Mike is six feet, four inches tall and weighs 200 pounds on a good day (a very good day). He and his lovely wife, Annette, have five kids and a turtle named Franklin, who ran away from home this summer. He is still trying to find him.

Mike enjoys the mountains and also loves to vacation at the beach. His favorite thing to do on vacation is to boogie board in the waves and often stays out in the ocean too long and gets a sunburn on the top of his head where he's starting to go bald.

His favorite foods are burritos and oatmeal (not together). Sometimes he cuts his own hair. He can ride a unicycle, annoy people with his banjo playing, and speak Spanish. When he was eight years old he burned down his neighbor's fence (never, never, never play with matches) (NEVER!)

NEVER!

I have read Dancing Dudes over and over and it never gets old. This book is part of a series by Mike Knudson called "Raymond and Graham". In this book these two best friends are getting close to valentines day. They start out by making their valentine boxes and Raymond has quite a bit of trouble with hearts. Next there was a little surprise. There was going to be a dance of,some sort, you'll find out soon enough. Soon Raymond is forced to make a decision that know one wants to make because of a decision because of he thought Heidi,(The girl Raymond liked) wasn't going to be there so he made a plan that definitely backfired. There are many funny parts to this book that made me laugh out loud! There were many quotes to this book here are some~
"Honey, why dose the dog have green beans on her head?" "I think he was happy to finish the rest of my dinner." "Don't mention it, hermano."
Over all this is a very good book and I think everyone would love it!

I am currently reading dancing dudes. The author is mike Knudsen he does a really good job at making the book seem like its real life because most the stuff that happened in this book could happen to me like when they all go to lunch hey have a conversation about a video game. The author also puts alout of funny stuff in this book like one time rayomond had to dance with his teacher and everyone else got to dance with the people they wanted to. If you like humor and realistic fiction then I recommend this book to you. So far I gave this book 5 stars.

I'm finally finished. The ending to this was very happy. A boy named Zach was going to dance with Heidi ( Raymond's crush ) . He was late so he had to dance with the teacher and Raymond danced with Heidi. Then Raymond did the sweetest thing by letting Zach dance with Heidi while Raymond danced with his teacher. If you looked into her eyes, you could tell she was crying because no one was available to dance with her. At the very end of the book, the most romantic thing happened! When the dance was over, Heidi was about to go home so Raymond walked over and said "may I be the one to walk you to your horse?" Then they walked off into sunset, or the parking lot anyway.

recently I started reading Dancing Dudes by Mike Knudson. The idea of this book is how graham [Raymonds best friend] trie to make him manly so he can get a cute girl named Heidi. When I first started reading this I couldnt even put it down because it was so funny and intresting. I could relate this book to raymond and graham to how my brother and his best friend are always together and making each other and everyone lese laugh. I really liked this book and I know that I will like the others to just as well.

dancing dudes Raymond was in fourth grade and he was a real show off, he and his friend Graham would always guess what was for lunch that day by the smell. Graham liked a girl named kelly, he always tried to be cool around her so she would think he was so cool and cute. But graham couldnt wait for valentines day so he could give kelly the best gift ever!

I recommended this to my daughter when I heard a very funny Mike Knudson speak at a writing conference and she enjoyed it so much she made me read it. The tone leaned a little toward an adult remembering what it was like as a child than a child, but it still had some great elementary awkwardness and humor.

My seven-year-old son loves to quote this book. We read this in November and it's now April. He still remembers what Raymond said to Graham and we laugh all over again. The guy rules were fun and believable, both for Mother and Son. We can't wait to read this again. This book is like a Pixar movie with something in it for everyone.

Laugh-out-loud funny. Mike Knudson is hilarious--as an author and in person. He also adds just a touch of heart to the end of this book that was perfect.

The character Graham was trying his best to show how much he loves Kelly. However it was a big mistake when Graham inserted all those letters which was meant for Kelly into Raymond's valentine box
