A nice adaptation of The Lego Ninjago Movie. This book, narrated by Master Wu, gives a brief introduction to the various ninja, Lloyd, Nya, Cole, Jay, Kai, and Zane, as well as the villain, Lord Garmadon. Then the book basically summarizes the first fight between the ninja and Garmadon.
It sets up the movie nicely.
Pictures were okay. They appear to be taken directly from the film so some of them (especially fight scenes or those with lots of movement) look a little fuzzy.
Overall, nice book for fans of Lego Ninjago.

This is the type of book my 5-year-old son always wants to buy from the book fair or the Scholastic catalog. This time I gave in and let him buy it. It's completely uninteresting to me, but very interesting to him. In his case, I can't even really use the "as long as it gets him reading" excuse because he really enjoys books and doesn't need the added incentive of a TV/movie tie in. But occasionally I think it's fine to indulge his desire to page through this type of book.
