This is a great biography for image oriented people. The author seems genuine in his interest in Courtney, who is, at best, a handful. If you want a quick, clear biography of her up until her third album with Hole, then this will fit the bill. Depending on reading speed, you can either be done in an hour or an afternoon. There are enough direct quotations and interesting tidbits to keep even the casually interested reading. This reader would have liked more text and fewer illustrations.
