I AM A COMPLETE MORON STAR FOR READING THIS BOOK!
This is the warning I gave myself and I ignored it and read it anyways because I had mistakenly added it to my reading list.

I think, I will always have issues with the whole Cane and Pain and wanting to see his "little girl" cry, aspect of Daddy kink.
Now, I don't mind some light Bondage, but this book description...
"But brats are always hard to train, and Daddy's girl has earned the cane. Time to break out the whips and chains, get some blood pulsing through baby's veins. Think twice before you disobey, pretty girls in tears make Daddy's day..."
Now I'm sure for some this sounds HOT and naughty but I don't think my naughty side is that well developed yet.
For me it's just NO!

Plus side, I can at least rate it and with the whole disgusting mess of a plot (that I completely saw through), and the whole painful sex on top of all that, I was left feeling dirty.
This is NOT A ROMANCE. It's more a murder mystery with erotica (that I didn't find erotic at all).

Very dark, twisted, filthy dirty story. It needs a strong stomach.
From where can I start with this one?
First of all the 18 years old virgin Lily is kidnapped by a handsome -much older than her- stranger and she is thrown away in a cellar. There, she will experience pain, beating, rape, humiliation, hunger and thirst, being dirty for days and days until her will is broken. And her spirit won’t be strong for long for sure.
Furthermore, she will develop the usual Stockholm syndrome and she will depend on her kidnaper (body and soul) who likes being called daddy and moreover likes playing DD/lg dynamic games with his pretty captive.
The weird thing is that nobody looks for her –although she has disappeared for days- and very soon Lily will realize that her family has a few dirty secrets and that this cellar is not that unfamiliar. That is the creepiest part of the story actually.
If you are confused with the book cover with the sugar hearts and think this is smut, you will be mistaken and disappointed. This is forced submission at its darkest and its kinkiest.
I would call this book a psychological thriller and not a dark romance. It was very hard for me to read it, but I think that if you like this kind of f@cked up stories, you will be ecstatic with this one.

So this isn't my first Daddy kink book. The other book I read kind of set the bar for me on this one. I was intrigued by the cover and title but it DOES NOT fit the story. Did you know this was a kidnapping book?
I also don't mind a good kidnapping book but I felt like the Daddy kink didn't really work with the storyline. There wasn't any Daddy play except for him making her call him Daddy.
The Heroine is a slutty virgin. Kind of hard to believe a virgin that's never done anything be willing to go to an alley so a guy can do the nasty on her. But I go with it. She's kidnapped and he has to break her in.
The writing was really choppy and way too fast. Either this book is a full novel or a smut novella. So I would have liked if the book was longer with character development or shorter with just sex. I actually would have preferred for smut novella bc the sex was hot.

The man is hot I'll give you that, but this cover isn't a very good representation of the story inside. One look at that cover and you expect something sweet like those yummy Valentine heart candies...ya...that is SOOO not what awaits you inside. 
This book was a dirty, twisted filthy little mind fuck. Kidnapping. Dubious consent. Humiliation. All wrapped up in a SMOKIN' HOT DD/lg package. I loved every flipping minute of this book.

2* unpopular & spoiler STAR!
Well, obviously I was blind not to read the blurb. I was too excited to read this because,... damn the cover! Mysterious and sexy also has Daddy's kink. I HAVE NEVER READ a dark romance with Daddy/little girl kink. This was really new for me and my first read from both authors. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me.
❌ Lily was simply spoiled rich brat. It didn't reveal much information except her mother technically owned the town. She's super horny for a virgin and didn't hesitate to hooked up with a stranger who wears expensive suit. One kiss... and BAM! Take my virginity. Stupid much?
❌ I admitted the plot didn't like what I've expected. Everything happened so fast. Lily just simply attracted to the mysterious man even after he sexually abused her. Law mindfuck her pretty bad to call him 'Daddy'. Over-exaggerating.
❌ Law was a predator. He didn't ashamed of it. In the end, Law told Lily that he was a Master who trained spoiled brat into slave. He also has dark past that he couldn't avoid and regret until now. But Lily changed him and he's in love with her.
❌ Of course, there were sexual activities. A lot. Well, it was pretty HOT also disturbing at the same time. I just couldn't connect with the 'Daddy' thing with Law. Just because of their age difference? Or the fact, Law was her step-father that she never know? Hmm.
Conclusion? The premise is intriguing, but the execution was weak. The ending was too rushed and 'coincidental'. Nicely-written but I couldn't connect with the story. There is no emotion between main characters. The truth about Lily's fucked up family slowly unveiled. But so many loose ends. Trust me, the evil one is always one step ahead. Law was trying to be her dark protector even in the end, they turned desperate and powerless. I was surprised that I finished this story. End of my unpopular opinion. Peace out!

Oh to hell with it, I just finished writing a full review on this one finally and then threw the whole thing out with the kitchen sink because I had enough problems with this one that rereading my initial review I couldn't figure out how I ended up writing a college thesis on the damn thing! So here's my shorter and random, slightly discombobulated contribution:
I usually dig Isabella Starling and the captive and DD/lg's tropes but this one was just to cray cray for me and not in a compelling ride kind of way. I mean more in the fact that it just had too many damn hick ups for my suspension of disbelief to accept it and people, my suspension of disbelief is pretty damn big. Lily is the naive 18 year old, Vaughn is the older man that wants her, gets her and 'trains' her. Emily is Lily's mom, who in this particular case, happens to play an important role in the story.
It's tagged dark romance and all that good stuff, but I'd hazard to say the mystery or suspense is the bigger element in the book and a huge part of where the 'are you serious' element threw me off track. Vaughn is redeemable, Lily is what she is and Emily? Just take her out back and put a bullet through her head...
Long story short, it had facets that I liked and a trope that I usually enjoy but it got outweighed for me by the things that just didn't jive.
Still, it's Isabella Starling and it kept me going so 3 stars.

This was my first read by both Isabella Starling and Demi Donovan and it was also my first foray into the darker realm of DD/lg. With the mention of caning in the book blurb, I was a bit fearful that the pain level in this book would be too much for me (not in general, I have read books with torture elements but I've never read a Daddy book that got into a lot of pain) and while Lily did like some pain I thought it was well done and not too over the top.

Fuck, I love it when you cry, babygirl.Lily is a privileged young woman, quite possibly even spoiled. We don’t get to spend a lot of time with her in her normal life, she quickly meets a broody stranger and we fall into their story together. When Lily first meets Law she’s attracted to his darkness, to his aura of authority, and to the age difference between them. Once she is fully immersed in Law’s web Lily has to decide whether falling for Law is going to be safe for her sanity, her body’s already decided to succumb to Law.
You shouldn't try and play with men who are old enough to be your daddy, little girl.Lawson has encountered girls like Lily before and he knows that with a little effort she’ll be a good girl for the right Daddy, and he’s determined to be that man. His relationship with Lily is unconventional and made worse by the people around them. Law has to struggle with who he is, and the path that he’s set himself and Lily on.
I guess it was poetic in a way, trapped by both the mother and the daughter, and in such completely opposite ways.Most of this story was really good. It was super hot imo, darkish and had me curious about what was to come. Near the end of this story it felt like things sort of lost direction. All the sudden there were five different things happening all at once. Most of those things weren’t well developed enough for me to believe them, I just felt like they all got tossed in last second.
I think you were made for this . . . Made to be a little fucktoy, trained and used however I see fit.Ultimately, this was a hot read. There was some craziness at the end which did effect my overall enjoyment but nothing that would keep me from checking out other books from these authors.

I gave this a try because some of the reviews I read said it wasn't like the usual daddy stories (and it was free).... I don't like the usual daddy stories (mostly bc the age play and daddy stuff is just not my cup of anything), and I can admit this one was somewhat different and at times even sort of interesting with the plot (though that took a hard left to WTF Land at the end)... it still just left me wanting to take a shower after I read it.

When the married H kidnaps the virgin h (who did I mention is also his step-daughter?!) and locks her up in the basement and gets his jollies off by keeping her naked and miserable, I'm not a fan! When the H refers to his h as a whore, slut, slaps her around, and loves watching her cower in fear, I'm not a fan!
Daddy kink is one on my guilty pleasures and every once in a while I come across a really good read. Daddy's Girl had a pretty flawlessly hot cover and the blurb sounded intriguing enough but holy crap was this a train wreck.
Lily, our h was a doormat who needs some serious therapy and Law is a twisted nut job. Now I'm off to rid my Kindle of this turd nugget and moving on to the next read. Hopefully with better luck!

Isabella Starling is one of my favorite authors, So when I finally sat down to read this book, I was excited and couldn’t wait for a dark, twisted tale to fall in love with. I had such high hopes for his book. Instead, there was a house of Horrors.
After I picked up my jaw from the floor of what I just read. Let me say this is not at all what I would have expected. First of all, this is not your typical captive then becomes pet dark romance.
Lily is abducted by Lawson, He has been waiting a long time to make Lily as his own. Lawson has plans to break and rebuild her. Train her Lily wakes up in a small room in a cellar, her own personal nightmare. She is being punished, physically and mentally, and left in her own fifth for days.
There were parts where I kept saying “ Oh my God, REALLY !!!” Emily seriously could have been dealt with different manner. That part dragged on too long for my liking.
All in all, I did like some accepts of the book. They did outweigh the WTH moments of the book.

Erotic, primal, intense, sensual these words can definitely describe this daddy story filled with hot scenes and sexy dialogues. That's a story that can soak many panties and fill your mind with many kinky scenes, it's like a sexual fantasy!!
In addition the authors did such a great job which can make you to want to be Lilly and live this kinky fantasy even for some minutes.. Law played the perfect dominant, possessive, "dark" Daddy and he most certainly made me fall in love with him and discover what secrets he is hiding making the story even more suspenseful.
If you want something dark, sexy and a little bit taboo then that the story for you, believe you're gonna devour it and as for me well I'm looking forward to read the next stories the both authors will create!!

This was a walk (or read) on the dark, dark side. The kink is up sky high with kidnapping, call me 'daddy' issues, break her completely down before building up again & down right sadist behavior. I do not condone beating & is usually a big turn off for me but for some reason it worked in this twisted book. Law is obsessed with owning Lily & will go to any length to see that happen. He has spent his adult life breaking young virgin women into submissive sex toys for older richer men. He aims for Lily to be the last. He intends to keep Lily for himself. Lily is a spoiled rich bratty eighteen year old virgin who has no clue what she is walking into when she flirts with a handsome strange at a club one night. She wakes the next morning tied to a chair in a bleak cellar & the breaking of Lily begins. This story talks many twists & turns as Law gains Lily's trust & obedience. The biggest shock isn't how Law treats Lily but why Law was pushed to take Lily in the first place. Yet when Lily is in actual danger Law has to decide to let her go for her own good in order to protect her like he has promised. Their time together has changed them both & walking away may not be as easy as either of them think. This book is brutal at times & should be read with caution if you don't like that kind of kink. There may be some triggers for some readers. This books is meant for mature readers.

Holy Mother of Yummy!! This book will knock your socks off!! It will make you sweat and it will make you want to drink something literally ice cold to quench the fire in your blood …this book will make you want a daddy of your own, after reading this book!

Lawson sees Lily long before he kidnaps Lily her- thinks of a way to kidnap her as a way to “save” her and then Lawson kidnaps Lily and keeps her in a cellar where he aims to break her and make her into the perfect submissive – one who will only call him Daddy. If that isn’t hot, then I don’t know what is. Only problem is, there is more to this story than a Daddy fetish. He was supposed to break her and set her up to move her on…Only Lawson cant do that.. Lily is his Achilles heel , his soft spot, and he wants to keep her, forever but there are forces that are preventing him from doing so and when you find out who that is and why—OMG, you will, like me, wanna give them a beat down.
There is so much intrigue and suspense wrapped into this story. Oh and the passion and kink is Off the chain hot! The main characters are fantastic- they had so many levels that I believed in them and still felt when the book ended, there was more to tell of their story. I loved every line, every word of this kinky tale of love, angst, kink, drama, passion and revenge tale that I couldn’t stop reading until the very end and then went and re-read it again because it was just that hot and fabulous.

I really struggle to find the perfect dd/lg book. I had high hopes for this one but unfortunately it didn’t live up to what I wanted. I don’t mind dark reads but I really wasn’t expecting a dark read. Admittedly, I picked this one up without reading reviews or really even the blurb. I know I have read reviews of it but it’s been some time and I had forgotten anything I had read. That said, it wasn’t awful. And I take responsibility for the low rating because it didn’t meet my expectations. It’s very well written, has some great twists that I never saw coming, the characters were developed and the pace was perfect.

This book is a very dark and depraved romance. Very well-written, but much darker than I expected. Some of the scenes were downright uncomfortable to read and I’m not exactly squeamish when it comes to reading these types of books. Just be sure you know what you’re getting into. It’s intense, violent and dark.

I am a HUGE fan of Isabella Starlings work and this book is by far my favorite. Now that being said if you are sensitive or have triggers to darker themes when it comes to sex that border on physical pain this might not be the book for you, all Isabellas book have a high level of sex but, this has the most Daddy kink of all her writing. I am not one who gets offended by to many scenarios in books but, I can see why some might find this one a bit much. If not then this is a very good book.

Nope.
I just finished this book and let's just say I'm not happy at all. In fact I'm disgusted by the idea in this book. I mean, sure Stockholm Syndrome is in a way, normal to be brought up in dark romance. But in this book, I don't understand the appeal that the 'heroine' sees in our so-called Hero. Sure he liked to hurt, dominance and "punished" his baby girl but seriously? I didn't enjoy the taboo vibe in this book. Not even a single bit. I even pushed myself to finish it so I can get the relief that I want yet I receive none. Don't like it.
I've read several baby/Daddy themed romance and they're all naughtily good. Forbidden fruit usually attracts more flies and it's exactly like this theme. But this book hugely disappointing and I'm so sorry that it's not my cup of tea.

This book is just right for lovers of dark reads!
Lily is blind to the world around her. She is fresh, innocent, and dark all rolled up into one cute little package.
Law is a man on a mission to find the other part of his soul and his soul only has eyes for Lily.
I couldn't put this book down I had to know what was going to happen next. The evil in this book will both shock you and disturb you all in one breath. This is my first book by these authors and I will be getting more of their work.
Heat level is 5 Flaming stars!

This was definitely dark and twisted. There are some flippin crazy people in the world. But when the bigger monster isn't even the guy you thought it was? I mean this book was shocking and whoa.
But did I mention the connection and the heat? And if you don't mind really taboo, mind-blowing craziness, this is a goooooood one.

Beware though, it's not for everyone if you don't like the edgy subjects where the darkness almost consumes you then this is not the story for you, but if you do then get this book because it doesn't get any better than this.
Lily is a brat, she seems to have everything she needs, but not even realising it, she is looking for something else and she find it with Law.
He knows what he wants and how to get it, he seemed so in control the whole time, and there isn't anything sexier than that.
He owns her, and it seems there's nothing she can do to escape. But we always forget the most important thing, she is the one giving him the power, she chooses to submit and that makes it the sweetest reward for the Dom.
Law gives her the ultimate pleasure, he knows what she needs and she has to sacrifice her freedom for that at first maybe, but the reward is so good that it might make you think twice about it.
The sex scenes drove me crazy, Isabella has this way of making you feel like you are right there with them, you feel the pain and the pleasure alongside them.

I really loved the cover of this book. This was one dark read but the candy hearts on the cover gave it some extra eye candy.
I started reading this book and I figured out what was going on before I reached the part where it started explaining everything. I will say that I was in shock though. I just can't understand and can't seem to wrap my mind around it. I will warn you that this is a very dark read and if you don't like this kind of book then don't read it. I enjoyed it.

This book isn't for everyone may have triggers for some and if you're easily offended then i don't think you'll enjoy this Dark Daddy/Lg read.
I have no problem with Daddy kink what so ever and have read quite a few books about this taboo genre. And to be honest i expected this book to be along the same lines as others i have read but i was wrong so so wrong this is definitely the Darker side to Daddy/Lg that i have read before!!

He is the daddy that she has always needed and wanted even though she didn't know it. He will make sure that she becomes the woman he knows she can be.
Lily is the typical rich brat her mum owns the town which gives her privileges or so she thinks!!! A night out with friends changes them feelings. This night takes Lily on a journey that is dark and scary. And changes her life forever!! As much as Lily could be naive she did have strength and didn't just give in.

4.5 stars!! Wowza! This was a hot one!! Edgy and thrilling too. After a night out Lily finds herself locked in a basement and at the mercy of a madman. He wants to be called daddy and is determined to break her down. But things aren't always as they seem and Lily starts learning the truth about the man she cares about and the mother she thought she knew. Kept me on the edge of my seat and made it nearly impossible to put down.

I will say right off the bat this book IS NOT for everyone. That being said I really enjoyed it. I don't have an issue with the whole Daddy/baby girl thing. The kink factor was hot!! The whole pain thing is not everyone's cup of tea, but I looked past that and enjoyed the storyline. Yes Law was a monster, but he so totally redeemed himself to me. Lily may have came of as a spoiled little brat, but underneath was a strong young woman!!!
To date this is my favourite book by Isabella Starling!!
