Superheroes and the Bible? YES PLEASE! This superhero team explores Bible stories to present real-life applications and problem solving for children ages 6-10!

I loved that this book had both male and female superheroes. It's good for children to have heroes of the faith for them to look up to.

Each story concludes with a challenge for the child. An example of the challenges would be to write a letter to someone feeling blue or to go through toys to donate to others in need.

What I love the most is that these heroes show how putting on the full armor of Christ makes one a superhero of the faith and that Christ is the biggest superhero of all!

The illustrations are awesome and children should have a lot of fun with this one. I know my girls sure have!

A complimentary copy of this book was provided by B&H Bloggers. I was not required to write a positive review, and have not been compensated for this. All opinions are my own.

Bibleman Bible Storybook is written by author Mike Nappa and illustrated by Dennis Edwards. The cover of this book is cushioned hardback and the book is perfect for 6-10-year-olds; both boys and girls. There is a cast of characters that lead the child through the book. Bibleman's goal is to lead children to Christ and his weapon of choice is the Word of God. Biblegirl's tactics are to develop Bible lessons and oppose villains. Cypher's goal is to help kids live for Christ and his favorite slush-ez flavor is cantaloupe-bubblegum. Lastly, Melody's favorite scripture is Colossians 3: 23-25.

What I liked most about the book are the colorful drawings, the BibleTeam Challenges, and the scripture verses placed throughout the book. What I didn't like about the book is that the drawings for Adam and Eve partially show their nakedness while living in Eden.

The text of this book uses simple, short paragraphs. This organization is sufficient for the stories told. The literary tool used is imagery which is helpful in recalling each story. The cover portrays the story of David and Goliath just before David kills Goliath with his slingshot and one stone. There is a total of 25 stories in this book.

I recommend this storybook to children ages 6-10 and their caretakers.

My 4 YO has really enjoyed reading this at bedtime. We usually read a story or sometimes 2 every night. There are activities to do after each story, but we haven’t done those yet but will later on. We really enjoy the TV series on Great American Pure Flix too! I’m sure we’ll reread this Bible storybook again in the future!
