth birthday. One friend is in charge of the birthday persons dossier which will ensure that their deepest desire is fulfilled. Whomever setup Olivia's dossier was one hundred percent correct in sending her to this particular place to fill her desire of a wild and crazy night of sex.

She ends up in Italy-Tuscany to be exact and staying in a vineyard. All she sees is older people. Some trip of a lifetime. Just then she spots Gio. Her college love of her life. who left her. Heartbroken. What's the chance of this being his family's vineyard?? Her best friends couldn't know could they??
Gio left Olivia and moved back to Italy to protect her from himself. She was a minister's daughter, and he had darker needs. He's never gotten over her. When she shows up out of the blue in his vineyard, fate has dealt him a gift he will not squander. In order to take over the family business, he needs to marry. The vineyard is failing. How can he get Olivia to help him? Problem is, I can't touch her. I couldn't stop and she deserves nice. I can't always be nice....
And then there is Luca, Gio's best friend, and lover..... How can he fit into the mix?-if he even can..... Maybe the good girl is ready to be very naughty....
What an interesting scenario. I love the Dossier series! I first read book two, House Rules, and had to go back and read book one! Short, spicy reads that pack a lot of story on the pages! Gio and Olivia never stopped loving each other. It was lack of communication that drove them apart. Now that they are older, they have an idea what they want, and it's each other. Their chemistry was spiking from the pages and I felt their connection. I love second chance love stories and this is one of the better ones I have read. The interesting twist is the best friend and how he fit. I liked the addition and it seemed right within the story! This turned into one sizzling MFM read!!

This was a short adult story. It was easy and fun to read. I liked how the author created the flow here, that did not seem forced.
The series are about group of girl friends, that for their twenty-fifth birthday draw a name, and that person plans a surprise vacation for them, and by surprise I mean surprise, because they do not know what they are going to get there, even their dresses are packed for them. All they get is a dossier, where they are going.
So the first book is about Olivia, the minister's daughter, who was always told that anything else than vanilla is a sin. However, she always craved more, and she did not get it even from a guy that she loved, and she still loves. That was the only thing lacking in their relationship.
Gio, broke up with Olivia and left her back in the US and moved back to Italy, because of his family business and because he loved her so much that he wanted to protect her, from himself. He loved her, but he did not want to corrupt her, and he knew that he will, one day, if he stayed, because she is a good girl and he needed more.
The only thing that was lacking was Luca's appearance. I liked his character, but it seemed like he was this extra that was forced in this story. His character was an important one, so the author should have included him more, to deliver what she wanted too. Since right now, it seemed like as I said a forced extra.

The story engaged me (I was just surprised by some turn of events) and the characters have amazing chemistry. It was a short, quick and steamy read. I would’ve wished for perhaps a more closed ending instead of an abrupt one.

Holy shit, Private Reserve is down and dirty and hot! Olivia is on a friend sponsored birthday vacation in Italy at a beautiful vineyard when she stumbles upon two hot men, one named Lucas and one wearing a hat hiding his face, having hot, dirty, dominating sex. Olivia is jealous because she wants to inspire that kind of heat in a man and for him to take her like that, she wants to be dominated and used and for him to set her dormant desires on fire. A short time later her ex, the one who broke her heart two years earlier when he broke up with her, sees her at the vineyard (his family's vineyard) and proposes marriage on the spot, causing Olivia to choke on the grape she had just thrown into her mouth.
When Gio comes to her rescue and dislodges the grape stuck in her throat that's cutting off her oxygen, dread spreads through her heart. She's never gotten over the man who shredded her heart, and she regrets letting her friends convince her that this vacation where she's not to come home until she's had "legendary sex-delicious, salacious, rough and dirty, 'bang me against the wall and leave me bruised' sex." was a good idea. But, as Gio explains why he needs her to marry him (so he can take control of the vineyard and modernize it), she thinks perhaps she can do it, after all, she'll get something out of this fake marriage - her dream job, then she can be the one to leave Gio after he takes control of his vineyard.
Of course, that's not what happens, as the feelings Olivia has always had for Gio are still there, and Gio's own dark desires come out to play when he realizes just how naughty his new, fake, wife is, that she's not the sweet, innocent pastor's daughter he had thought she was while they were together two years earlier. If you like MM, MMF, or even just dirty, dominating kind of sex, I highly suggest you check out Private Reserve. It may be short, and lacking a lot of backstory and things like deep feelings, but it's seriously hot and all three characters are likable and interesting, especially Luca.

When Gio comes to her rescue and dislodges the grape stuck in her throat that's cutting off her oxygen, dread spreads through her heart. She's never gotten over the man who shredded her heart, and she regrets letting her friends convince her that this vacation where she's not to come home until she's had "legendary sex-delicious, salacious, rough and dirty, 'bang me against the wall and leave me bruised' sex." was a good idea. But, as Gio explains why he needs her to marry him (so he can take control of the vineyard and modernize it), she thinks perhaps she can do it, after all, she'll get something out of this fake marriage - her dream job, then she can be the one to leave Gio after he takes control of his vineyard.
Of course, that's not what happens, as the feelings Olivia has always had for Gio are still there, and Gio's own dark desires come out to play when he realizes just how naughty his new, fake, wife is, that she's not the sweet, innocent pastor's daughter he had thought she was while they were together two years earlier. When Olivia and Gio broke up, she never thought she’s see him again. But her friends conspire to send her on a trip to Tuscany and back into the arms of her one time lover when she ends up at his family’s villa. Gio let Olivia go thinking she’d not understand his sexual appetites, including his bisexual nature. He and his best friend Luca make hay while the sun shines (so to speak) but he hasn’t forgotten Olivia. His parents want him to marry to take over the Rossi family business, and when Olivia shows up unexpectedly he proposes (literally!) a trade; in return for a quick marriage of convenience to get his hands on the family property, he’ll help her get her dream job back home in the US. Olivia hasn’t forgotten those steamy nights in Gio’s bed, though she wishes he’d sometimes been a bit more dominant and less tender. Saying yes isn’t a hardship when it will get her what she wants, with an extra helping of steam when Luca becomes a partner in their love match. But will the happiness Olivia finds be enough for her to consider changing her future plans and staying with Gio permanently?

This is a lighthearted, low-angst read with plenty of heat and a happy ending for the threesome. I’m definitely going to be on the lookout for more from this author.

Cathryn Fox writes can surely write some panty melting, molten lava hotness, but she's outdone herself with this one.
A quick read, I'm betting you'll want to read it twice, just to make sure you didn't miss one steamy little sentence.
It's Olivia's turn to take a set up vacation for birthday #25 and she ends up at a vineyard in Italy. Her little cottage is tucked into an isolated line of vines, her welcoming party beneath her balcony is two hot men engaging in raw, dominant sex and oh good grief, I puddled to the floor quicker than she did.
Olivia's desires which she can't seem to ask for is just that. Someone to take her over.
Next day she happens to run into the owner's son who just by chance happens to be her ex, Gio. He needs a wife so he can take over the vineyard. She agrees by negotiation, but still timid. I love Cathryn Fox's romances, and PRIVATE RESERVE is a scorcher! I'm a sucker for a bad boy/good girl romance and Gio is a very bad boy when it comes to the bedroom (or in front of the window or down in the cellar...ahem!) If that's not enough steamy goodness, his best friend Luca isn't half bad either, and let's just say Olivia is a very lucky girl indeed!

Quickie
This was a short, satisfying, quickie. Enjoyable if this is what your're after. If you want lengthy character developments, for the relationship to take time to develop and a totally believable and likely plot, then this is probably not the book for you. A fun bit of escapism! Has inspired me to read the rest in the series.

Olivia “Liv” Fraser and her friends have an interesting idea on how to treat each other. She’s on vacation and it’s off to an interesting start. Gio Rossi thinks he did the honorable thing but who got hurt the most? He’s great at making up for lost time though. I found this to be a second chance romance with a very hot twist. He has a great friend named Luca who turns up the heat level.
I could hardly believe that this was a book that was under 100 pages. It certainly didn’t read that way and none of the scenes seemed to be rushed. If you like a hot and sexy read then you get that here in spades. It sounds like the story is set in a beautiful setting – had me wanting to book a trip and check it out. Something that was hard to believe was that this was the first in the series. I was expecting to have to go back and get caught up but was happy to see that I hadn’t missed anything. The only thing is that I can’t tell you what is coming next and unless I missed it I didn’t get any sense of a teaser of what it will be. And I was very happy with that because it builds the anticipation for book two.

Sometimes as a reader, I want to sit down with a book I can get lost in for hours upon hours on end, and sometimes, as s the case with Private Reserve. I need a quick one hour read to go with my hot soup on my lunch break from work.
Private Reserve fit the bill to a "T"
This book was hot, witty, and delivered some of my ultimate, all time fantasies brought to life in the span of 60 minutes of uninterrupted, adult, one handed reading time. (JK--I was still at work sheesh!) Gio and Lucas---HOT. Liv---Straight up sub! Two men----one woman--- damn.... I'm jealous....
This was a great short and spunky little read, and I loved every titillating second! 5 stars baby!! Now someone pass the wine ;)

Good things come in small packages … "Private Reserve" wasn't good … it was dirty, dirty, dirty AF!!! And it was EPIC! This is the first novella in Cathryn Fox's new Dossier series. The sex scenes are M/M, M/F, and M/M/F. Olivia's a preacher's daughter and Gio's the son of an Italian winery owner. They were college sweethearts but Gio broke up with Olivia years ago,leaving her brokenhearted. Luca's been Gio's best friend since he moved to Italy from the US when he was five years old. Gio and Luca've been best friends since they met. Luca knows Gio still loves Olivia and tells him to win her back. "Private Reserve" is really compact so the secondary characters' roles are limited. The focus is mainly on Gio and Olivia, and Luca. The pace is fast and the sex is intensely hot. Have a change of undies at the ready.
"Private Reserve" should come a Warning Label because the attraction is magnetic, electric, there's chemistry and it's combustible. Cathryn Fox knows how to write books that require you to purchase the multi-pack of undies. You may not lying but your panties will be on fire! "Private Reserve" is like the Fourth of July because there are sparks flying everywhere. Gio, Olivia, and Luca are charming, engaging and compelling characters. They make the story intriguing. And let's not forget … Cheese and Crackers … this story is spicy and steamy as all get out! Because this is a novella everything is streamlined and the action and pace move quickly. Good character building. Intriguing world building. Fast, easy to read. A great amount of heat almost right off the bat.
There's a lot of ..."frustration" in wanting the characters to just be honest with each other, to just communicate already! It's what builds the tension in the story.
It does have M/M and F/M/M scenes. Responsible, informed, consenting adults safely engage in erotic playtime.

I have always been a big fan of Ms. Fox’s, so I jumped on the chance to read and review this novella. I most certainly am glad I did. Despite the fact that it was a short book, it was a super, sexy story.
Olivia Frasier is at a winery in Tuscany, sent by one of her friends by a dossier. 2 years prior, her and her friends decided that on the month of their 25th birthdays, someone would pull their name and make up a dossier and send them on a destination adventure and not come home until they’ve had epic sex. Olivia is still in a funk over her ex who broke her heart by leaving her 2 years ago. But fate intervenes when she finds out the soon to be owner of the estate is none other than Gio himself. And he’s got a sexy best friend who he’s in love with.
This short is so hot the scenes sizzle right off the pages. Gio is a steamy, dominant, alpha who wants Olivia and his best friend. You’ll certainly need a bucket of ice for this one!
