From Babe Walker, author of the New York Times bestselling White Girl Problems series, comes a new novella in which the fearless, witty, and spirited Babe decides to try on her most ambitious hat yet: Wine Mogul—what, like it’s hard?
On what should be a romantic trip to California wine country, Babe realizes there's something off with her new lust-at-first-sight-lover, Jack—something she can't get past, even with all his inherited wealth. So she decides to take matters into her own hands and toss him to the curb to enjoy the rest of her vacation.
What she doesn't expect is to run into her old high school nemesis Tina, whose life is at rock bottom. Babe’s frozen heart is warmed by Tina's plight as a struggling winemaker. Armed with a pair of Louis Vuittons that would look fabulous crushing grapes if she felt like it (she doesn't), Babe decides to bring her no-apologies approach and street-smarts to Tina’s vineyard to help her revitalize her business in her most selfless act yet. The always hilarious, upfront, and basic yet delusional Babe Walker is everything you hate to love and love to hate. Just don't call her Thirsty.
Short, entertaining novella that kept my attention. I really wasn't familiar with Babe Walker prior to reading, so I don't think that's a prerequisite. There's some vulgar language that didn't faze me, but heads up if that's something you try to avoid.
Honestly I almost wish it were a bit longer or more detailed? I liked imagining the winery and Babe's efforts to help them market better.
Oh how I’ve missed Babe Walker. I thought I read all the books in the White Girl Problems series so imagine my surprise when I found this one. This book, like the others in the series, cracked me up so much. I wish this one was longer! Hopefully we’ll get another installment.🤞🏼
Quick read. Seemed a little short. Typical Babe Walker book with typical Babe storyline. Entertaining in that really annoying LA trash sort of way (if that makes any sense)! Yes I liked it!
Babe Walker is my spirit animal. I absolutely love this series of books, so I'm not sure why it took me so long to read this next installment. Maybe it's because I own paperbacks of the other books, and this one was only available in ebook? So basic. I hope we get another full-length book in the future.
You know Babe Walker from the White Girl Problems book series. If you haven’t read those and you’ve grabbed this book at random it won’t be the same. If you have read that series then you know what to expect with Babe. She’s rich, spoiled, totally over the top in the most entertaining ways and puts herself first unless she randomly decides to help someone else.
This time Babe finds herself helping out a winery. Babe has no experience working at a winery but she has all the confidence in the world that her help is absolutely necessary.
Funny and over the top as always. There should be a physical copy of this book for sale because I could absolutely see it paired with a bottle of the White Girl wine. Totally smart idea by the way, release a book about working at a winery after releasing your own wine. Very clever.
Anyway, this book was short but it was a good palate cleanser. I just finished a really heavy book and I wanted light and fun. You can always count on Babe to be entertaining.
A chic book over all, what can else can you expect from Babe Walker? The book was very short, also read the ebook. I enjoyed Babe's endeavor in the wine business, you see her grow, sorta. Anyways again was short wish it was longer, love Babe, so it'd be nice to have read more, but it's fine, it was a good book.
Babe Walker is my muse. Every single book about her is devoured in one sitting. This book is just as hilarious as the others, and if you're a fan you'll be obsessed. I laughed so hard I snorted at certain parts. Phenomenal!
Another hilarious installment of the adventures of Babe Walker. This time she’ll help an old target to get her family’s company up and running again, and Babe in her best self mode will do this while meeting new people, messing around with guys, being disappointed and learning more about herself.
Babe Walker does it again! A hilarious story of her ability to turn around a winery business with her eye for design. Read it. Now. But first, read White Girl Problems, Psychos, and American Babe.
