Garuda Purana

Rate this book
Garuda Purana is one of the most sacred Mahapuranas for the devout Hindus. It gains importance because of a single It is the only Purana which gives a detailed description of the, postmortem conditions and rituals as believed by this faith. However, it is a belief as spread by the dogmatic priestly class.
The fact is that the Garuda Purana contains many more details other than these. It reveals the consequences of an action in a very graphic and logical way. While most of the puranas tell one what to do, it also tells us what one should not do.

Read it if you want to read The Author's point of view Not real book. He thinks he is better than sages

He has changed complete meaning of the book. For him everyone is Greedy, Foolish and what not. Start with preface, it only starts with lot of negativities towards Gurus, Pandits, Sages and everyone.

And then comes his version. Which has nothing to do with what this book is meant to induce in you. Its just ego ladden and believe me or you are fool kind of literature.

The first page itself is a put off where he starts with words like Greed etc.

Read it if you want to read his version and not the real book.

Very nicely scripted by chaturvedi jee.In today's busy world we must realise that whatever work we do it should have ethical values in it and no disruption should be done to the very nature created by God himself.Every one should read this book to know the very purpose of birth on this great motherland .

Discern to Get the Amrita

One needs to filter out the adulterants or impurities that came through time and other factors to get the true form of the book.
The author has done a great job, but some spelling mistakes are there in Vishnu Sahastranaam.. so it was little difficult to find the real names sometimes. And it was overall good. Yeah.
