First book I've completed this year so far!!

I don't regret it, because I've wanted to finish reading this series ever since I started it a year ago, and when I found out that this book came out, the conclusion, I grabbed the audiobook so fast.

Raine, Hammer and Liam are a special bunch. They are charming and I love their relationship.

I like the turn that the plot took in this last book, nice way to wrap everything up. I love the realistic portrayal of the justice system and the development of the characters.

Overall, this wasn't the last three previous books in the series, I think I'm a bit nostalgic about finishing it and that's why it was only a three-star for me.

But the whole series is definitely a FIVE-star!!

An EPIC series conclusion to an EPIC trio of characters! I can only hope that Shayla, Jenna, and Isabella have more up their sleeves because 'The Doms of Her Life' series was incredibly entertaining, super suspenseful, and ridiculously SEXY! THE EDGE OF DOMINANCE is the fourth and final installment of the series and it couldn't have ended any better. It was sad to say goodbye to these characters, but my heart is full that they received the happily ever after that they deserved.

"She craved their three hearts coming together to beat as one..."

It's been one Hell of a rollercoaster ride of FEELS with Raine, Liam, and Hammer. They've battled demons in the past, but nothing will prepare them for the possible heartache to come. In this series ender, we get EVERYTHING on Macen. His demons run deeper than you would've thought. GUILT is his biggest demon and he can't seem to shake it. This beautiful trio's love has been tested before, but they are in for an even greater challenge. The ghosts of the past and the guilt over what could have been is not the only thing to come up against their future happiness. Yet another enemy seems determined to ruin their lives in the worst possible way. With their happily every after so out of reach, sacrifices must be made, hearts will shatter, and love will be tested more than ever.

Black, Jacob, and LaPearl have come together to create something magnificent with this series and these wonderful characters. Raine, Liam, and Hammer embedded themselves in my heart long ago, but with this emotional and final installment of the series, I've fallen in love all over again. These are characters that you want to root for. Their love is the kind of love that you crave. Their connection is unbreakable and their chemistry is undeniable. This series definitely SIZZLES!

There is SO MUCH potential for a spin-off series and I can only hope that these characters 'talk' them into it. Because I want more! I will ALWAYS want more from these authors...ALWAYS!

The Edge of Dominance (The Doms of Her Life, #4) by Shayla Black

Have you read One Dom to Love? Have you read The Young and the Submissive? Have you read The Bold and the Dominant? If you haven't that is the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd books in this series, can you please just trust me when I say that this series should be read in order. So if you haven't read those please don't read this entire review. Just take the humble advice of a huge romance novel fan and purchase your copy of One Dom to Love, and jump on this roller coaster of crazy love, jealousy, and a hopefully forever kinda love. You won't regret it.

The trio of authors took this one to a whole new level of awesomeness...even more so than the first three. They left us with news that threw us for a loop and had us like "Doctor Say WHAT?" This book had heart wrenching hurdles that gut punched me as Hammer faces consequences caused by a unnamed villain. I wasn't in tears, but it was damn close and god I just had to keep reading cause I couldn't leave it where it was where my beloved characters were in turmoil.

Once again I loved the writing and how the authors planned out the series. This once kept moving, but also to have the book developing at some points it felt like time had stopped at those pivotal moments of suspense or when a character was going through turmoil. All three of the main characters - Hammer, Raine, and Liam - have some pivotal moments in this books. We get to meet Liam's lovely Mum and Da and discover some family dynamics that will have you cracking up. The scene where we first meet them had me laughing out loud for sure. Unlike the other books not too much physical violence, which I was happy about, but again the strife, turmoil, and suspense damn near had me jumping to the end cause I had to know everything was going to be alright.

How weird is it that these three authors had me wondering if Hammer, Raine, and Liam were going to get their happily ever after or not???

Once again I say to you if you love romance, steamy love scenes, struggle, suspense, some kink, and funny Irish parents then this is your series. With the Kindle version selling at 4.99 per book it is a deal, and with the 1st book free...yep you read that right FREE you got nothing to lose by giving this series a try. I loved this series the first time I read them, and I love it just as much now that this series of characters has come to an end.

Edge of Dominance is out soon get reading and catch up before the release of the final novel on the 13th of September.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

What an ending to a truly amazing story. Hammer, Raine and Liam have had a rocky road since the beginning and when everything seems to be finally going in their favor, fate tosses another road block in their way.

Not that everything was all peaches and cream before the bottom fell out. Hammer felt that his roughness would be too much for Raine during the pregnancy so he stays away. Raine -- as any pregnant woman would -- sees it as "he doesn't want me anymore" and feels abandoned. Liam does his best to reassure her - and himself - that Hammer does love her and is excited about the pregnancy.

Just as they are getting through that, Raine's brother shows up believing the worst about Hammer and even gets the police involved. As the trio tries to fight the demons inside them and the forces outside, they get a boost in that Liam's parents arrive to give them much needed support.

Its hard to believe that this series has reached its end and it will always hold a special place in my heart. It makes me wish that the authors would post/write seasonal novellas so we can see how the trio navigates life, and love, with their growing family.

It was a good wrap up to the series. It sucked that there was about a year between this book and #3. I was lost on some characters and just had to go with the flow as I refused to go back and re-read 1000+ pages. There were a few things that felt out of place or just weren't needed/went to far. The whole thing with Liam and his mother being able to sense things came from left field and were kinda confusing. We had no build up or even a hit of the senses. The scene with River in the hotel room went too far. There was absolutely no need for it to continue after he had the info. Also there was just too much sex. By chapter 13 they had had more sex within a week than I've had my entire life. It was too over the top.

1) I HAVE to know the results of the coin toss
2) PLEASE tell me we'll get a Seth and Beck story!!!
3) PLEASE tell me we'll get a Pike and River story!!!

This was such an amazing conclusion to my favorite threesome. Their relationship dynamic has always fascinated me and I've been in love with Raine, Hammer and Lima since I cracked open the first book. Everything came full circle as they faced their biggest hurdle and scariest situation they could have imagined. With the threat of their loving threesome being torn apart and the loss of control they feel, it's a lot of stress and potential heartache they faced. This was definitely a roller coaster I enjoyed riding.

Great continuation of Raine’s, Macen’s and Liam’s story.
What started with A Don to Love, continued with The Young and the Submissive comes to a grand finale in the Edge of Dominance. We also get a glimpse into a few interesting pairings for future stories to be told.

Some books get better when rereading or listening. This series is one of them!

Oh, and while I love duet narrating, a big shoutout to Christian Fox for an outstanding job!

a year and a half since book 3 was released is way too long in my opinion. ..this is why I like to wait for a series to be complete, you never know how long it will take to unfold. I hardly remember what this was about at this point, I've read over 500 books (at least) since then.

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

Oh my goodness, This incredible fourth installment in The Doms of Her Life series was full of nail-biting drama and twists that I did NOT expect! I felt like Hammer, Raine, and Liam grew so much in this book. They are stronger, more potent together, and all determined to do their best to get their happily ever after.

The Edge Of Dominance was, I thought, more emotional than the last book in the series. I found myself crying with everything that was happening. Yet, I also found myself awed and amazed by Raine. She changed so much and has become even stronger willed and I loved that! And we learn a thing or two of Liam that had me shocked and incredibly intrigued. There were twists I did NOT expect...AT ALL in this type of story, but some how, it not only worked, it made the story even better.

Lets not forget the incredible sexy scenes too! These scenes were more loving and sensual and divine. Sweet, ULTRA HOT, and tender, I found myself constantly nibbling my lip and taking small breaks just to give myself time to cool down. And the ending? DAMN, IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! I am going to miss this outstanding series. I give The Edge Of Dominance a VERY SEXY FIVE SHOOTING STARS! With all the unexpected twists and surprises, it should get a TEN but a FIVE should do nicely. I HIGHLY Recommend this series to all those menage lovers like myself.

This book was by far the best of the four, there were so many twists and turns I didn’t think I could keep up. The emotional rollercoaster that Raine, Liam and Macen had to go through was heart shattering but the strength and love they showed each other was awe inspiring. What a wonderful three way couple they are.

Fantastic! Although extremely long in length, I loved all the twists and turns. Liam, Raine and Macen had so many obstacles to overcome. Their story was emotionally beautiful, had comedy, mystery, romance and extremely hot sexy-time. A great read.

This would have been 2.5 stars. But the author making one of the H’s mothers a clairvoyant fae (nothing paranormal or anything in the ENTIRE series until this) and then the other H’s dead ex wife to appear and tell him that she chose for him to find the h when she was a battered minor hiding in the alley outside the BDSM club because she knew they were meant for each other and blah blah just ruined it. Lazy writing by the author.

This was a weird read for me. I’m quick to dnf a terrible book/series but Christian Fox is a great narrator and kept me invested. I enjoyed the MFM dynamic with our two Heroes, though the heroine goes in the “worst heroine of all time” hall of fame.

My curiosity got the best of me. So I am here and going to deliver a honest feedback.

Macen Hammer was neglected by his parents and grew up with house staffs. He did not have any friends that he could share his feelings. At very early age, he was exposed to 'fifty shade of grey” by his nanny and gardener. He did not know what to do. He joined with them for heinous activity and became friends. When his parents laid off those servant, he got lost. He tried to be better person on his own and helped others any way he could. He met a girl (Juliet) at college and married her because he was in fall with her. When he realized Juliet had feeling for his best friend Liam, he offered to share her, just so Juliet will be happy so he could have a happy family. However, Juliet had to fight her own demon and she lost her soul in that process. Macen shut him off from social life due to pain. When broken “Raine” showed up at his door, he nurtured her, gave her home and provided her education without any string attach. Since she was minor, Macen made sure no one take advantage of her.
Raine was abused by her father and could not distinguish between love or lust. Under Macen's roof When she got everything she ever asked for, she started became greedy. She desperated to lose her virginity and wanted to have physical relationship with Macen. I think it is way to repay Macen for his good deeds. But being a good guy, he ignored her..
Liam on the other hand, was whinny cry baby. He would not let anyone to play his toy. But he wouldn't mind to steal his best friend's girlfriend. I was wishing he will go back to his ex wife.......sigh .
I was hoping Macen Hammer would find a better girl than Raine who can love him and give him all. So I forced myself to keep reading this traumatize book. However, I was supper disappointed.
Raine only can give him half and some time she seems very selfish. When Hammer was busy, she would not waste any time to jump into Liam's bed. Macen became third wheel into their relationship despite all those sacrifices he made for them (Raine and Liam).
Raine kept saying she loved both men, but it was lust she was after. She was so happy that her daughters biological father was Liam instead of Hammer. Selfish woman.........after the hell Hammer had to go through because of her.... ….not my favorite heroine.

Now I have to find a better book to read so I can erase all memory of this book!

Wow! I have to say, that this powerhouse trio of writers, Shayla Black, Jenna Jacob, and Isabella Pearl, know how to deliver in a book. I’ve been not only a huge fan of Shayla and Jenna’s since they first burst on to the scene, but I’ve also gotten to know Isabella through this series. I’m sad to see it end. Honestly? I really want Beck and Seth to get their own book or maybe their own book series together. #TeamBeckSeth #GiveThemASeries

That all being said, the best was most definitely saved for last in this series, and I was certainly hooked from the first page all the way to the very end. This one was a seat grabber for sure, and dear GAWD, these ladies can write some of the hottest kinky sex scenes I’ve ever read. Just pure magic in literary form!

Our story starts about two months after Raine went through her horrible ordeal with Bill, her father. While she has been processing this through her shrink, it seems Macen hasn’t. He’s cranky, avoiding his family, and enjoying annoying others instead of dealing with his demons. Raine is left to wonder just how Macen feels about her.

But just as soon as they work on a resolution to that little issue, an angry figure from Raine’s childhood comes around and stirs up a hornet’s nest so big, it would probably cover a few states.Unfortunately, someone also has it out for Macen, so their troubles just keep multiplying.

Luckily, we have our friendly neighborhood surgeon/sadist to help, Dr Kenneth Beckman, Beck for short. Then there is PI Seth. The two of them, along with some other great characters, pitch in to try to help save the day.

Like I said, this was easily the best book of the quartet, and trust me, they are all just amazing. And, I LOVE some of the names that got thrown around. For example…Wankstain, fu*king Gobsh*te, Di*kless pus-bubble, and my fave, dipshidiot, If you buy any book this year, buy this one, and if you haven’t read the others? you’re in for a treat, get the series, I promise, it’s worth it!

Oh My Dear Lord! Hammer, Liam and Raine are back with a vengeance! This is an amazing book – it continues on from Book 3 and it’s seamless! I could not put this book down. It is quite simply – stunningly awesome!

These 3 people have are so blessed to have each other; their unconditional, irrevocable, unbelievable love and passion burns through each page and all you can do is devour each and every word.

God love Hammer – he’s such a man – thinking he can handle everything life dishes out by himself, with no help from those who care most about him. But he learns, oh yeah, he learns big-time!
Then there’s Liam – the sweet Dom who nurtures the loves of his life, but uses his determination to show both Hammer and Raine their love will overcome anything.
And Raine – this strong, sassy, feisty woman who loves with everything inside her and proves to everyone that she is no shrinking violet – she has balls of steel, and isn’t afraid to use them! I want to be her when I grow up!

There are twists, turns, surprises, family, passion, love, sex (holy crap the sex) and the ultimate love story. I sincerely could not put this book down! All of the characters in this series are given to us in a richly woven, unmistakably anticipated plot that is magnificent.

If you haven’t read the series, do yourself a favor and read them all! You will not be sorry – you will be awed by the talent of these 3 amazing writers. The stories they weave, the characters they create, the emotions they share, will leave you breathless and begging for more.

Absolutely, without a doubt, an exceptional love story that will stay with me for a long time to come. This is a series I will read over and over and over again.

Congratulations Shayla, Jenna and Isabella – you are Mistresses of the Menage, this book is a true literary experience and I just hope we’ll see more from Shadows and the amazing characters who we’ve all grown to care about.

Shadow's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

This was a great wrap-up to an intriguing series, full of suspense, emotional upheaval, and for those who can't pass up the paranormal, a touch of ESP.

Macen Hammer, Raine Kendall, and Liam O'Neill have moved past some major hurdles on their way to becoming a threesome, not the least of which was Raine being forced to kill her worthless father after he kidnapped her. Hammer is having some issues from that event, but the three are working toward togetherness when a new threat looms and he is arrested as a pedophile. Pushing for the arrest at first is Raine's brother, River, who has been missing for years and doesn't realize what he left his sisters to face when he joined the army.

But even after River realizes that Raine was a consenting adult when she began living with the men and withdraws the charges, someone is coming after Hammer. Can the trio discover and thwart their enemy while battling their own demons in order to find an HEA?

I liked all the main characters. All are flawed but heroic in their own ways. River adds a new dimension-and possibly a way to move into a new series? The plan to take down the enemy was priceless, and as always, the sex scenes were steamy. While I could have done without Liam and his family having “the sight”, it was a harmless touch of the paranormal.

Overall a definite five star read and one with a satisfying conclusion to the entire series.

Wow what an ending to this serial. It was a fantastic ending for Liam, Hammer, and Raine's story. These three have been on an emotional journey, but through it all they were there for each other. In the beginning it was Liam coming between Hammer and Raine, then it was Liam's wife and Raine's father, this time it comes full circle to someone we haven't seen since the first book. The one thing that you can expect from the beginning to end of this series is to laugh, cry, be angry on their behalf, and happiness when they come out stronger on the other side. I really loved meeting Raine's brother, once everyone gets to know him and he tries to fix what he almost destroyed, he fits in well with the group.

I loved meeting Liam's parents they were nothing like I expected. His mom Bryn, was a trip and a lot of fun. I loved how she helped push them in the right direction because she is more than she seems. I hope Liam keeps his gifts. I have read a lot of books by a lot of different authors, but this is one of the few authors that once I start a book I don't come up for air. This series must be read in order. I really hope we get books for Beck, Seth, and River, but especially Beck, after all he picked on Hammer and Liam, I can't wait to see him fall. Will it be Heavenly?

Liam , Raine , and Macen have been through so much together and they are still holding together as a couple because they keep communicating. They thought that all their troubles were done but now someone is targeting Macen and they are going at him full force trying to destroy his family.

Macen cant stand that his family could be broken apart when they have worked so hard to get where they are especially with everything that Liam and Raine have endured already. But Macen now faces his own struggles can he rely on his family or does he push them away. He climbs some very tall emotional mountains but his family and friends stick by him through the whole time.

The amazing supporting cast of characters in this story really helps get you interested in wanting to know more about them and hope we hear more about these characters in the future. I was in love with the characters of Seth, Beck, River and Heavenly.

I would highly recommend this book to people who have loved reading other books by Shayla Black. It did not disappoint at all. I truly hope there will be more books to come. I really wish there was more to read in these books it was were very hard to put down.

I do recommend that you read these books in this series in order.

I love this trio but let me tell ya, this book just seemed a little over the top at times. I think we could have gone without all the drama, some of it sure, but all of that? Too over the top for me and I just wanted to get through the book which seemed to never end. I loved Liams family, if we could have had more of them and less FBI, cops and drama I would have loved the book. The drama with River was fine, but the rest, seemed like stuff to fill empty pages. I wanted more love, more Hammer, Liam and Raine together, not all the other crap. Then the epilogue, seriously? I don’t want to ruin the ending but umm, someone needs to go back and rethink the numbers here, something doesn’t come out right. Raine gives birth, then five weeks later………ummm nope.
Characters: well written
Sex: yes
Religious: no
Would I recommend to others: yes

"I laughed out loud, cried and swooned all in one book!"
Knowing this is the last book between Hammer, Raine & Liam, it was hard not to finish it too fast. I can't say enough great things about this book. Hammer still has the lost, pained memories of his past, Liam is still the caring partner with the right words to be spoken and Raine is still the ever loving & caring woman in these men's lives. The way that Raine taunts her men is hilarious and will make you laugh out loud in the way she keeps her men on her toes. Hammer's profession of his love for Raine... will seriously melt your heart, I am pretty sure I paused at this point and let it sink in. SWOON...
The moment when you think all is well with the triad, things are brought to heel when Raine's brother enters the picture. Crying is an understatement in this book! Moments when I had to take a break for my heart to mend for Hammer, Liam & Raine.

I absolutely love all of Shayla Blacks books and this is just another series that will be an ultimate favorite of mine. I want to see another series come out with Seth, Beck & River!!

What a fantastic ending to Raine, Hammer and Liam's story! Quite an emotional journey to be sure! The road the three main characters traveled was long and rocky-filled with pitfalls and whatever common descriptions of a tough road anyone might use. All three had major issues and lots of baggage when their journey together began, but together they managed to fight through to a wonderful "happily ever after." That being said, I felt as though I made this journey with them as I read their story. I laughed, cried, got angry, felt fearful, felt happy and basically wanted to be there for them. They grew in their love and in their trust and became one in heart, mind and soul.

In this fourth and final book of this storyline, The Edge of Dominance, the three authors, Shayla Black, Jenna Jacob and Isabella LaPearl outdid themselves with the heart-stopping storyline which was filled with suspense, hot sex and a little "Irish Sight." Together the three authors created a brilliant ending to a love story that wows the reader. I sure hope Shayla, Jenna and Isabella plan to continue their collaboration and tell us the stories of Beck, Seth, Heavenly, River and Pike.

I enjoyed this book. It was a double edge sword in fact. I never wanted the book to end, although I wanted all the answers.
I wanted Hammer, Liam and Raine to get their HEA. At the same time I didn't want to stop reading.
So much happens in this book.
The arrival of of her brother River. Who did cause some very serious problems. catastrophic actually. I wanted to hate him but eventually he changed my mind.
A few times I wanted to throw my kindle. I was feeling every emotion going.
Then the arrival of Liam's Parents Bryn and Duncan. I just loved them. Bryn can see things before they happen. She is a fey. Their introduction into the book was brilliant and helped with some of the answers.
Inbetween the all the angst, you get glimpses of Heavenly, Beck and Seth. You know that a brilliant story is waiting to be told!
I think River is also on the cards. Well maybe it was something Bryn said.
An excellent read.

I received it as an ARC having read the preceding 3 books. Please make sure you read them in order.

I devoured this book in less than 12 hours! To say that I was excited for this is an understatement. Book 3 left us with a very big cliffhanger. The Edge of Dominance is beautiful and heart wrenching. The trials of life haven't stopped for Hammer, Liam, and their Raine. Their relationship faces the ultimate tests of strength and love. You will be on an emotional roller coaster of the best kind! Read this book with a box of tissues and a sham-wow- you'll need both! This was the perfect ending to the saga for this trio of characters but I'm hoping that there is more to come from this series as I felt like we were being set up to have more from Seth, Beck, and Heavenly. Kudos to Shayla Black, Jenna Jacobs, and Isabella LaPearl for a fantastic read.

Shayla Black did a fantastic job rapping you this series. I loved every minute of this book it made me laugh and cry at times but had a fantastic ending.
This is book 4 in the series and Liam, Raine, and Hammer have all found their way together until one of their past come back. What will happen when this person starts to make up thank that land Hammer in some very deep water. How will Raine do being pregnant with one of their baby? How can Liam help when he is worry he can be dragged down too.
I am so sad to this series come to an end but at least it had a happy ending. I loved every book in this series and often reread them. Mrs. Black does a fantastic job with all of her book and making you fall in love with the people in the book. I recommend you read this. I hope there is more from Beck and Seth.

Oh my Lord! This book was everything I had hoped for and then some. Hammer, Liam and Raine are still together but have so much more to work through. I did get annoyed with Hammer a lot, even though I knew he had so many things in his life to work through. Liam was always there for Raine and Raine finally grew up a lot compared to the first book or two. There were twists, turns and still enough drama to make me go crazy a few times but I got through it. And the ending, I loved it! Yes, it took a long time to get this whole series written and to the readers but in hindsight, I think it was worth the wait. I'm so glad I didn't give up on it. Get the books and read them if you haven't... BUT... you need to read them in order to know what is going on! Wonderful, wonderful book!!!

Please please please consider more for these characters!!!

I was so excited to recieve an ARC of this book. I've been waiting so long for the conclusion of Raine, Liam, and Hammers story. Just when you thought the book was over it started right back up again, it kept me so engaged I was readin it for 3 1/2 hours and before I knew it it was 11 pm. I love all of shayla's books. I hope Seth, beck, and heavenly get their own story soon.

Somewhat spoiler free....Absolutely epic finale to one of my all-time favorite series! The Edge of Dominance gives us a thorough and amazing ending to the saga of Hammer, Liam and Raine. Black, Jacobs and LaPearl certainly do know how to go out in style. Obviously you have to read books 1-3 to get here, so it is no surprise that this trio are perfect together. What I didn’t expect was a deep and meaningful look into Macen’s psyche and such an immersion into Liam’s family! Someone was bound to try one more time to fracture this group but, the story of Macen’s struggle with the past, the accusations and implications of misunderstood actions, and the self-recrimination was heart wrenching AND beautifully written. Liam has been my guy through all of this but with all the soul searching and disturbing honesty that Macen had to face, I finally felt like I understood him. His vulnerability when it comes to Raine was so much deeper than I had ever imagined, and Liam in his own way, is lost without her as well. This is simply an amazingly honest look at what a poly/MFM relationship can be like (aside from the fictional drama of course!) Raine has always been fierce in her love for these two, and while Liam may have been the one holding everything together, in the end, she is the one who saves the day. I loved Liam’s family dynamic, although it was a bit heavy on the psychic stuff (it felt a bit out of place, or maybe just a little forced in order to make the story work? Not sure exactly why it was distracting to me other than I simply don’t believe in that sort of thing and I didn’t think it was necessary to lay it on so thick at times). But to learn of his family and to have them there during such a horrific situation added a sense of safety to a household filled with so much fear. I’m not so sure I cared for how happy (understatement?) Liam and Raine were upon hearing of someone’s death. The glee was a bit over the top and a little creepy, but I guess I can understand why (not really). You knew you would get an HEA with this group, but this was more than that. These three have gone through a reckoning of sorts and needed to ride blissfully off into the sunset. I already want to read it again! I certainly didn’t have an issue with the length. I read this over 3 evenings and hated putting it down at all! The teaser at the end was perfect without needing any more follow up. Sometimes it’s nice just to imagine how it all works out. It gave the reader a chance to just wonder about the future of characters we have come to love. I am simply in awe of how well this all came together.

This is a fantastic ending to a great series- The Doms of her Life. This is the emotional and roller coaster ending story of Hammer, Raine, and Liam. I have been waiting on pins and needles to see how their love story would end. When we last left them, they got some joyous news and then we the readers were left with an epic cliffhanger…well then this boys gets up back into their life and in a huge way. Life isn’t so good , things have been hard for our fav tricouple but it is not for what you think. They have faced some huge obstacles and that has been weighing on our boys and then Raine has also been dealing with the fallout of what she went thru in book 3 plus feeling her way around with the newness of their coming together, all of them. I Have to say, this book really takes the reader thru the paces and keeps the roller coaster going- up and down, back and forth. And let me tell you, I was at times yelling at my kindle, and then in tears, worried but my favorites authors had to know and drew out the suspense and the angst until the very end. Once again, I loved the character development, the love, and the passion PLUS I loved the new characters that were introduced- meeting Liam’s parents and siblings(his mum is to die for , she is such a lady love), and then Raine has someone that makes a huge impact in the family department show up. Oh boy, that one was touch and go for awhile , when you read , you will know what I mean. The other thing is the new couple that is now on the radar and hopefully there is a new series/spin off from this book. Oh the pain and gain from this tricouple is going to be awesome. There was some inklings from the past book but this book cements it.
Overall, I loved the emotional and beautiful ending we got to our fav couple, Hammer, Raine, and Liam. This is one story you do not want to miss.

My rating: 4.8 stars *****
