Murder is something that has been going on since the beginning of time. Some people blame this on a problem with the brain, stating that the murderer must have been wired wrong. Others believe that something terrible must have happened to these people early on in life. However, the truth is that sometimes, people just snap, they go into a rage and they become something short of human...
It is at this point that common sense does not matter any longer, and the murderer begins acting as if they are some kind of animal, thirsty for the blood of their victims.
However, while we know that this happens, we tell ourselves that it will be balanced out, that if someone commits a murder, they will face judgment, they will be punished for the crimes that they have committed.
What happens, however, when the murderer is not punished? When the case goes, cold and remains unsolved?
While these cases have gone cold, there is still hope that someday, somehow, someone will be punished for these horrific crimes...
Okay, so this wasn't an Ann Rule book. I wasn't expecting a great detailed read for 82 pages, but I found it too basic. The writing style was very basic, and not a lot of detail. Also, I had a problem with the author overusing the word 'however', especially when it didn't make any sense to use it in some sentences.
Enjoyed this book immensely especially as some of the crimes I hadn't heard about before. It would be amazing if some of these crimes could now be solved with the new technology and DNA that is available now.
