I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Stress. We all have it. This book is a fun and insightful way to understanding this crutch we all stumble with. I liked the ideas and coping in this book. It was so clever and there were moments where I found myself laughing because it is so relate-able. I am a character driven reader so this book just didn't grasp me as much as I would have liked. Also, it is considered self-help which is definitely out of my wheelhouse.

Overall, for this being a self-help book I did enjoy it but I am ready to go back to fictional worlds to escape. I highly recommend this for a funny, quirky, well laid out book to help with stress.

Sure, this book is written by women, for women, but what I love is that it's written by REAL women! These women aren't traditional experts on stress in the sense that they aren't psychiatrists or psychologists, but they, along with most of us, have lived stress and are experts in their own stress. if you're looking for a one-size fits all stress management model, this isn't the book for you. what it will give you is how each of these women lived their stress and its manifestations, and how they were able to identify and most importantly, learn to live through it. this book offers a variety of tips and tricks that can be used by real people living real situations, take one or take it all, but either way it's well worth the read!

I didn’t enjoy this book, many of the authors solutions to stress for women was to get a divorce. I found the book was by many white women who didn’t really notice their own privilege. I mean it’s easy to say, “yeah quit your job and start your own business when you have a two year old, follow your dreams!”- when you have finances or family support to back you up. It isn’t realistic for many people.

I really wanted more tangible suggestions for reducing stress I guess. I did like the two Indian authors who wrote 2 essays - they had some helpful comments on setting your own expectations and not trying to meet others standards for us as women.

Ultimately it took me three years to finally finish this book, not a great sign of good writing.

Amazing quick read! Such insightful, raw thoughts. Many I could identify with. I did find it a but curious why there's 3 co-authors with the same last name though...
