Would absolutely recommend this to ANYONE interested in traveling!
I am pleasantly surprised with how thorough and detailed this guide is, while at the same time still being compact and small enough to carry with you in a pack. I feel like I could study this guide while on a trans-Atlantic flight and be able to hop off the plane and navigate my way around London, arguably one of world's greatest cities. It's always been on my bucket list to visit the U.K. and London would definitely be one of the stops on that tour. There is so much to do, to see, to eat! This guide gives you suggestions and descriptions of what to see, experience, and eat, all written from multiple locals' point of view. So many maps and color photos included too, which I really appreciated. Absolutely a great resource for anyone interested in exploring the city in their own way and without spending money on a tour service. After reading Moon London Walks by Moon Travel Guides I would feel confident and comfortable enough to explore the city without a guide. This book is all you need!

I love suggestions for city walks, but this one missed the mark for me. The highlights of each walk are only very briefly described and the area covered for each is WAY too big. There is no way you cover one of these in a day and still feel like you had a quality experience. The best feature is a large, detailed folding map that is helpful for pre-trip planning (Don't pull out something that big on the street!) and smaller maps that conveniently fold out of the book and are more compact.
