Three months after Civil War, Bucky Barnes is forced out of his cryogenic state. The Avengers believe it's safe to hide him with Dakota Summers. Or so they think.
I’m kind of guessing on the dates, because I’m writing this review late, but I read this about a month- two months ago and the story is STILL stuck in my head. Like I mentioned in my review of another fanfiction by this author, I don’t normally go for fanfiction. But this story blew me away!
I love The Winter Soldier. The story of Buckey Barnes is freaking fantastic, in the comics and in the MCU we see on film today, and this author did not disappoint in this book! She didn’t alter the story to the point of it being unrecognizable, and she rewrote elements and added pieces in a way that seamlessly includes them into a story I already loved!
Seriously, I don’t have anything particularly bad to say about this author. She’s done excellent work following a dream she’s obviously passionate about, and I can’t wait to jump back into Wattpad and read more of her works!!!
I honestly cannot get enough of this Fanfiction. It def. shows Bucky in a new light. This story highlights his pain and trauma through the eyes of a therapist but it also, shows that even through all of that he is capable of love, and passion and friendship. I really hope this is something we get to see in the Marvel movies and Tv shows.
