Paul Smith is a great storyteller and a fantastic artist. His ability to capture the crowded intensity of a Tokyo subway station gives that whole scene a realistic feel, despite his cartoony art style. He has a great command of the human form, and draws a ninja in heavy padded robes, but still distinguishable as a female in disguise.

Fans have clamored for more Smith X-Men since his seminal run, and we finally get this five-issue miniseries.
