Volume 4 still has the same pros and cons as the previous three volumes.

Pro's: Interesting ideas. More details and story than the anime etc.

Cons: Still a bit of fan service with overly descriptive exposition on certain characters anatomical features. Harem of adoring girls doting on the hero.

Volume 4's first half focuses on another leg of the party's long Journey into an impoverished region. The second half upon bringing that region back from the brink and huge battles.

There's still a lot of seemingly superfluous exposition - but towards the end of the volume the pace of the exposition flows a lot faster.

4 out of 5.

This Isekai, Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, is one of the best I have read so far. It starts off with the protagonist, Satou who is a programmer at a gaming company falling asleep under his bench at work after working himself to fatigue and then he finds himself in a fantasy world similar to the game he was working on, and he soon realises he is not dreaming but really there. He soon is in a harem situation, starting with 3 slave girls he rescued.

Satou Pendragon

Satou travels the Muno Barony in his quest to reach the capital city and maybe find out why and how he came to a parallel world. Satou meets the Baron’s daughter, Karina, and she begins to travel with the group to find giants.

Not everything is going well, though. Another Lesser Demon took over the Barony as an imposter. After some events, Satou gains a family name, a title, and the affections of even more girls.

as much as I like this series this volume really didn't do it for me, it seemed like there was was to much going on that I wasn't able to be invested in any one aspect of the story. the characters are starting to get a big more fleshed out like Liza and Lulu which is a plus, but overall I'd say this volume is a bit down for me.

New and better story telling compared to the web version

I love the changes to make the story more coherent and the details easier to digest and more intact. I love this! Keep them coming!

This volume is better than the previous volumes in regards of its pace, how all the plot threads link up and how the the locations in the world from one to the other. The characters development was good too.

Excellent

It's good and a bit sad to be beyond the point of the anime. Main thing I like about this series is how the MC just wants to travel and sight see despite being so overpowered he could probably conquer the world

Satou and crew are still on their tour of the country.

They've met a girl who is the one of the leader's daughter. I hated her. I really disliked her wishy-washy ways. After Liza's bad@$$ness, as well as the other girls, she made me want to smack her.

I liked the Giants and their land.

The climatic fight scenes were too fast and I wish they had a bit more substance with Satou fighting alone.

Still a good book.

A treat

This is an isekei through and though. You have your moe, your harem, an our OP MC. Our hero posses a self-awareness that lends itself to some great moments and saves the reader from having to bang their heads against a desk out of desperation. The characters are adorable and thoroughly charming, our hero is smart about his adventures, and I look forward to reading the following installments.

Amazing book.

Another great book. This is my first light novel series. I am hooked. I heard about this on the forums for the anime with the same name. Amazing.
