A must read for any coach or entrepreneur! I highly recommend the book because it provides incredible value in terms of content, structure, and core theme. 'Taking the Leap' will inspire you with plenty of content to reflect on, practice, and perfect. Even after a 4th-read, I am still discovering new nuggets of wisdom!
Content: What I absolutely love about Kasia's work is the bite-sized distilled wisdom of the amazing people they interviewed. The roster of coaches who took the time to provide valuable tips and advice is impressive. Marshall Goldsmith and Jack Canfield are only two from numerous world-class coaches.
The variety is also there for a reason—it shows how vast the coaching world is, so there is something for everyone (no matter what kind of coaching business you have or planning to launch). You can identify/connect with coaches who their spirit or methodology resonate with you the most. Following that advice, or even reflecting upon it will keep you busy for a long time.
There is no mush, no fluff, no beating around the bush. Straightforward inspiring and practical advice, tips, to-do list, and 1-page summary! No excuses, really ^_^
Structure: The book is structured into three simple sections that really at the core address what Simon Sinek describes as the 'Golden Circle of of Success: Why? How? What?' It starts with: 'finding yourself and your purpose', then transitions to: 'finding your clients', then concludes with: 'finding success'. Makes perfect sense, right?
What makes 'Take a Leap' unique is that the tips are not random. Kasia & Patryk were so insightful to devise the book so that each coach gives you as a reader a personal holistic approach on how they achieved their success, along with a step-by-step action-plan.
Core theme: Everything in the book is centered around "LEAP", the main brand/theme of Kasia & Patryk. I really admire them for that. They are basically practicing their core message, and it shows beautifully even through the other coaches messages.
Final Note: Even if your business is not coaching-related, I find many of the tips and advices in this book is relevant to any serious entrepreneur.
It is time to take YOUR leap, now. What are you waiting for?. Achieve your dreams, and make the world a better place!
