The Top Ten of Everything 2010
Russell Ash

What are you top ten books and movies? Read this book and find out what the world thinks in the Top Ten of Everything 2010. I have just read the 2010 version and it sounds just as good. You can find out more than just the top number one but the top number ten too. This book ranges from the most venomous snakes to the top ten pet names for celebrities. I personally enjoyed this book because of all the interesting facts in it that I never knew before. Anybody who reads this book is most likely to find at least one fact that they are interested in out of the 7000 fascinating facts. I loved the way the author Russell Ash added lots of fun and topic related images that helped to explain what certain topic were about. If you are into simple and strait forward books I would have to say this is a great book for you.
This book was really enjoyable to read because you don’t have to read the whole book but instead flip around to the parts of the book that you like. The Top Ten of Everything was a great book for me because not only could I catch up on the newest and most up to date information but you could also what the records were in the past. This book really helps when they are talking about records with numbers like population because they also had graphs that help to get the full image.
The book was crammed full of information about practically anything. The one thing though, that I disliked was that on certain pages they only focused a hole 2 pages on very individual topics that you may not like as much, like the Beatles, or the 10 last public executions in England instead of worldwide. Even if so, I did find then a little bit interesting.
I personally enjoyed looking at the most popular names and seeing if I recognised anyone with the same name .Even if that might seem boring to you , they have other facts such as the top ten 100 meter male dash, or fun facts about the Universe and Earth.
I thought this was a fascinating book to read and would recommend it to people who love finding out random but awesome and cool facts on anything. I loved the way he displayed the information and had helpful and clear images and diagrams. This was a great book!

Very interesting! Obviously, I didn't read all of it but I learned some interesting facts: New York has the second longest subway system in the world, giraffes are the fourth heaviest terrestial mammal, the US spends more than four times the money on advertising than any other country...

I need to replace my old copy of this book--it comes out every year and I have one from the 1990s, but it is a super resource for cool little trivia to use in the classroom.
