Beneath the stones of London lies a long-buried secret--the body of Jesus Christ. London, 1190. A hideous murder has taken place on the newly built London Bridge. Jack Mason has been slain by his half-brother Nick, whose murderous rage was fueled by the horrors he witnessed as a Templar in the Holy Land. But fratricide is not the only secret tormenting Nick. He has stumbled upon a hidden and devastating discovery, shared only by his covert the earthly body of Jesus Christ, risen once and with the power to rise again. Tortured by his knowledge, Nick buries his secrets deep in London's foundations, but the curse of his sin courses through generations. Only the force that still lies dormant beneath the city can free the heirs to his evil--and reveal to the world a centuries-old truth. 450 pp 4 1/2 x 7

I’ve read almost all of Philip Boasts books, the easier Millionaire books and his more historical ones. Yes I enjoyed Deus but it was the hardest read, a story you need to concentrate on. I need to reread City which I read 18 years ago.

Not the Phillip Boast type of book I expected having read his London's child etc series. Loved it tho - would recommend - hard going in places but draws you in
