When university lecturer Hazel Jones takes the most popular of her female students as a lodger, she expects a procession of attractive men to follow. Knowing what Tiggy gets up to, she is unable to resist reading it. It's not quite what she expects, but the revelations in the diary quickly lead her down a path she never expected to take.

I thought Bound in Blue by Monica Belle was a good story and was hot to read but also suffered a few problems. While the story was easy to read and moved along nicely, I didn't like having to suffer through several long lectures about the environment and topics like animal testing, eating vegetarian, soil erosion and the evils of energy production. The tragic ending was also disappointing. Hazel's desire for her hands to be tied behind her back during sex made for very hot sex scenes. I especially liked the evolution of her character and the way she overcomes her societal conditioning. Overall I liked the book and would recommend reading it - I just wouldn't recommend buying it.

A very good book which is a cut above the vast majority of erotic novels. It combines great narrative structure with fizzing sex --- I especially love Tiggy's spanking in the last chapter!
