A sought-after angel expert offers advice on how to overcome your fears and embrace the light within
As a child, angel expert Kyle Gray knew he was destined to make a difference in the world as a light worker. Now, he provides a manual for those who have heard a similar call but whose sensitivity, fear of the unknown, and feelings of powerlessness prevent them from taking real action.
In this book, Kyle encourages you to identify the fears holding you back and gives you the spiritual tools to help you become the light warrior you were born to be. You’ll be introduced to a number of warrior workouts that will help you
· Drop the shields of fear and accept support · Create a loving connection with your angels and guides · Increase your psychic protection and assertive voice · Overcome the fear of persecution · Step into the magic of ceremony
Are you ready to overcome your blocks, create internal shifts, and embrace the light within? Let Light Warrior show you the way.
Somewhat uncharacteristically, I've spent the last week reading the latest book by Angel Expert, Kyle Gray, which was sent for review by Hay House UK. I'll admit that until a few years ago, the word 'Angel' would have triggered an unpleasant reaction in me. As a 'non-religious' person, terminology linked with formal worship would typically have been enough to turn me off completely. However things are shifting, and not just for me. Science is now catching up with ancient beliefs, and it seems both 'sides' are talking about the same things, but using different terminology:
"To awaken the warrior is to remember that we have this inner spark, this internal connection to the divine, the universal life-force, the cosmic presence that runs through all there is and ever will be. It is light in presence and love in essence. It is what a scientist will call 'the quantum field' and a Spiritualist will call 'spirit'." Page 15.
The book - Light Warrior - is aimed at those who have heard the internal call to make a difference in the world (Light-workers) AND have decided to respond to that call (Light Warriors). Filled with many different exercises and tips, this is a very practical manual which has a simple premise - you can live a spiritual life and still be a 'normal' person, but there are some things - 'warrior workouts' - that will help you.
A few examples are breathing techniques to connect to the loving presence within, various meditations, tools for psychic protection, invocations, working with guides, prayers, journaling exercises and creating sacred space. Key amongst these workouts are strategies for dealing with the blocks that are holding you back, and which are designed to help create necessary internal shifts (such as dealing with Shadow elements), and letting go of fear (Forgive Everyone And Release).
"The more you keep yourself safe and well, the more energy you preserve for the people that matter and for your purpose, which is ultimately to be happy." Page 81.
The 'Intuitive Warrior' chapter may be of particular interest to those reading this blog as Kyle talks about how our intuition is the voice of the soul and it gets louder the more we dive into this type of spiritual work (definitely true for me). He also talks about intuition in relation to prediction and intention:
"Our intuition is in some way predicting our future, and it can do this because we have a hand in creating our future. The world we see and experience is based on our 'point of attraction' - what we're attracting into our life, whether we're consciously aware of it or not... The universe isn't giving you a plan, it's waiting for yours." Page 149 - 150.
In order to work well with your intuition, it's suggested that an open dialogue with it is necessary - as a Tarot reader, this is already a daily practice for me - and to distinguish the voice of intuition (which is love) from the voice of fear. Using Angel Cards and Oracles is also discussed. One of my favourite exercises in the book is how to make and use a set of Oracle stones or cards of your own - samples are given from the Warrior Stone Oracle Kyle used when writing the book. They provide a great starting point.
Of course, it's all well and good to be mentally, emotionally and psychically balanced, and to be in tune with your inner voice, but let's not forget that being a Light Warrior is all about helping others:
"Through our own awareness, we can help create awareness in the world. Through our own healing, we can share healing with others. Through focussing on peace in our life, we can bring peace into the world." Page 172
So the final chapters deal with the practical aspects of stepping into service and actually doing the work. It's ultimately a call to action, and a powerful one at that!
If it sounds like something that is in tune with your own path, this is a book you'll probably want to refer back to many times and it's conveniently available as a paperback, an eBook and as an Audiobook - although there are various visuals so, for me, the audio version would need to be in addition to a visual copy, not as an alternative.
I was spontaneously guided to buy this book. And I was guided to start reading this book, now putting other books on halt. And how divinely timed it all was! Throughout the book, I would read passages that fit perfectly with what I was going through and needed to know, when I needed to know it. I’ve received so much helpful inspiration and ideas and tools from this book, and I haven’t even tried or integrated all of the things this book has to offer. So I’m glad I got my own copy, so I can come back to it, again and again. And I will.
Great book, but (and I don't know if anyone knows the answer to this) unless the "Reiki master" he mentions being taught by in his teens was Native American, Kyle Gray engages in much cultural appropriation. If you're white, don't engage in this nonsense. Just take the good advice bits and chuck the Native American stuff where it belongs- with actual Native Americans.
"Prayer for Freedom from Persecution: Universe, this is a declaration. I am not here to be persecuted in this lifetime. There has been enough suffering and fear already in the lives of my ancestors and the great teachers who have gone before me. Today I vow to release all fears or experiences of persecution. The darkness of fear will not stand in the way of my light. I declare that I am unbound. I am seen and acknowledged for my light and for my capacity to bring healing changes to the world. I let my light lead the way. I am light. I am love. I am free."
I don't know where to start reviewing Light Warrior. Perhaps with the fact I took notes as I read and even after revising those notes three times, I still have a twenty page document and a 12 page document for practical reference. There is *that much* valuable teaching in this book!
Note taking isn't necessary to make sense of anything at all about this book. It's clearly presented, easy to read, witty and wise in true Kyle Gray style. Being authentic is something he stresses, and he is certainly that.
If you've read the blurb, you've already got the gist of the premise. "A light worker is anyone who has heard the internal call to make a difference in the world. A light warrior is someone who chooses to respond to the call." And if you've gone on to read the reviews, you're probably already chosen your exact calling.
You don't have to be an angel whisperer, medium or psychic to need psychic protection and inner resources to stand your ground and make a positive difference in the world. You might have a book of your own to write, or a dream to clean up and revitalise the local park, the will to be an aid worker, a nurse or doctor... You can be many things Light Warrior.
For me, on my personal path, this book is worth its weight in gold. I didn't read one bit that didn't make perfect sense and frequently found myself saying out loud, "ha! I like that!" Gray teaches from the heart with just the right amount of humour and everything he says here, you can fully embrace.
I could go on for hours about the number of breakthroughs Light Warrior can help bring about but if you're going to read at length, read the book instead. It's the real deal.
This was the first book I've ever read by Kyle Gray, and through the course of reading it, I've purchased all of his other books as well. He presents such genuine and uplifting information in such a down to earth manner that his knowledge seems well beyond his earthly years. This is the book that the whole world needs to read, right now. I plan to read this again, take notes, put his exercises into action, and share my light with the world the best way I can. I've already recommended this book to others and shared his insights with others. I can't wait to get started on his other books. Seriously, buy this book, read it with an open mind, try some of the exercises, and watch miracles happen in your own life.
Passo a passo, indivíduo a indivíduo, fazemos a mudança no colectivo. Obra fundamental para quem dedica a sua vida a se transformar, conectar com a sua Essência e Verdade interior e com isso poder inspirar e ajudar outras pessoas a fazer o mesmo.
Ace introduction to this subject, full of clear explanations and step-by-step instructions. Includes a number of practices and prayers fully written out, so as a beginner I'm not left guessing or floundering. The author encourages you to speak from your heart, of course, but by spelling it out, it gives me the confidence to start.
Kyle Gray has an easy-to-read, relaxed writing style. Definitely recommend to anyone curious about this subject. This is probably too basic for anyone already well-versed in it.
The only thing it's missing is an index - I will probably make my own!
This book was amazing! I love Kyle's energy and his vibration and he teaches you a lot of exercises that will help you in your life to better yourself and raise your vibration and his encouragement to keep growing and make yourself better and why this is important is really uplifting. He shares a lot of personal experiences which I loved to hear about. I will definitely be looking for more of his books!
This book, more than any I have read in the past few years, resonated with me deeply. It is not through chance that I came across the book while walking through the bookstore.
Here is a very practical guide to how to assume your power, channel your light, and become a light worker (or in his terms, light warrior). If you have ever felt a call to serve, to bring change to the world, then this is a book for you.
This book was amazing. I will be writing a full review, but it has advanced me on my spiritual path and increased my awareness of my Spirit Guides and Angels. I would highly recommend to anyone currently on their Spiritual Journey looking for more on how to choose love in life and be of service to the world.
This book was such a game changer for me. It made me see things in a different light. Though I did feel a little bit of resistance around some things (facing fear), it didn't take away from my overall experience of the book. Certain practices resonated with me more than others but they helped me sort out what's right for me in my spiritual practice. I will definitely be reading this book again!
This is a fantastic resource for anyone looking for a "how to" handbook. It's equally a great read for anyone already practicing as a Light Warrior. Full of information, powerful insights and universal truths! Pick up this book!
This is a really uplifting and positive book by Kyle. I.would say its an essential for anyone on a spiritual or lightworker path. Also packed with several exercises to help with your source connection.
This book gave practical tools to live more in alignment and to let go of fear based thoughts. I felt so validated and held working through this book and will be reading it a second time and gifting it on. Thank you Kyle for creating this uplifting content.
What a great book and reference tool. I would recommended this to anybody who is interested in angels and spiritual guidance. Didn't want it to end. Great job Kyle.
I found this very enjoyable with lots of practical exercises and information to implement in my routine. The stories and examples brought perspective and insight.
