The repetition killed me. It’s hard to get through.
Have to live everything twice. You already know what’s happening but then you have to re-experience it from the others’ perspective which is all guesswork and whatnot. But also the author remjnds you by re-explaining something that JUST happened a chapter or two ago! For example a character experiences a troublesome scene. Two chapters later, the author re-explains it as if you haven’t read it, or what happened and where ugghhhh as if it’s a distant memory or happened in a precious book. Happens many times.

what a fantastic book. great story. following on beautifully from Inception. his explanation for the origin of flying saucers, while it makes me sad, is amazing.
