Ultra ideal-- I'd lick it. Tho poser material. I've traveled quite a bit, and never have I ever had such a hard time settling back into daily life as I am right now... and this book did not help at all! Ha! It's always funny to me how I'm so drawn to some places, and absolutely not at all to others. If I were to actually use this book, I'd just use it to find locations in a single spot I'd already planned to go to, rather than use it to chart a roadtrip. Stylistically, not the most inspiring, just because it feels redundant to me, but really, I'd wrap this book around me if I could.

Tried to read this book as slow as I could, but it’s easy to flip through quickly. Easily one of my new favorite travel books. From the vintage-looking photos and thick pages to the playlists and movie/wardrobe suggestions to prep for each trip, this guide spoke to me. Will definitely be re-reading and using to plan some road trips.

I absolutely loved this book. It’s gorgeous (although I wish there were even more photos), inspired me to book a few road trips, and I’ll be using it as my travel/fashion bible for years to come.

I can only hope the author, Andi makes more works of art similar to this one. And if anyone knows of books similar to this one, holler at me!

If you sift through all of the mentions of a boho or hipster lifestyle, this book is okay. I feel that all of the “what to wear” and capsule wardrobe sections only tell people how to wear costumes and have bizarre suggestions. My guess is this is what will date the book the most in the years to come.

It would be nice to have a small map at the beginning of each section to see where the cities are located. Underneath all the flowery bohemian language is a vague travel guide for each of the nine road trips featured. The Seattle section is definitely lacking.

Upon finishing the book I’m left with a mild sensation of wanderlust and I couldn’t tell you much about specifics mentioned in this book. It’s definitely a check-out-from-the-library kind of book.

Wanderful is a beautiful compilation of unique and stunning places and the way that the book is pieced together metaphorically reflects the beauty of the places the book outlines. Andi Eaton has obviously carefully handpicked each of the adventures and places featured in this book and her work does not go unnoticed. At first I believed this book to be simply a coffee table book, but I ended up reading the book cover-to-cover and I took careful notes of everything that interested me so that hopefully someday soon I can visit each of the places. Not only does the author take note of places to visit, but she also includes book recommendations in preparation for traveling to specific locations, as well as, song recommendations and packing tips! I would recommend Wanderful to anyone who loves to meaningfully travel and who enjoys off the beaten path recommendations!

I found this book to be the stuff of dreams. Granted, the audience is a much younger reader and traveler than I am, but for someone who enjoys bohemian fashion and a laid-back lifestyle, and a person who loves to shop in quirky places, I found this book to be inspirational. The road trips themselves are not that great, with distances between destinations at up to 9 hours and no maps included, but the ideas for books to read, movies to see, music to add to a playlist, and fashion styles to wear, I loved it. I also loved the notes for quirky and charming places to see and boutiques and specialty shops to explore. And the vintage photographs are so much fun. I loved it and will keep this book around forever for future inspiration. :-)

I have to admit that I didn’t read this all the way through...yet. I fully intended to and got about halfway through and then the coronavirus hit and all dreams of travel got put on hold! Luckily, I was able to do a road trip from San Diego to Humboldt county right before it all went down and this book definitely served as an inspiration for some of our stops (including the Madonna Inn!). This book is so visually stimulating and I love and have already visited so many of the places mentioned. I want to visit more and when I do, I will use this book as a guide book!

Fun travel read, especially if you are in your 'youth'. How to pack, dress, savor and enjoy travel, whether for a day, weekend or week.

Wish it had more pictures of the destinations not necessarily of the people traveling. I'll look at it again if I go to any of the cities mentioned in the book.

Loved this beautifully-presented guide to some of America's most inspiring travel destinations. Andi takes us through pretty much everywhere you'd want to go, from the lush, green Pacific Northwest to dusty New Mexico, the soulful South, alternative Florida, artsy Texas, high-vibe California and majestic Maine. This travel guide is both of the moment in that it has recommendations for where to shop and eat, but also timeless in its reverence for the style and enduring spirit of each place visited. I also enjoyed the features of the girls who inhabit these dream destinations; it's fun to explore new places as a visitor, but so much more interested to really get behind what makes a place tick and the spirit of the people who live there. Fun and stylish, I'm using this to both plan and pack for my next road trip!

This book is such an inspiration ~ mixing travel, style and the bohemian spirit. I love reading about all the different parts of the US and I can't wait to start planning one of the suggested routes. I'm going to start with Savannah! Andi has written such a beautiful book. Just reading it makes me happy and excited to be a girl!
