As reviewed by my 7 y.o. son (with some gentle suggestions:

The author did a good job of making the book continue the story about how Jaime and Tom went to the cave and ended up in Dinosaur Cove. The cave made them go back in time about 65 million years ago. I like how in Book #2, the author added a new dinosaur. This time the author added a Triceratops! Jaime and Tom rode the Triceratops to the termite mounds where they got into some trouble. It was a fun-filled book with dinosaurs ("Put a period!" he says as he runs away).

The boys go back to Dinosaur Cove to continue mapping it out. Wanna is adorable and saves their bag when they fall into the river running away from a Triceratops, who is trying to get the termites off of its body. I'd imagine prehistoric termites would be a lot bigger, but maybe not.

I enjoyed this book because I like sandwiches. I did not like this book because I do not like dinosaurs. I also enjoyed this book because the only dinosaurs I kind of like is the triceratops.

This is a wonderful story about two boys and their love for dinosaurs that lead them to a world where dinosaurs still exist. They have wonderful and scary adventures.

Another cute book, a tad repetitive from the first one though. But again the main characters in the book my son and I read were Jamie and Tess. 🤷‍♀️

After gobbling up the first book, I was elated to find out about the second. I was not disappointed! If only I could have heard about the later ones as well. Perhaps I’ll read them too someday even though I’m older :)

Love these books for my 5 year old boy that is obsessed with dinosaurs. This is book 2 in the series:

Amazon Product Description: The boys return to the dinosaur world looking for adventure. It looks like there's only one way to avoid getting squashed: they'll have to hitch a ride on a dinosaur.

My Dino loving 4 year old loves Dinosaur cove chapter books. An easy read, lots of dinosaurs to learn about, each book focuses on one type, in this case Triceratops. Little readers will learn more about paleontology and various dinosaurs while following the exploits of Tom and Jaime. Along the lines of Magic Tree house, but with more adventure and a bit more focused as each book is on dinosaurs. Great to read a chapter or 2 at bedtime

Finished reading this one to Jack last night. He truly loved it, and is looking forward to book three from the library.

In the Dinosaur Cover series two children find their way back into the past through a cave, and return to the age of the dinosaur's. This time they run into a herd of Triceratops, giant termites and a waterfall.

Ideal chapter book for grades 1-3 for those youngsters who love dinosaurs.

When the boys come back to dinosaur world, a herd of triceratops charges right through the boys lunch. They figured out that the safest place is on the dinosaur or they would get trampled. They have a lot of adventures on the triceratops. to know what they are, you have to read the book!

I love this book! The series of dinosaur cove is a good series to learn about dinosaurs.

In this book, Jamie & Tom made a map of dinosaur cove. They found a herd of Triceratops marching & they saw some things that looked like house and wanted to get in there, so they used the triceratops as their hitch ride.

Yiğenim için aldım ama kendimi okurken buldum. Tek endişem çocukların ısırılıpta yaraların kocaman şiştiği, irin topladığının söylediği yer korkutmasa iyidir. Bunun dışında bilmeyeceği kelimeler var keza benim bile bilmediğim.

This book didn't give any dinosaur facts like I was expecting. The plot was simple enough and exciting enough for Davey to enjoy. The best thing about this book is that it has a map of Dino World. Davey was obessed about the map. Probably will be checking out more of these.

This was the first book of this series that I have read. C and I enjoyed reading it together. It has great end-of-chapter hangers to keep the reader going. It reads a lot like Magic Treehouse books, but much more fluently. A good read-aloud!

This is along the lines of Magic Treehouse. It was a perfect read aloud for my 1st grader and preschooler.

A better entry than the first book. It seemed a bit less scattered with a more focused plot and used the dinosaurs better to move along the story.

Maybe I would have liked the book better if I would have started with the first book. I can see how children that like dinosaurs might like the series.
