Another book in a series on ghost towns in British Columbia. For those who maybe don't know ghost towns are once more or less thriving towns that sad to day basically no longer exist. Most of these were mining towns and were basically doomed when the mines either ran out of ore or what was still there was not economical to mine. The book is set up with each town getting its own write-up detailing its history and who the major players involved with the town were. This was an informative volume. It should especially appeal to those who have an interest in the history British Columbia, particularly the part of the province covered in this volume. Some of the same people or organizations get mentioned in the write-ups of different communities. This gives you an idea of how important certain individuals were to the development of the province. So if you are interested in Canadian history in general or British Columbia history in particular then I recommend this volume to you.
