My dad stole a fortune from his best friend. Now I'm paying the price. His former best friend offers me a choice. Either he can kill my father or I can spend a year living in his house. Under him. To save my dad's life, I agree to give him my body. I move in with him. I never agreed to give him my heart, but I think he's stealing it anyway.
The first two books were great ! This third one was reaching too hard . The plot was so scattered . I don’t even know how to explain what was wrong with this book , that’s how bad it was . No love connection ( not even a building kind of love ) before they married . The way She betrayed Him but then thought that he was in the wrong for throwing her out ? The way she chose to protect her father that she never really saw and spoke to over her imaginary feeling of love . I’m just gonna stop because rehashing the story is just irritating. Let’s hope book 3 is better Yeah ?
This was my first read by this author and for some reason I couldn't get into it. It had the mafia aspect I love, it had older Hero Younger heroine, the whole blackmailed to bed kinda thing. This was a miss for me.
Another awesome book from Alyse that is hard to put down! The storyline between Iacopo and Kelly is great and the action keeps the pages turning. A must read that I'm positive I'll read many more times. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Read on Radish. Very sad that a story that could’ve amazing wasn’t edited well. Multiple inconsistencies and pronoun use was not correct. Author, please go back and edit, you have great potential.
Kelly's father stole a lot of money from his best friend and boss, a mafia don. The money is gone and her dad has no way to pay the money back. Kelly agrees to live with Iacopo to pay her dad's debt. Iacopo has known Kelly her entire life and soon realizes that she is a beautiful young woman. When his home is attacked and Kelly is injured Iacopo decides to claim Kelly as his wife. Sexy characters and twists in the plot. A quick read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
the story was ok it started out okay but then as you start to get into it there's a lot of jumping around and a lot was left out think it could have been a little longer to explain alot that went on in the story
